On May 29, 2026, I purchased a BMW X6 from BMW of Pompano Beach (744 N Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL 33062). As a Brazilian customer, English is not my first language. Throughout the sales process, I repeatedly asked questions about the financing terms, the total cost of the vehicle, and exactly what I would be responsible for paying. Salesperson Jeremy Rivas consistently focused on my BMW X1 trade-in, my $15,000 down payment, and the monthly payment of $1,444.79. I spent hours reviewing the numbers and trying to fully understand the transaction. I still have the worksheet used during the negotiation. It contains the trade-in value, down payment, monthly payment, and financing term. However, it does not mention a balloon payment of $42,568.75 anywhere on the document. I left the dealership believing my obligation consisted of my trade-in vehicle, my down payment, and 36 monthly payments. Only later, after logging into my BMW Financial Services account, did I discover that the contract included a final balloon payment of $42,568.75. My complaint is not that the balloon payment exists. My complaint is that such a significant financial obligation was never clearly explained to me despite my repeated questions and despite the obvious language barrier. Had this obligation been clearly disclosed and explained, I would never have agreed to this financing structure. Customers deserve transparency and clear communication when making major financial decisions. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at BMW of Pompano Beach. read more

I'm done buying BMWs, thanks to Pompano. I've had my run ins throughout the recent years with nasty BMW dealers and their jockey-sized managers thinking they're selling the blood of Christ, but this one hits the final nail in the coffin. Aside from the lies on the phone, on the availability of cars, and the ability to test drive them, their unforgiving attitude once confronted in person is unmatched. They simply don't give a flying stone if you drove over an hour to come see a car they mentioned was available for you. You know a place has little to none team work efficiency when the ego of the sales manager is larger than his capacity to sell a car and build relations. When even the sales associates dispute and bicker over how they wish they could help you, but the middle level dead end management just has no comprehension on how to treat customers who own multiple BMWs. I've bought from BMW for years. Die hard on BMW, defended them even in their most questionable design language. And I know as a corporation, BMW has nothing to do with this. But they should really audit who they are giving these licenses to - because the dealers are driving away the once loyal customer base. The snark comments, the unapologetic character, the "holier than thou" attitude that you cannot even touch a car, because it is a sacrilege to touch a car, which has been there for months, unable to sell, is inane. Why people keep buying from BMW with these pompous (pompanous?) dealers is beyond me. Don't be wrangled by these amateurs into thinking you're dealing with Bugatti. To the Pompano team, hopefully you can clean up your act and learn to sell cars. So after BMW reached out to me about purchasing my 2015 328i with 61K miles on it, I decided to see what they would offer to buy my car for. They seemed really enthusiastic about buying it, and saying how mint the condition of the car is in and how clean it looks. The person I originally talked to was super nice and showed me a couple cars while I waited. I had both keys, and service records this car was only serviced there too. They say the offer is read and the manager say I'll tell him the offer. The manager goes to list a bunch of excuses that the brakes and tires are worn when I got it serviced for brakes in January 2024, and have only out 1450 miles it on since then, and rattling bunch of other flaws after saying the car is "mint/excellent condition" they come with this low ball offer of 6,000 dollars I went to car Mac and sold it for 11,000! This is for Sales NOT Service. Came in to look at a used 2020 M340i. Of course buying used now is absolutely ridiculous because the prices on used are the same prices when they were sold new. So I test drove it thinking this would be a great car to own. Then the Robert (the Sales Rep) asked me if I wanted to see a 2022 M440i Gran Coupe. Sure why not. I'm looking right? What would it hurt? Fell in love immediately. We came to an agreement on financing a day later. There were no hidden fees. No back and forth. I wanted to be at a certain payment. He made it happen. I'm satisfied. 5 stars for the purchase and all around sales deal. The reason it gets 4 stars overall is because I found two small paint chips on the bumper. I have bought or leased my last four BMWs from Vista BMW OF POMPANO Beach. I've used the same sales person for my last three interactions with this dealership. My experience has been excellent. Sam Benchsnnouf is great. He's responsive and has kept me in the loop at all times. I financed my first vehicle through my bank, but my last three vehicles have been financed through BMW financial services. I saw no difference in the way I was treated whether I financed through my bank or through BMW financial services. I have multiple choices with regards to where I buy my BMWs. Some within 4 miles of my home but I choose to travel the 25 miles to Vista because I trust Sam. I can't say the same with other dealerships I've worked with. read more

6/30/23 Hola Julio: A message came up on my 2020 330i that said my coolant was low so I brought my car in to get it checked for leaks, then filled with coolant. Michael Fine did his usual great job. Last time my window motor was broken, and he got it replaced. So, he did his due diligence, as tires had wear and time was coming for maintenance, but I wanted to wait till August. It was a nice touch to have a video sent to my phone, for service items, and to keep me apprised of progress. So thanks to your service guy for his great work. Michael had a beautiful VW Tiguan for me to use, while I left my car to be serviced. It was very nice, but not a Bimmer, ha! As Service Advisor, Michael is very personable, professional, and works hard to make his clients happy. He enjoys his craft and is a credit to Vista BMW, 5 star all the way. I am extremely disappointed with the service and communication at this BMW dealership. I immediately noticed a damaged rim prior to buying, which they assured me they would fix. However, after owning the car for three months,none of my calls were returned--except for when the General Manager finally responded, which shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. I had placed multiple calls to Robert and the financial person (tad) or (Chad) When they finally got around to painting the rim, they did it in the wrong color, We brought it back for them to fix their mistake, only for the rim to still be the wrong color the second time! This level of service is completely unacceptable for a premium brand like BMW. The constant delays and lack of communication make it impossible to recommend this dealership. I contacted this dealership hoping to purchase an M240 from them. There were several issues from the beginning. For starters, the website listed, that the auto had the Performance Package when it did not. When I questioned this, the sales rep, Milano D,, stated that BMW was no longer offering the premium package on the M240 automobiles. This was a blatant lie. The dealership was also charging a money factor that carried quite a hefty premium to the base money factor suggested by BMW. While dealers are allowed to exceed the base number, this dealership's factor was much higher than other dealerships that I spoke with. He then proceeded to tell me that BMW USA was charging a $5,000 surcharge for every vehicle. He explicitly stated that this was not a fee charged by the dealership, but was coming from BMW national. A quick check revealed that this also was a lie. I don't know if the salesperson Milson or the entire dealership is unethical, but I would certainly warn anyone to carefully examine everything before doing business with this dealership. read more

Where do we begin? I received a phone call from a woman named Denise informing me that my lease was ending and asked me if I'm looking to replace my car with a newer version. I told her I was looking to get a bigger car because of my need for a larger trunk space and she gave some figures of some X series that were not that favorable but she suggested that they had aggressive deals on the I4 and emphasized that future cost savings were great. She invited me to come and see the options and I accepted. Prior to visiting I went to Braman BMW on Okeechobee just to see my options. When I went there they gave me all my options and the prices seemed favorable. I however did not take them up on the offer because Denise gave me figures that were better and I did enjoy my last experience years ago when I had received my current car. When I arrived there was a gentleman with a desk to the front, he greeted my friend and I and we told him that we had an appointment to see Denise. He said was getting the car (I4) from the other lot. He started chatting us up about the sales and telling us that he was the supervisor or manager (can't remember) offered us a beverage and asked if he could see inside of the car to check the mileage and the tires. He kept saying "you don't have to if you are not comfortable but I can do it till Denise gets back" which we found odd that he kept repeating it because no one was objecting. When Denise came with the car she asked me to come outside and take a look at the car. When we went outside he said that the car is over the mileage and that he encourages me to get the trade done as soon as possible. We took the car for a short drive down the street and when we returned I asked to see the trunk. It was smaller than my current car but I was still willing to hear the deals. I first sat down with Denise and she gave me some figures were not aligning with what was previously discussed via phone call. She then went to the gentleman who I mentioned earlier to see if there was anything that could be done. He then came over and took over the whole show. He then started giving me numbers that did not align and making it seem like he was doing me a favor. I knew the numbers were too high because as I said earlier I was looking around. I told him that I knew that I could get a better deal and THEN he rudely said that based on my figures I was better served going next door to Volkswagen while making sure to say to me no offense was meant after giving the snarky comment. I then said to him offense was meant based on his tone. He then said to me "You should shop around because I know my numbers will be validated" as if my numbers were unreasonable. I turned to Denise who I almost forgot was there because he had totally taken over the appointment and expressed to her that she wasted my time because as I stated before I don't live in Broward County and if she had given me these figures over the phone I would have never went down there. I went through the door and as I was leaving I received a phone call from the gentleman from Braman BMW and his manager in Palm Beach telling me they can do a deal for an 2025 X1 for me within my budget. read more

I specifically asked again to ensure we were talking about the same car and was reassured they had it at the dealership. I was told to ask for Roberto upon arriving by the appointment setter. When I got there and asked for Roberto I was told he was not in that day and that the car I asked about was both not in stock and could not be ordered. Super frustrating experience. Just yesterday I purchased a vehicle from Vista BMW and I have to say that my experience was excellent. Granted, I had already done my homework and price shopping before I visited them so I knew exactly what I was buying and how much I was going to spend when I first stepped into their dealership (something I suggest everyone do). I had already test driven and gotten terms from another dealership that refused to provide me with competitive pricing or decent interest rate. After I left that dealership and went home, I spent a few days price shopping online which is when I determined exactly how much I should pay for the car. When I reached out to Vista BMW Pompano Beach, I was immediately connected with Martha Harris who was very eager to win my business. She not only stayed up super late (almost 10PM) to work out a deal with me over email, but she also allowed me to custom order the car exactly to my specifications. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. The next day, she connected me with her associate Pedro Acosta who helped me through all the paperwork necessary to close the financing. He was also an absolute pleasure to work with. After all this was done over the phone, I finally visited the dealer, double checked the exterior color I was ordering and paid the deposit. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I seriously wish all car buying experiences were this satisfying. Anyone else thinking of working with Vista BMW Pompano Beach should feel confident they are in good hands. I thought I would be treated with respect and was handed a $1000 bill for a minimum repair job. I would never recommend BMW service for the simple reason that the issue was known issue for any car with a sunroof. the drain hoses get clogged and then leak into to passenger compartment. If you google or youtube the fix it is simple and takes at the longest 2 hours if you have to take off the front tire to get the the drain hose to unclog from the bottom. The bill had no detail - just $900 + more charges to further insult us. $45 to throw away supplies? what supplies for this job? paper towel? They kept the car for 3 days and charged us to air out the car because the passenger side rug was damp. We had already vacuumed any moisture and they charged us for airing it out in the sun as they said they had to keep it another day because it wasn't sunny! We asked to be treated fair and Mike F. did the opposite. To make it worse, they shorted the battery and when told then the battery was dead, Mr. F said - " I can sell you a battery- talk about disrespecting the customer. Then they gave us a loaner and now I see a charge from $25 - what is that about. We had a full tank of gas ( we have gas receipt) and car had 3/4 tank. Maybe they tried to use the air conditioner to air out the car. I guess BMW service mgt will be happy with Mr F as he made them over $1000 , but I would never deal with BMW and especially Mike F. as he looked me right in the face and knew he just ripped me off and my GF who owns the car, didn't want to be unpleasant, so he took advantage of her kindness. read more

Service Department Very Dishonest. Told me over the phone that I had a Full Bumper to Bumper Warranty.  When I arrived at my 9 am appointment Johnathan was already stating it might not be covered because of "Salt in the Air" that causes the parts to fail - What? He explained "Salt in the Air" can cause the parts to break down and fail and that's not a Manufacturers defect. It turns out it was the rear trailing arm that broke, which clearly seems like a Manufacturers defect- instead he says " you must have run over something"  I wonder, Is someone training this guy to come up with these pitiful reasons?  Obviously I should have left when he explained that Salty Air probably caused the defect prior to the inspection.  I would never do business with this company again.  I should have went with my instincts and just taken it to German Autos in Pompano ( German Autos 3401 N.E. 6th Terrace Pompano Beach 954-781-9510) BMW Warranty = GIMMICK - No Integrity By the way it's a 2017 with 27k miles and never ran anything over. I had good experiences until recently here. Not sure if the " Vista" change caused the service to deteriorate exponentially. Dropped my car off on a Wednesday as I saw a warning sign on dashboard. Called Wednesday evening, Thursday, Friday, Saturday , Sunday and by Monday without any feedback on status I took my car back. I also saw that the mileage had increased over the period of leaving car and picking it up. I loathe zero communication. Level with me and offer alternatives. No car loaners were offered and the service manager did not even have the courtesy to call me after I took back my car. The service is abysmal and I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service at this branch of BMW. BMW head office need to review the lack of god customer service here. I also booked my appointment online with a very convoluted system. I was told when I arrived the first day that it was not recorded. Nobody answers the phone at this location.
