My purchase there in January 2026 was perfectly fine. Getting my new license plate was not fun, and required many calls and emails, but I finally got them the day that temps expired. But the reason I don't recommend JM Lexus revolves around the Service Department... I brought my Lexus RZ to JM Lexus in Margate on July 21st for its complimentary 6-month / 5,000-mile service. Because this is an electric vehicle, there are no oil changes, the tire rotation is literally the only physical maintenance task required for this visit, alongside a basic systems check and a recall software update. Knowing how service departments in South Florida can sometimes be, I took a precaution before dropping off my vehicle: I discreetly marked each tire in a different specific location with White-Out. Unfortunately, my caution proved completely justified. 1. The Maintenance That Wasn't Done After waiting about an hour and a half, my vehicle was brought out. Before driving off, I decided to double-check my tire marks. Not a single tire had been moved. They signed off on the service without actually performing the one single maintenance task required for the visit. When I brought this to the service department's attention and showed them my markings, there was no pushback--the proof was undeniable. They took the vehicle back to actually perform the rotation. The technician's excuse was that he didn't realize the tires needed to be rotated because "some RZs have staggered front and rear sizes." Every single tire on my vehicle clearly displays its size on the sidewall and you can plainly see all four are completely identical. Lexus should have detailed service Instructions and quality control checklists for every specific model and trim level. The fact that basic quality control checklists aren't even checked before signing off on work speaks volumes. 2. Interior Stains After waiting a second time for the rotation to be completed, I got back into my vehicle only to find grease and dirt stains smeared across my aftermarket leather floor mats, around the driver-side window buttons, and across the driver door speaker grille. While I don't know who specifically made the stains, it was very disappointing. To their credit, the staff apologized and had detailing clean the vehicle quickly, but it was yet another frustrating delay. 3. Recall Software Update & Unresolved Electronic Glitches Once the interior was cleaned, I finally left the dealership. As I drove, I immediately noticed a serious issue with the panoramic camera view: digital black boxes and corrupted artifacts were appearing under and around the vehicle in real-time while driving and backing up, presumably triggered by the recall software update. I turned right around and returned to the dealership for a third time. After attempting a full electronics reset and inspecting the cameras, the service team was unable to fix the issue. This glitch remains completely unresolved. They informed me it had to be escalated to a specialist (referred to as a "DS," whatever that is) for a future visit. To make matters worse, I was promised an email summary with a tracking case number by today, but true to form, I received nothing. What should have been a routine service visit turned into a multi-hour ordeal involving: -Skipped maintenance on the only physical service task required for an EV. -Interior stains that required an extra trip to detailing. -A corrupted camera system following a recall update that remains unfixed. -Zero follow-through on promised case documentation. My takeaway from this experience is that JM Lexus operates as such a high-volume dealership that basic attention to detail has been completely lost. From skipping basic maintenance to sloppy vehicle handling and unresolved tech glitches, they completely failed at basic quality control and customer communication. They have lost my trust entirely. I purchased a 2022 Lexus ES350 as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle expecting the quality, reliability, and customer service associated with the Lexus brand. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. Since 2025, I have been dealing with a recurring problem involving the driver's seat/memory system. The seat frequently does not return to my programmed position when I enter the vehicle, even though no one else has driven it. I often have to manually press the memory button to restore the correct position. What has been most frustrating is not simply the defect, but the amount of time and effort I have spent trying to get it resolved. I have brought the vehicle in for service approximately SEVEN TIMES. The problem has persisted despite those visits, and dealership personnel have witnessed the condition. Lexus also opened what was described to me as an internal "Lemon Law" evaluation. After months of dealing with the issue, Lexus ultimately sent me a written decision dated May 5, 2026 denying assistance because the concern "was not reported during the Lexus New Vehicle Limited Warranty period." That response was particularly frustrating because I purchased the vehicle as CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED, not as a new vehicle. I subsequently wrote to Lexus/Toyota requesting executive review and asking for either an equitable vehicle exchange or repurchase. I explained the repair history, the continuing defect, and my concerns about the reasoning given in the denial. I then sent another written follow-up when I did not receive a substantive response. The vehicle continues to have the same problem. I understand that mechanical and electronic problems can occur with any automobile. What determines my opinion of a manufacturer is how it responds when repeated attempts do not resolve the problem. After approximately seven service visits, months of communications, an internal corporate review, and multiple written escalation attempts, I expected Lexus to take ownership of the situation and work toward a meaningful resolution. That has not been my experience. I am posting this review so prospective Lexus buyers--particularly customers considering a Certified Pre-Owned Lexus--can take my experience into account when making their own decision. I have extensive documentation supporting my experience, including repair records, correspondence, and Lexus' written determination. I remain willing to resolve this matter directly and professionally with Lexus/Toyota. If Lexus ultimately steps forward and provides a fair resolution, I will update this review to reflect that outcome. Interesting experience this morning at JM Lexus very different than my other visits here. Purchased a couple Lexus vehicles here in the past with excellent service and no mechanical issues. Came here today with my brother to possibly purchase another Lexus. Its either going to be a Lexus or an Infinity. Took a stroll through the showroom bursting at the seams with new Lexus vehicles. We passed by a plethora of staff who were huddling together chatting or sitting at their desks without clients. Continued our walk of shame through the showroom to almost the opposite end still without any salesperson interaction - to say the least it was comical. We were ready to walk out, then an odd thing happened, a man (possibly a manager or a team leader) appeared and asked if he could assist us with a representative. My brother informed him that we just walked by several employees without contact. Within minutes, a salesman named German, who had good personality and a charismatic smile searched the database for a Lexus suv. No deals today at Lexus whether a purchase or lease at 7.5% interest rate. Best price given so negotiations are now prohibited. Great looking vehicles at high prices. They offer massage chairs in the service center waiting area which is a nice touch. The initial void with customer service today dropped the five star rating to a four, which is not common for Lexus based on my prior experiences. read more

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned ES350. I was skeptical of the 'no dealer fee' pricing policy they advertised, but was impressed to find out that it actually was straight forward. When I bought the car the JM sales guy, Alex, agreed to take care of a few minor items that needed attention and added them to the sales agreement. One of the items was replacing the felt insert in the bottom of a back door handle that was just missing. It was quite obvious and noticeable, so I was a little surprised that they missed it and put the car on the line for sale without taking care of it. I actually thought it was kind of embarrassing for them. I dropped the car off a week or so later for them to take care of the items we had discussed and they agreed to take care of. Everything they fixed looked great. However when I got on the highway going home I noticed the vibration from the front wheels was still there, so there was still an issue with front wheel balance that I had exchanged emails with Alex about. Then when I got home I realized that the felt insert for the rear door handle was still missing. I asked Alex about this and was told that he could order the part for me.. at a cost of $11.00 I questioned him about charging me for a part that he said he would get for me as part of our deal when I bought the car. He told me I would have to pay for it, blatantly reneging on our agreement. I was utterly flabbergasted with the lack of integrity, amazed that he wouldn't honor the deal we made, and couldn't believe he would alienated a new customer.. for an $11.00 part!! As I told Alex, that has to be the single worst business decision I've ever seen someone make! Not to mention he completely torpedoed the trust and respect that I had for him, and in turn the JM dealership. It obviously wasn't about the money.. but a matter of principle! Whether it was an $11 part, or an $1100 part, if you commit to getting one for a customer.. you really need to honor that commitment. After several contentious emails he relented and agreed to send me the part. It took a few weeks, and for some reason it didn't show up a couple times after it was supposedly mailed out, but I eventually got it. I also asked him about the front tire balance. He sent me a copy of an internal work order showing that it had (supposedly) been done as part of the certified pre-owned process, and told me I could drop it off to have the balance checked but I would be charged for any work that was done. He was adamant that the tires were not out of balance.. because his internal documents said so. Forget the pesky little detail.. that there was a vibration in the car. It must be ok since his paperwork said so. Maybe it was a figment of my imagination. I was tired of dealing with him, and quite frankly the bullsh*t and aggravation.. so I took the car to a local tire shop and had the front tires balanced. The problem (that Alex insisted I didn't have) was solved, the vibration was gone. $100 out of my pocket. I emailed that info to Alex, he said it was "terrific". Bottom line.. Alex / JM reneged on their agreement to replace a missing $11.00 part. For that and $100.00 worth of tire balancing (that Alex / JM insisted had been correctly done and therefore was unnecessary) this dealership lost my trust.. and my business. Well done Alex, very impressive!! Great reflection of JM! Alex and several other JM staff members told me multiple times about what great friends they were going to be. They'd definitely be keeping in touch, I'd be inundated with their calls and emails. Well that didn't happen either. I had to contact upper management and go through their finance people to get the info on extended warrantees that Alex was supposed to send me. And surprisingly enough, I never got the customer satisfaction survey either. Maybe if you don't send one to anyone that may have a had less than 5 star experience, you get more 5 star ratings? read more

First contact I made was with Camille over the phone, as I lived an hour and a half north of the dealership. She was prompt in getting information for me about the car I was interested in, and even had someone send me more pictures of it right away. Her communication was excellent. Then I was in touch with Andrew, who is the BEST car salesman I have EVER met. He was HONEST, KNOWLEDGEABLE, QUICK, and made the entire process so easy. He had the car ready to go when we got there, and let me drive the car. He was not pushy at all, like some salesman can be. I will never go to another dealership besides JM Lexus. Although I bought a used Mazda from them (which I LOVE), I can definitely say my next vehicle may be a Lexus, because of how amazing the experience was. No haggling, no adding on extra prices, no BS. After driving my new all-electric 2026 Lexus RZ 350e for a few months I had a list of questions to ask the dealer, JM Lexus. Because some of these questions involved things in the Lexus app, I thought it best to get my answers in person so I made an appointment with my sales person for Thursday at 2 PM. On Thursday morning the salesman confirmed my appointment via text which I confirmed. I arrived a few minutes early and the receptionist said she would call him and I should just have a seat. After waiting patiently for 30 minutes, at 2:30 I got up to leave and the receptionist said she would call another tech specialist who was just coming back from break. I replied that I had another appointment and had to leave. Can't seem to understand, if the man with whom I had the appointment was going to be tied up for that long, why I wasn't informed. In addition, if there was another person who was "on break" why they didn't set me up with him? Horrible customer service from JM. To top everything off, when I got home I sent the dealership a message via their contact us page detailing all of the above and shortly after that received a text message thanking me for my interest in a new vehicle! Shortly after that, I received a phone call which I was hoping would be an apology. But no, it was the same sales person who texted me (not the one I had the appointment with) who was eager to sell me a new car. I replied that I had just purchased one from them and their system must be pretty horrible if my complaint email ended up in the hands of a sales person rather than the complaint department (if there is one). At this point I have lost all faith in this dealership. Spoke to a neighbor who purchased from Lexus of Pembroke Pines and said they have always gone there and are always treated well. When you purchase a vehicle here, the sales staff is of course friendly. But when you later visit the service department in following years some of the employees in service are beyond unfriendly. My last visit to service was the single most unfriendly experience I've ever had at a dealership service department in my life and I'm 65. STAY AWAY!! Shady and unprofessional. When I got my second Lexus from this dealer they failed to transfer the title of my old car this made it look as though I still owned my old car but didn't have insurance on it. Because of this the State of Florida threatened to suspend my license I spoke to Lexus about this issue they assured me it was resolved however it wasn't and my license suspended. Mistakes happen but they failed to take any ownership of their part and even gave me attitude as if it was my fault. During this process the car was totaled in an accident which it was worth more than I owed on it. But the salesman Paul just talk to me like I was an idiot trying to convince me leases don't build equity. Anyone with a brain knows that leases build equity and according to Geico I have about 4,000 Equity built into that car. And for Lexus to pretend that I don't have Equity or that I can't build it in this lease is extremely egregious. For those out there that don't know because of salesman like Paul, you can build equity in a lease depending on the market and the payoff number. I have received checks numerous times from equity in my leases, the problem is most people don't realize this because think it's rolled over into a new lease.Dont trust this place they're trying to Swindle me out 4,000 dollars. read more

If you don't like to negotiate prices this is the place for you. The whole car buying experience was quick and professional. I initially came in for a RX350, Al was very good at listening and picked up my desire to tow a very small boat with the vehicle. After test driving the RX350, he pointed me in the direction of the GX460 2023. Last year the car was made, hooked up with Apple car play and... the ability to tow 6000lbs. As soon as I got behind the wheel, I knew it was the car. Normally at other dealerships you have to contain your excitement otherwise you can expect that price to go up. It was a relief to be at JM Lexus where I knew the posted price, was the price, it's the way car buying should be. You get a good salesman, they listen, let you try out what you came in for and recommend based off what you talk about. I had a very poor experience at this Lexus dealership with a classic bait-and-switch. I called in both the day before and morning-of to get a spec sheet with both the price and out-the-door price in writing and then when I went to the dealership, they told me that they were putting accessories on that would increase the cost of the vehicle. If I had known this, I wouldn't have gone in the first place. The sales people themselves were friendly, but the overall experience was very disappointing and not what I would expect from a dealership, much less a supposedly luxury brand like Lexus. read more

Called early Saturday afternoon and spoke to Enrique in service. He was personable, friendly and direct with providing options to replace four tires. I shared I would need a loaner, and that they could make it happen immediately. I was thrilled. They mentioned this service would take 2 - 3 hours and thought this would be great to have the car back Monday. You can't miss it on Sample Road and pulling into the service area, looked grand, clean and welcoming. I was welcomed immediately at the service bay and my car was checked in. I was guided to the guest area to sit and wait to be called. After waiting 40 minutes, I went around to the front to ask for an update on Xavier. He was at lunch and nobody mentioned that upon my arrival or offered another consultant to help. After 10 more minutes, I was greeted by Chico who kindly sat me at his area, and spent a minute to collect my license, car insurance card and credit card to process the loaner. I was asked to wait again in the seating area while someone would call me again for a loaner. I'm at 10min it's of waiting again without an update. Will update review again along this experience...alright. There's a team member who goes to a queue with folders containing the guests cards - they're picked up and informed the loaner is in process and about 2 minutes from that notification you're escorted to walk around the loaner, sign off and go on your way. It's Tuesday middle of the day and called JM. After speaking with Xavier, he shared the car is in the queue and still hasn't been started as they prioritize guests waiting and had to clear their backlog of cars from the weekend. It feels a bit of bait and switch - starting the experience on a high and then dwindle as the experience continues. I'm surprised as my first impression was really high. On Thursday, I received a voicemail while at work from Matt O'Brien, a customer service manager after he read this review. I left him a voicemail and look forward to the conversation. Shortly thereafter, Xavier left a voicemail sharing the car was ready. Upon my drive back home from work, I went by. It was pretty empty (near close time), Xavier was quick and helpful. I left the lot not really knowing anything about my new car. I'm slowly figuring it all out by myself..... at least I think I am! After filling out a survey honestly I received a call from a sales manager and he was very nice and said all the right things to appease me. I did have a minor issue for which I went to the service part. The manager there was exceptionally kind and offered to teach me what I should have been taught. He offered much more assistance than my sales rep and because of him I will continue to get my service there. I was actually considering using another Lexus dealer. I am now a fan of the dealership. Almost everyone went out of their way to see that my needs were met. And......they have great cars! read more

Follow up post from 3/28/25. I sent an email to Danny Nieves as suggested. Danny said he will call me back to discuss. This was over a month ago. Reconfirms they do not strive to provide honest and reliable service and my satisfaction and safety is not their top priority. This has consistently been the service I've received for 3 years. My SUV was having difficulty starting yesterday. I assumed it was the battery and was correct. Came in for my free battery replacement. It is under their lifetime warranty program. They honor it but the battery must be pretty low in strength. I think this is the fifth battery I have gotten with the program. I don't believe they offer this promotion any longer to new customers unfortunately. Jim Bramble, my service advisor is very nice and very honest and straightforward.
