It's always clean and they have a number of cold beverages. I have a location closer to me but I will travel to this one because it has the freshest options and nicest staff. Here's the Scoop: This is my second time here and both times I was pleased. The pretzels are fresh, soft and not too salty. Nice tasting dough. You can get 5 for $4.50. I haven't tried the bites yet but they looked tasty as well. Plenty of dipping sauces to choose from. I'm from Philly so traditionally we would put mustard on our pretzels. Ive ordered a few times from this location. Usually good. I need to remember to stick to the plain pretzels and buckets, always tasty. I ordered the family pack for National pretzel day. The cheesesteak rivets and mini dog rivets were not edible, had a burnt briney taste. The bucket of plain rivets were good. read more

I drove from Eastport (exit 70 L.I.E) to Exit 57 (Vets Memorial) to go to Philly's Pretzel Factory in Smithtown, NY. This was my first time that I ever ate a Philly's pretzel. However, I ordered from them; because.......I was bringing the CROWD PLEASER pretzel pack to a OKTOBERFEST block party on Monday, Columbus Day, 10/11/21. Was it fabulous! The order was perfect, thanks to Kayla who took the order a few days before. She was wonderful. I was so impressed with the product. It made such a hit at the gathering. They were warm, fresh, salted perfectly, tasty, and remained soft for hours during the gala. People were taking them home. I will drive back there again for the next party! I went to "Auntie Ann's" in Tanger Outlets In Riverhead, a week before I found Philly's on the Internet, to investigate about ordering from them for the party. The gentleman was not only rude, and not interested in discussing taking an order. The place was NOT busy. There were no brochures, no pictures to show me what I could order for a party. He told me to go online and view pictures. I wanted to know the pricing. Again, I was told to go online. I asked to buy one of the pretzels. It cost me for ONE PRETZEL $4.20!!! It was greasy and tasteless except for the grease. I immediately contacted Philly's in Smithtown and spoke to Kayla who answered all my questions. I was able to see the selections online. Gross!!! The guy working at the counter had a greasy bob haircut to which he did NOT have it clipped back nor wore a hairnet. This guy kept pushing his greasy locks back with this dirty glues and at no point did he change them. We waiting for the pretzels and some mini hotdogs and wouldn't allow that guy to touch our food. The pretzels were a mix of overcooked ones, stale ones and wet ones too. However that wasn't as gross as the undercooked min hotdogs. Save your money! This place is over priced trash!!! read more

The long awaited opening is here! The Philly Pretzel Factory is here and picked a great spot to open! You could feel the excitement of the employees as they see people coming in and are ready to take your order. The lines were moving and the fresh pretzels were quickly being swiped up and bagged. I ordered cinnamon rivet shaker, the rivet box and the pretzel hot dog and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was friendly, helpful and outgoing...such a great vibe. I'd like to liken these pretzels to crack. They are completely addictive. Soft pillowy warm delicious. A million times better than a hot city cart pretzel. I wish I could give it less than one star. So I stop in on a a Wednesday and ask, "if I am going to make an order tomorrow, how much notice do you need?" I was told by the worker, it's a Thursday and not a busy day so will only need 20 minutes notice. I said, great. So the next day I call up to place my order and spoke to a young girl. Although was very nice, did not know much. So I place my order which takes very very long. So after giving my order I hear another worker in background saying we don't have that, we don't have that. Long story short-they didn't have 90% of what I wanted (including pretzel dogs and pepperoni melts)..I was then told by another employee to call a few days in advance if I was pretzel dogs, pepperoni melts etc. so basically on a menu of like five things-they have one! So I said forget it and hung up. They need to work on educating their employees and increasing their inventory. I mean come on, I was ordering 6 pretzel dogs not 600. Extremely DISAPPOINTED with the organization and the service of this place. On December 30th my wife called to place an order to have ready for New Years Eve. They told her they are not taking orders for New Years Eve and to just come in that day and place the order. They said it would take 8-10 min to make a tray. So now it's New Years Eve and she goes into the place and is watching as people are picking up theirs orders. Very strange considering we we were told they weren't taking orders for the day. She goes to order and is told they are not making anything today. What the hell!!!! We are beyond angry as now we have nothing to bring to our New Years Eve party as everywhere will take up to an hour to make something. My wife explained what she was told on the phone and there was no sympathy at all. They wouldn't even make her a 10 piece crowd pleaser even knowing she was given bogus information the day before.
