    Beware of written communication that says..."The price we can offer you...is below." See picture. This in fact is not the price, the price is $10k higher before the normal things you expect such as tax and registration. And when you click the button for details, nope it is not listed there either. Pretty deceptive communication. Be sure to call and ask for all that's missing from their "offers" before you go to the dealer for an unpleasant surprise. Why not just be transparent? They seem to have a unique definition of price. To most its the price of the car they are willing to accept and then of course tax, registration and processing. At this dealership price excludes added dealer markup....I'm pretty sure that fails the "reasonable person" test. Update: Just talked with the GM and Internet manager. You can't rely on the written offer (pic attached) or even the "click here for detailed pricing" to know the actual price of the car. You have to take a third step to initiate the purchase and provide them personal information before they will tell you the actual price of the car. They did say it's more transparent when you come to the dealer and see the stickers on the car. If you are shopping for a car via the website....be very careful to get all the details. I'd like to say "get them in writing" but as you can see by the picture that can't be relied on. I am sure they will post a reply that says hot cars get dealer mark ups. I get that....just don't make offers or provide "pricing details" that don't provide the actual price.

    I worked with Mike awhile back. Mike did a great job showing me various Acura models which could have been a good fit. We test drive two models and they were wonderful. I did not feel pressured to 'sign at the dotted line,' as Mike made me feel comfortable. He was also highly knowledgeable on the models. However, I ultimately did not lease an Acura due to an unexpected expense which came up that superseded said prospective purchase. Regardless, I may lease from Mike in the future, and would highly recommend him as your Acura Sales Consultant.

    Trading in my lease and Nicholas was my salesman. He was friendly and not pushy at all. Everyone seemed to be very honest and did their best to get me the car I wanted for the price I wanted.     This is the second car I got from Phil Smith Acura and once again they have over delivered on the whole process!!! My salesman Andrew made everything so easy and painless, I went to a few neighboring dealers to shop for the best price and aside from being the best price, the part I admire the most is that I felt like I was treated like family. Every other dealer I have gone to I always feel like I'm just a sale, they'll tell me whatever just so I can sign and drive with all the pressure. This is the same reason I come here for service because I get the same amazing treatment there and they always make me feel like a vip when I'm just a average Joe. I hardly write reviews but when appreciation is do, it needs attention to those that excel in a thankless world! Thank you Phil Smith Acura for everything and most importantly keeping my family safe on the road!!!!

Throughout the sales process, I repeatedly asked questions about the financing terms, the total cost of the vehicle, and exactly what I would be responsible for paying. Salesperson Jeremy Rivas consistently focused on my BMW X1 trade-in, my $15,000 down payment, and the monthly payment of $1,444.79. I spent hours reviewing the numbers and trying to fully understand the transaction. I still have the worksheet used during the negotiation. It contains the trade-in value, down payment, monthly payment, and financing term. However, it does not mention a balloon payment of $42,568.75 anywhere on the document. I left the dealership believing my obligation consisted of my trade-in vehicle, my down payment, and 36 monthly payments. Only later, after logging into my BMW Financial Services account, did I discover that the contract included a final balloon payment of $42,568.75. My complaint is not that the balloon payment exists. My complaint is that such a significant financial obligation was never clearly explained to me despite my repeated questions and despite the obvious language barrier. Had this obligation been clearly disclosed and explained, I would never have agreed to this financing structure. Customers deserve transparency and clear communication when making major financial decisions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at BMW of Pompano Beach.

    Buying process is far different ... and let's preface that the unit was priced much higher than…read moreothers in market, not negotiable, and Carmax too now adds dealer prep and handling fee in the 1000 dollar range. So we found a car outside the area. We paid the have it transported here from another Carmax. We contacted a local GM dealer and found that Carmaxs Equifax reporting (versus Carfax) was incorrect and manufacturer warranty was finished. We also found the CPO on file was never paid for original dealer and thus not in effect. Urgh .... So we reach out after hours by chat to discuss cancelling and to find out the process when they were incorrect. Not to worry, the car was on a test drive and being sold today. Didn't you see the refund pending for delivery you paid ??? What ... So in effect the delivery was paid and funds received. The car was on hold and Carmax allowed another buyer to test drive and buy a unit held for transport. Then they just refund the money and fail to alert via phone and email. Wow ! Now again we were going to cancel and all is well in end. We won't likely ever consider Carmax for a buy in future however. Bad info on cars, poor hold and transport policies, and true lack of empathy around their business model and loopholes. Just another typical car dealer experience !!!

You go to the lot and you spot what car you want to test drive and they will then set you up with the test drive. I guess it's a good system if you don't see anything you like and you don't waste a salesperson time, but I thought that was kind of odd. We walked around for about 15-20 min and did not find anything that caught our eyes. But at least we now know how it works.

    I purchased two commercial trucks from this dealership for my delivery and logistics business,…read moreincluding plans to expand into disaster relief work during Hurricanes Helene and Milton. What followed was a pattern of broken promises, unresolved mechanical issues, and misleading information that caused serious harm to my business. Multiple unauthorized credit inquiries were run. I was promised these vehicles could later be traded for cargo vans or hotshot trucks, and that commitment was later abandoned. I was repeatedly told my truck had been "fixed." In reality, many problems were never resolved. I have uploaded video evidence showing the truck failing to start, despite being cleared for service. I was also told the hazard lights were on during testing -- video proves they were not. Service records list mileage that does not match the actual odometer at the time. Because of these ongoing failures, my trucks were unreliable for contracted work. I lost income, contracts, and credibility with clients as a result. Instead of supporting a long-term commercial customer, I was left dealing with excuses, shifting explanations, and unreliable equipment. This experience caused significant financial and professional damage. I am sharing this so other business owners understand the risks. Document everything and do not rely on verbal assurances. He was very laidback and extremely helpful. No pressure. Gave me the information I needed to make my decision. Did some other homework and called back. Joel was not available however his teammate,Adan, was able to seamlessly assist me with a test drive and other questions. I HATE buying a car. Nothing EVER pleasant about the experience. Well, Toyota of Deerfield changed that. I have a very good condition used vehicle in my driveway as a result of the experience I had. If you're looking...see Joel or Adan. It's worth the look. But I had to tell my neighbors In the community.."Beware of this service department." They are very rude and not professional. If you want to know why. Or you can just take my word of advice. If your like myself I like to go to a dealership for OEM parts and bigger service than oil change and brake pads . Just go out to Coral Springs they are my go to now no problem out west it's a little out of the way. But well worth it... The service department will try to find things that are not needed and over charge you. On several occasions I had problems with that . I never dropped a bad review. Until I Got an estimate in writing. Water pump and timing belt. Thermostat. That 1000k mile routine service that stated in my owner's manual. Can seals , tension, pulley and new serpentine belt I just replaced with they call it a drive belt. They said they can't do the job without doing that. I mean these little things just started adding up . Basically telling me they can't take a serpentine belt off without breaking it. I should've just left at that moment but I was already there. I had the time off. I said let's just go ahead with move forward and just get done , quoted me $1300 1-1/2 months later . I came in the it was $1900 for the same service. I just shook my head and said well it needs to be done, pls make sure there is nothing else that needs to be done i did not even want to pay $1500 ( on line and other dealerships charge $1100 ) then they said 1/2 way through the process oh you need a $500 part ( that's was clearly in front ) if they even change lf the bracket . , Needless to say jump in the car 1 mile on the way home water coolant exploding from my engine off and towed back to the the shop . And again I said it's leaking oil real bad. The service manager insisted that it was my vehicle's leak. I said no.sir this leak is leaking 2 quarts in 4 minutes leak ( cam seals ) and they showed me the leak is not leaking anymore. I took a picture of it cause it was a quick look while it was a part. I looked at it further they said it was perfect. The leak was from something else. I need to replace something major and needless to say they forgot to put a spacer on my pulley. My timing belt jumped and ripped and didn't thank God it didn't break, but it was holding on by a thread! And then they finally admitted that it was their fault and they will fix it . ( the manager didn't get back with me forever. I had to go over to Corporate in Arizona to have him call him , And he said you have a problem with my son ? ) I said I don't know who your son is but I have a problem with your mechanics. Apparently his son is the manager of the service what a very expensive service job and night mare ( first of all I bring my truck in running like a sewing machine , they almost blew it up three times luckily, I watched it and drove really slow .) less then 10 mile total I Aaa towed it 2 times to my house and then to there shop . I could not believe they didn't want to even send a tow truck to pick it up. I would never trust that dealership for anything every time I go in there for Oil Change before that they told me I'd have to do brakes and such. I did my own Brake Pads. I told him didn't even look. Also they said I needed a new cabin air filter in my vehicle doesn't have a cabin air filter. It's just a very unpleasant experience, oil change I used to have done there . I had a very bad experience with the manger of the dealership and the service department manager ( he was adamant about my truck having an oil leak. Didn't even wanna look at it. He says oh it says here that you had an oil leak. ) you didn't even go outside to look at I said can you please just go out here and look at it one of the Service men looked at it I said oh yeah that's definitely not from any other leaking problems. Needless to say . I over paid for the Service and was just swept out under mat and turning me around . I had to go back 4 times and I never got a single response or a apology from the Manager only one service assistant manager said I apologize after I pointed out that they did not put my perfect running 4.7v8 back together, and all that time side of the road , my towing, thank goodness I had Aaa towing. And all the time with out my vehicle. They didn't even bother to wash there greasy hand prints off my suv . At this moment I just took my keys any prayed they did what I paid them for correctly. Oh no sticker with the mileage on the engine .,night mare

    I do not typically write reviews of other places than restaurants, because I am a chef/restaurant…read moreowner, and that is my passion, but when a company and a member of a staff go out of there way to help me, make things right, and provide exemplary service, I feel compelled to write a review to give kudos for their thoughtful help! This happened in my experience with Pompano Honda and specifically with one of there sales team, Tyson. Who went above and beyond, with exemplary service, care, attention to detail and follow-up, that is rare in this day and age. This happened on an occasion, that is very stressful, takes a leap of faith and was a large purchase order, buying a car site unseen, then shipping it to across the country, from Florida to California. Tyson was extremely helpful in the initial sale of the used Jeep that I purchased, providing me all the information that I needed to make the purchase of a vehicle I had only seen in pictures. He then helped me with the shipping of the Jeep the paperwork I needed to register the vehicle in my state and even called me when the Jeep arrived in California. Already great service, tremendous help, but here is where it goes further. When the Jeep arrived, I found that it had a very small radiator leak, that had unfortunately slipped past the vehicle inspection. it was so small, that I understand how it happened. When I informed Tyson of the issue, even though used cars sold and purchased are sold as-is, without a warranty, Tyson, alleviated my concerns immediately, by letting me know that he would take care of the issue, would go to his manager, to resolve the issue and he would get back to me by the next morning. True to his world, he gave me a call the next morning and told me to take the Jeep to a mechanic and the dealership would send a check for the repairs. I was so relieved that Pompano Honda stood behind a sale they did not have to and that Tyson, followed up after the sale and made sure, that I and my vehicle were taken care of in a stressful situation. I took the Jeep in the next day and had the radiator replaced, true to his word and Pompano Honda's management, a check was issued, sent out, paid in full! Thank you Tyson, and Pompano Honda for standing behind an issue with a sale you were not obliged to stand behind, resolving the issue quickly, fairly and completely. Truly, if you need to go to a dealership and salesperson, who will supply you a great car, at a fair price and if there is an issue, will stand behind the sale, if there is an issue, go to see Tyson at Pompano Honda, you will happy and satisfied that you did!

    Maybe it's the luck of the draw, but I got an excellent service advisor to help me. Though, I just…read moreneeded and oil change and one of those multi-point inspection. I love their report on the inspection; allows me to plan ahead for any additional maintenance on my Honda HRV. Over 90,000 miles now, so have to be diligent about maintenance.
