The store itself has a small but good variety of items for home improvement. But I think this is just a supply store for local contractors? Several contractors came in and out with what looked like a bulk order. But when I looked around NOTHING in the store was priced out. When I asked where the prices were on everything they said "The owner asked them not to price anything because the prices change every day." Yikes. Incredibly sketchy.

They don't seem to be charmers by any means and if you're not assertive, I can visualize them getting lost in a conversation about a supermodel while a line backs up at the register (not that paint stores get many backups). Overall Benjamin Moore paint is excellent and my painters applied it beautifully to our house. People that walk by really like the colors and a recent unsolicited offer for my house based on the curb appeal (they didn't see the inside) is another testament to the look of a well done Benjamin Moore paint job. So I'd give Becky 4-5 stars for her eye and skill with the color palette - and the rest of the experience a 2.5

I felt my time was wasted. Then 7 days later, they (Johnson Paint) sent my a "canned" , cold automated duplicitous email, lying about moving forward with another candidate?! But when I went directly to their careers page on their corporate website, I noticed that the "Credit Manager" position was never filled! Mind you there was only one open position for this job! They lied to me , just to get rid of me and to deter me from applying for any other open requisitions with the Johnson Paint company! In retrospect, after reviewing several disgruntled customer experiences reviewed here on yelp.com, I'm glad employment with Johnson Paint did not come to fruition!

Evan gave me lots of pointers on how to go about painting it like painting from the bottom up and I totally understand now why that has to be. He recommended a type of paint that is tougher than usual but still latex, which brush to use and told me I didn't need to sand which was a relief. Out of nowhere, the employee began verbally berating me for letting my toddler make a mess and "be annoying." I was stunned. There was no chaos. There was no disruption. Just a bored little kid counting tape while we waited for service that never came. The tone was hostile, condescending, and completely unprovoked. If this is how they treat parents with well-behaved children, I can't imagine how they treat anyone else. If you want quality paint and a business that treats customers like human beings, go to the Benjamin Moore in Malden or Ace in Stoneham instead. They're friendly, helpful, and professional -- everything this location is not. This store has lost my business permanently. And we've spent thousands as we've renovated our home over the years. But judging by today, they never seemed interested in earning it in the first place.

Got an email confirmation at 3:46pm on May 29 saying "Your delivery is on track!" and "Your delivery scheduled!" for that same day. No one ever showed up or contacted me. Didn't have time to call on Thursday so I called on Friday morning at 9:38am. The person I spoke to said deliveries are only made on Wednesdays and Saturdays and that someone would call me Saturday May 31 to let me know when the delivery would be ready. It's now 7pm and Ace closes at 5pm. No one has called, no delivery has been brought to the house. I REALLY wanted to give my business to someplace local, but this is ridiculous. I have cancelled my order and unfortunately won't be using this Ace Hardware in Woburn ever again. If an order is placed with a delivery day that you don't deliver on, you should contact the person placing the order and inform them of such. Extremely disappointing.
