Not cheap lol BUT quality of the products is excellent. Today I was helped by Robin (Robyn? Not positive on the spelling) but she was SOOOO helpful in recommending good gift options for my buddies kids. She wrapped the clothes beautifully and even noted which box was for which kid. She was fun to chit chat with and truly made my shopping experience enjoyable and a highlight of my day. I'll be back!

I saw that this alleged boutique was close to our hotel, so my 4 year old daughter and I walked over to have a look. From the moment we walked in, a young woman seemed to be looking over us at every turn. It didn't dawn on me for a while that she was someone who works there, actually following me, presumably for loss prevention reasons, for the precise reason that this HAS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME EVER BEFORE IN MY LIFE! Usually sales associates flock to me because, based on the way I present myself, they know they are about to make a sizable commission. This might have made more sense if I was dressed casually or something, but I guess they see a lot of thieves wearing Hermes and diamonds? A word of advice to the staff: you sell onesies; get over yourself. Oh, and your selection is very pedestrian; get a new buyer because your sales floor looks like literal garbage.

We were hunting for Smiskis and found only two boxes, which the staff had kindly set aside behind the counter -- they were super nice and helpful about it. Just a heads-up, there's a small upcharge if you pay with a card (which is becoming more common in the area). They have a pretty large Sanrio selection and some snacks and candies too. The store is clean, well-organized, and check-out was fast and easy. It's a little on the pricey side though. While I've heard they sometimes follow customers around to prevent shoplifting, that didn't happen to me, but I can see how it might feel awkward if you're browsing slowly or being indecisive. Still, the overall experience was pleasant, and it's definitely worth a visit if you're into cute collectibles or gifts.

The owners are the best and I love that it's a family run shop. Occasionally they'll have special events. My favorite has been Meet and Greet with Hello Kitty and Kuromi and also being invited to their special friends and family anniversary event.

The books are in good condition and well-organized with clearly labeled shelves and sections. The CD section oddly didn't seem to be organized in any way though - not by genre or even in alphabetical order by artist. I found it impossible to find anything I was specifically looking for, and I gave up. If you're looking to just browse though and not find a specific artist, give it a look. I found fewer newer titles here than I typically do in other used bookstores in the city, but that' s likely due to the fact that they get most of their books as cast-offs from the city library system and outright donations. I was initially confused about where to locate the prices on the books, until I came across the sign on the sales floor explaining the system. I wish it was posted more prominently right when you enter to save people the confusion. You can't beat the more than reasonable prices though. The employees are friendly and helpful, and they have a couple bookstores cats, which I love. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the neighborhood!

What sets this place apart is the downstairs area, which is more of a traditional department store vibe. They've got a huge selection of cosmetics, a smaller section of skincare, and a whole stationery area with a ton of pens (though I'll admit, the prices felt steep -- not sure if that's just Philly, but it's definitely more expensive than what I'm used to). Snack selection was solid and reasonably priced, and I was excited to see the TikTok-famous mango and peach ice cream bars sold individually for \$5 each. Most places make you buy the full 3-pack for \$15 when you just want to try one, so this was a win in my book. There's also a small café and seating area downstairs, which is a nice touch, but the cleanliness definitely needs work -- the floor was sticky, trash cans were duct-taped together, and the space just didn't feel as fresh as it should for a newer store. Service was great though -- fast checkout, no one hovering over you, and the overall vibe was relaxed and easygoing. It's not perfect, but You & Me has a fun selection and a unique setup that makes it worth checking out if you're in the area.
