So after BMW reached out to me about purchasing my 2015 328i with 61K miles on it, I decided to see what they would offer to buy my car for. They seemed really enthusiastic about buying it, and saying how mint the condition of the car is in and how clean it looks. The person I originally talked to was super nice and showed me a couple cars while I waited. I had both keys, and service records this car was only serviced there too. They say the offer is read and the manager say I'll tell him the offer. The manager goes to list a bunch of excuses that the brakes and tires are worn when I got it serviced for brakes in January 2024, and have only out 1450 miles it on since then, and rattling bunch of other flaws after saying the car is "mint/excellent condition" they come with this low ball offer of 6,000 dollars I went to car Mac and sold it for 11,000! I will never buy a car from them again!

6/30/23 Hola Julio: A message came up on my 2020 330i that said my coolant was low so I brought my car in to get it checked for leaks, then filled with coolant. Michael Fine did his usual great job. Last time my window motor was broken, and he got it replaced. So, he did his due diligence, as tires had wear and time was coming for maintenance, but I wanted to wait till August. It was a nice touch to have a video sent to my phone, for service items, and to keep me apprised of progress. So thanks to your service guy for his great work. Michael had a beautiful VW Tiguan for me to use, while I left my car to be serviced. It was very nice, but not a Bimmer, ha! As Service Advisor, Michael is very personable, professional, and works hard to make his clients happy. He enjoys his craft and is a credit to Vista BMW, 5 star all the way. In addition, your updates to the property are very welcome, as extra space was needed for service and parking. Looks great! So, all good and I look forward to my next visit to Vista BMW Pompano Pompano Beach. You all have my utmost respect. Regards, Marc Walther Pompano Beach marc132@me.com 954-647-0638

So we found a car outside the area. We paid the have it transported here from another Carmax. We contacted a local GM dealer and found that Carmaxs Equifax reporting (versus Carfax) was incorrect and manufacturer warranty was finished. We also found the CPO on file was never paid for original dealer and thus not in effect. Urgh .... So we reach out after hours by chat to discuss cancelling and to find out the process when they were incorrect. Not to worry, the car was on a test drive and being sold today. Didn't you see the refund pending for delivery you paid ??? What ... So in effect the delivery was paid and funds received. The car was on hold and Carmax allowed another buyer to test drive and buy a unit held for transport. Then they just refund the money and fail to alert via phone and email. Wow ! Now again we were going to cancel and all is well in end. We won't likely ever consider Carmax for a buy in future however. Bad info on cars, poor hold and transport policies, and true lack of empathy around their business model and loopholes. Just another typical car dealer experience !!!

You go to the lot and you spot what car you want to test drive and they will then set you up with the test drive. I guess it's a good system if you don't see anything you like and you don't waste a salesperson time, but I thought that was kind of odd. The Best Car-Buying Experience We've Ever Had!…read more We recently purchased a vehicle from Lou Bachrodt Pompano Beach Chevrolet and I can honestly say this was the greatest car-buying experience we've ever had. Our sales consultant, Rory, was absolutely fantastic. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, he actually listened to what we were looking for.. Bill in the finance department was also an incredible asset to the dealership. He thoroughly explained every step of the financing process, answered all of our questions, and worked hard to find us the best available rate. Everyone we encountered at the dealership was friendly and welcoming. The quality of their vehicles is excellent, and they have a great variety of quality used cars on the lot. If you don't see exactly what you're looking for, they will more than likely be able to source the right vehicle for you in a timely manner. We are extremely happy with the vehicle we purchased. Even though it's a used vehicle, it looks and feels like a brand-new vehicle! I highly recommend Lou Bachrodt Automotive Group, and I especially recommend Rory. If you're in the market for a vehicle, ask for Rory when you walk through the door -- you will not be disappointed! Thank you to Hugh's team and especially Rory and Bill, for making what could have been a stressful experience such a positive and seemless experience!

The moment the sale was completed, accountability disappeared…read more I spent approximately five and a half hours at Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet Pompano Beach purchasing a used 2026 Volkswagen Atlas. The experience during the sale was initially pleasant, which makes everything that followed even more disappointing. Before leaving the dealership, I specifically pointed out a white substance or heavy residue embedded around the second-row climate-control panel. My salesperson, Jayden Francis, returned the vehicle to detailing for another attempt to clean it. The dealership's detailers could not remove it. I was then told that I might try using an acid or similar product myself. That suggestion alone was astonishing. I had just purchased a 2026 vehicle and was being encouraged to experiment with a harsh chemical because the dealership's own employees could not restore the interior panel. When I got home and properly examined the vehicle, I discovered that the condition was not merely cosmetic. The climate-control buttons were stuck or partially depressed and caused the system to increase and decrease settings without user input. Both rear USB-C ports were completely nonfunctional. The 115-volt outlet was inaccessible because its panel would not properly open. I notified the dealership immediately. My detailed email explained that the condition existed before delivery, was raised before I left, and had already been the subject of an unsuccessful detailing attempt. Rather than receiving a telephone call or substantive written response from an authorized manager, I was told that this was a service-related issue. That is an evasion, not a resolution. Of course a technician may need to diagnose the components. The actual dispute, however, concerns why the dealership delivered a vehicle with a condition it knew existed, who will authorize and pay for the complete correction, whether the contaminated trim will be replaced, and what transportation will be provided while the vehicle is unavailable. Those are sales and management decisions. The closing documents created an additional nightmare. The finance manager offered to place my documents on a USB drive rather than print them. I accepted. The drive displayed 15 filenames, but numerous files were unusable or empty. The dealership later emailed two PDF packets, but those packets included only a limited selection of the documents and did not reproduce most of the USB directory. Among the documents I did not receive in usable form were the final Buyers Guide, Buyer's Order, We Owe form, separately identified arbitration addendum, privacy notice, insurance affidavit, payoff authorization, and other transaction records. The documents that were supplied then raised even more questions. My installment contract requires 77 monthly payments, but the separate $1,200 GAP document says the finance and GAP terms are 72 months. The available papers also show different vehicle and cash-price figures that I cannot completely reconcile without the missing Buyer's Order. There were other issues too. The vehicle had pre-existing bumper scratches. A $250 repaint arrangement was discussed before I left, although I believe the dealership should have covered the entire repair. The vehicle came without floor mats, without a physical owner's manual, and with only one key. I am not claiming that every employee intentionally caused these problems. I am describing the result: a recently purchased vehicle with immediately discovered functional defects, incomplete and unusable transaction records, inconsistent contractual terms, and management personnel who have not provided a complete response. Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet was very efficient when it wanted my signature. It has been remarkably inefficient when asked to stand behind the vehicle and explain the paperwork. I strongly recommend that prospective buyers independently inspect every feature before signing, demand printed copies of every document, compare the term of every optional product against the financing term, and refuse to leave until every promise is written into the Buyer's Order or We Owe form. Based on my experience, I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

But I had to tell my neighbors In the community.."Beware of this service department." They are very rude and not professional. If you want to know why. Or you can just take my word of advice. If your like myself I like to go to a dealership for OEM parts and bigger service than oil change and brake pads . Just go out to Coral Springs they are my go to now no problem out west it's a little out of the way. But well worth it... The service department will try to find things that are not needed and over charge you. On several occasions I had problems with that . I never dropped a bad review. Until I Got an estimate in writing. Water pump and timing belt. Thermostat. That 1000k mile routine service that stated in my owner's manual. Can seals , tension, pulley and new serpentine belt I just replaced with they call it a drive belt. They said they can't do the job without doing that. I mean these little things just started adding up . Basically telling me they can't take a serpentine belt off without breaking it. I should've just left at that moment but I was already there. I had the time off. I said let's just go ahead with move forward and just get done , quoted me $1300 1-1/2 months later . I came in the it was $1900 for the same service. I just shook my head and said well it needs to be done, pls make sure there is nothing else that needs to be done i did not even want to pay $1500 ( on line and other dealerships charge $1100 ) then they said 1/2 way through the process oh you need a $500 part ( that's was clearly in front ) if they even change lf the bracket . , Needless to say jump in the car 1 mile on the way home water coolant exploding from my engine off and towed back to the the shop . And again I said it's leaking oil real bad. The service manager insisted that it was my vehicle's leak. I said no.sir this leak is leaking 2 quarts in 4 minutes leak ( cam seals ) and they showed me the leak is not leaking anymore. I took a picture of it cause it was a quick look while it was a part. I looked at it further they said it was perfect. The leak was from something else. I need to replace something major and needless to say they forgot to put a spacer on my pulley. My timing belt jumped and ripped and didn't thank God it didn't break, but it was holding on by a thread! And then they finally admitted that it was their fault and they will fix it . ( the manager didn't get back with me forever. I had to go over to Corporate in Arizona to have him call him , And he said you have a problem with my son ? ) I said I don't know who your son is but I have a problem with your mechanics. Apparently his son is the manager of the service what a very expensive service job and night mare ( first of all I bring my truck in running like a sewing machine , they almost blew it up three times luckily, I watched it and drove really slow .) less then 10 mile total I Aaa towed it 2 times to my house and then to there shop . I could not believe they didn't want to even send a tow truck to pick it up. I would never trust that dealership for anything every time I go in there for Oil Change before that they told me I'd have to do brakes and such. I did my own Brake Pads. I told him didn't even look. Also they said I needed a new cabin air filter in my vehicle doesn't have a cabin air filter. It's just a very unpleasant experience, oil change I used to have done there . I had a very bad experience with the manger of the dealership and the service department manager ( he was adamant about my truck having an oil leak. Didn't even wanna look at it. He says oh it says here that you had an oil leak. ) you didn't even go outside to look at I said can you please just go out here and look at it one of the Service men looked at it I said oh yeah that's definitely not from any other leaking problems. Needless to say . I over paid for the Service and was just swept out under mat and turning me around . I had to go back 4 times and I never got a single response or a apology from the Manager only one service assistant manager said I apologize after I pointed out that they did not put my perfect running 4.7v8 back together, and all that time side of the road , my towing, thank goodness I had Aaa towing. And all the time with out my vehicle. They didn't even bother to wash there greasy hand prints off my suv . At this moment I just took my keys any prayed they did what I paid them for correctly. Oh no sticker with the mileage on the engine .,night mare

This happened in my experience with Pompano Honda and specifically with one of there sales team, Tyson. Who went above and beyond, with exemplary service, care, attention to detail and follow-up, that is rare in this day and age. This happened on an occasion, that is very stressful, takes a leap of faith and was a large purchase order, buying a car site unseen, then shipping it to across the country, from Florida to California. Tyson was extremely helpful in the initial sale of the used Jeep that I purchased, providing me all the information that I needed to make the purchase of a vehicle I had only seen in pictures. He then helped me with the shipping of the Jeep the paperwork I needed to register the vehicle in my state and even called me when the Jeep arrived in California. Already great service, tremendous help, but here is where it goes further. When the Jeep arrived, I found that it had a very small radiator leak, that had unfortunately slipped past the vehicle inspection. it was so small, that I understand how it happened. When I informed Tyson of the issue, even though used cars sold and purchased are sold as-is, without a warranty, Tyson, alleviated my concerns immediately, by letting me know that he would take care of the issue, would go to his manager, to resolve the issue and he would get back to me by the next morning. True to his world, he gave me a call the next morning and told me to take the Jeep to a mechanic and the dealership would send a check for the repairs. I was so relieved that Pompano Honda stood behind a sale they did not have to and that Tyson, followed up after the sale and made sure, that I and my vehicle were taken care of in a stressful situation. I took the Jeep in the next day and had the radiator replaced, true to his word and Pompano Honda's management, a check was issued, sent out, paid in full! Thank you Tyson, and Pompano Honda for standing behind an issue with a sale you were not obliged to stand behind, resolving the issue quickly, fairly and completely. Truly, if you need to go to a dealership and salesperson, who will supply you a great car, at a fair price and if there is an issue, will stand behind the sale, if there is an issue, go to see Tyson at Pompano Honda, you will happy and satisfied that you did!

Unprofessional, Dishonest, and Predatory, A Slap in the Face to a 7 Year Customer…read more I have been a loyal customer at this dealership for the past seven years, having bought my Honda brand new right off their lot. After my most recent experience, however, I will never return. I am incredibly frustrated with their blatant lack of accountability and dishonest business practices. About five months ago, I have the engine splash shield fixed. They completed the job, and I was led to believe the issue was fully resolved. Fast forward a few months, and the exact same issue happened again. When I brought the car back in, the service advisor, John, told me there is absolutely no warranty on the labor they previously performed. To make matters worse, he actually admitted that they only "tried fixing it" the first time around. When I confronted him and pointed out that their own system literally says the part was "fixed" not "attempted to fix" he had no valid excuse. Because their initial shoddy work failed, they are now trying to charge me a staggering $700 to replace the entire piece. It is completely unacceptable to perform a temporary band-aid repair, log it as a permanent fix in the system, and then demand an exorbitant fee from a longterm customer when that exact work inevitably falls apart. This dealership is highly unprofessional and is clearly taking advantage of people. Refusing to stand behind their own labor and trying to squeeze more money out of a customer who bought a brand new vehicle from them and stayed loyal for seven years is a terrible way to do business. Save your time and your money, and take your car to a shop that actually operates with integrity.
