If we didn't pay the extra amount, the warranty would be void. After the install, when one of the blinds they installed was sagging, she merely sent the instructions for us to have fixed.

They were rusted beyond recognition and I was so embarrassed to bring them to Scott to see what was possible. Scott smiled as I showed him my buried treasure and asked if I had a few minutes to wait. With that he disappeared into his workshop with the rusted shears. Not even 10 minutes later Scott reappears with an even bigger smile. The shears are good as new and we both wish we had a before picture ( see the after picture below). So there we have it friends. Another memorable moment in my Vanderhoof Hardware journey. I had some concerns that there would be trouble painting over the dark color. It turned out great! The gray showed no trace of the previous dark blue color. Moreover, there was a lot of pre-treatment of the various indentations and peeling paint on the ceiling near my recessed lighting. The closet needed to be pre-treated as well. It was full of peeling paint and various deep indentations. I was more than pleased with the way these problems came out! It looks great like "new" drywall was just painted! In addition to the way the paint job turned out, I was also very pleased with the service I received at Target Painting. The job "coordinator' was Junior Aragao. He coordinated the pre-treat team that prepared the room for painting with the painting team. Junior made the whole project just "happen" with no chaos or confusion that is usually associated with multi-team home contractors! I would definitely recommend Target Painting to anyone without hesitation.

There was a brass tea pot light hanging from the ceiling that was so lovely, I wish I could have purchased! A lot of items have been restored or repurposed beautifully. It's the fun of the hunt to find something different. As I walked around, there weren't many "newer items" which is okay in my book! It was a fun place to look around, especially after being cooped up in the house during the pandemic.
