Interesting experience this morning at JM Lexus very different than my other visits here. Purchased a couple Lexus vehicles here in the past with excellent service and no mechanical issues. Came here today with my brother to possibly purchase another Lexus. Its either going to be a Lexus or an Infinity. Took a stroll through the showroom bursting at the seams with new Lexus vehicles. We passed by a plethora of staff who were huddling together chatting or sitting at their desks without clients. Continued our walk of shame through the showroom to almost the opposite end still without any salesperson interaction - to say the least it was comical. We were ready to walk out, then an odd thing happened, a man (possibly a manager or a team leader) appeared and asked if he could assist us with a representative. My brother informed him that we just walked by several employees without contact. Within minutes, a salesman named German, who had good personality and a charismatic smile searched the database for a Lexus suv. No deals today at Lexus whether a purchase or lease at 7.5% interest rate. Best price given so negotiations are now prohibited. Great looking vehicles at high prices. They offer massage chairs in the service center waiting area which is a nice touch. The initial void with customer service today dropped the five star rating to a four, which is not common for Lexus based on my prior experiences. read more

When you purchase a vehicle here, the sales staff is of course friendly. But when you later visit the service department in following years some of the employees in service are beyond unfriendly. My last visit to service was the single most unfriendly experience I've ever had at a dealership service department in my life and I'm 65. I'm actually looking forward to my Lexus becoming over six years old so I can be out of engine warranty and feel comfortable about servicing the car at a better place. read more

First contact I made was with Camille over the phone, as I lived an hour and a half north of the dealership. She was prompt in getting information for me about the car I was interested in, and even had someone send me more pictures of it right away. Her communication was excellent. Then I was in touch with Andrew, who is the BEST car salesman I have EVER met. He was HONEST, KNOWLEDGEABLE, QUICK, and made the entire process so easy. He had the car ready to go when we got there, and let me drive the car. He was not pushy at all, like some salesman can be. I will never go to another dealership besides JM Lexus. Although I bought a used Mazda from them (which I LOVE), I can definitely say my next vehicle may be a Lexus, because of how amazing the experience was. No haggling, no adding on extra prices, no BS. I recently purchased a certified pre-owned ES350. I was skeptical of the 'no dealer fee' pricing policy they advertised, but was impressed to find out that it actually was straight forward. When I bought the car the JM sales guy, Alex, agreed to take care of a few minor items that needed attention and added them to the sales agreement. One of the items was replacing the felt insert in the bottom of a back door handle that was just missing. It was quite obvious and noticeable, so I was a little surprised that they missed it and put the car on the line for sale without taking care of it. I actually thought it was kind of embarrassing for them. I dropped the car off a week or so later for them to take care of the items we had discussed and they agreed to take care of. Everything they fixed looked great. However when I got on the highway going home I noticed the vibration from the front wheels was still there, so there was still an issue with front wheel balance that I had exchanged emails with Alex about. Then when I got home I realized that the felt insert for the rear door handle was still missing. I asked Alex about this and was told that he could order the part for me.. at a cost of $11.00 I questioned him about charging me for a part that he said he would get for me as part of our deal when I bought the car. He told me I would have to pay for it, blatantly reneging on our agreement. I was utterly flabbergasted with the lack of integrity, amazed that he wouldn't honor the deal we made, and couldn't believe he would alienated a new customer.. for an $11.00 part!! As I told Alex, that has to be the single worst business decision I've ever seen someone make! Not to mention he completely torpedoed the trust and respect that I had for him, and in turn the JM dealership. It obviously wasn't about the money.. but a matter of principle! Whether it was an $11 part, or an $1100 part, if you commit to getting one for a customer.. you really need to honor that commitment. After several contentious emails he relented and agreed to send me the part. It took a few weeks, and for some reason it didn't show up a couple times after it was supposedly mailed out, but I eventually got it. I also asked him about the front tire balance. He sent me a copy of an internal work order showing that it had (supposedly) been done as part of the certified pre-owned process, and told me I could drop it off to have the balance checked but I would be charged for any work that was done. He was adamant that the tires were not out of balance.. because his internal documents said so. Forget the pesky little detail.. that there was a vibration in the car. It must be ok since his paperwork said so. Maybe it was a figment of my imagination. I was tired of dealing with him, and quite frankly the bullsh*t and aggravation.. so I took the car to a local tire shop and had the front tires balanced. The problem (that Alex insisted I didn't have) was solved, the vibration was gone. $100 out of my pocket. I emailed that info to Alex, he said it was "terrific". Bottom line.. Alex / JM reneged on their agreement to replace a missing $11.00 part. For that and $100.00 worth of tire balancing (that Alex / JM insisted had been correctly done and therefore was unnecessary) this dealership lost my trust.. and my business. Well done Alex, very impressive!! Great reflection of JM! Alex and several other JM staff members told me multiple times about what great friends they were going to be. They'd definitely be keeping in touch, I'd be inundated with their calls and emails. Well that didn't happen either. I had to contact upper management and go through their finance people to get the info on extended warrantees that Alex was supposed to send me. And surprisingly enough, I never got the customer satisfaction survey either. Maybe if you don't send one to anyone that may have a had less than 5 star experience, you get more 5 star ratings? read more

After driving my new all-electric 2026 Lexus RZ 350e for a few months I had a list of questions to ask the dealer, JM Lexus. Because some of these questions involved things in the Lexus app, I thought it best to get my answers in person so I made an appointment with my sales person for Thursday at 2 PM. On Thursday morning the salesman confirmed my appointment via text which I confirmed. I arrived a few minutes early and the receptionist said she would call him and I should just have a seat. After waiting patiently for 30 minutes, at 2:30 I got up to leave and the receptionist said she would call another tech specialist who was just coming back from break. I replied that I had another appointment and had to leave. Can't seem to understand, if the man with whom I had the appointment was going to be tied up for that long, why I wasn't informed. In addition, if there was another person who was "on break" why they didn't set me up with him? Horrible customer service from JM. To top everything off, when I got home I sent the dealership a message via their contact us page detailing all of the above and shortly after that received a text message thanking me for my interest in a new vehicle! Shortly after that, I received a phone call which I was hoping would be an apology. But no, it was the same sales person who texted me (not the one I had the appointment with) who was eager to sell me a new car. I replied that I had just purchased one from them and their system must be pretty horrible if my complaint email ended up in the hands of a sales person rather than the complaint department (if there is one). At this point I have lost all faith in this dealership. Spoke to a neighbor who purchased from Lexus of Pembroke Pines and said they have always gone there and are always treated well. JM, you have lost a customer and perhaps more after this is posted. read more

I had a very poor experience at this Lexus dealership with a classic bait-and-switch. I called in both the day before and morning-of to get a spec sheet with both the price and out-the-door price in writing and then when I went to the dealership, they told me that they were putting accessories on that would increase the cost of the vehicle. If I had known this, I wouldn't have gone in the first place. The sales people themselves were friendly, but the overall experience was very disappointing and not what I would expect from a dealership, much less a supposedly luxury brand like Lexus. read more

Called early Saturday afternoon and spoke to Enrique in service. He was personable, friendly and direct with providing options to replace four tires. I shared I would need a loaner, and that they could make it happen immediately. I was thrilled. They mentioned this service would take 2 - 3 hours and thought this would be great to have the car back Monday. You can't miss it on Sample Road and pulling into the service area, looked grand, clean and welcoming. I was welcomed immediately at the service bay and my car was checked in. I was guided to the guest area to sit and wait to be called. After waiting 40 minutes, I went around to the front to ask for an update on Xavier. He was at lunch and nobody mentioned that upon my arrival or offered another consultant to help. After 10 more minutes, I was greeted by Chico who kindly sat me at his area, and spent a minute to collect my license, car insurance card and credit card to process the loaner. I was asked to wait again in the seating area while someone would call me again for a loaner. I'm at 10min it's of waiting again without an update. Will update review again along this experience...alright. There's a team member who goes to a queue with folders containing the guests cards - they're picked up and informed the loaner is in process and about 2 minutes from that notification you're escorted to walk around the loaner, sign off and go on your way. It's Tuesday middle of the day and called JM. After speaking with Xavier, he shared the car is in the queue and still hasn't been started as they prioritize guests waiting and had to clear their backlog of cars from the weekend. It feels a bit of bait and switch - starting the experience on a high and then dwindle as the experience continues. I'm surprised as my first impression was really high. On Thursday, I received a voicemail while at work from Matt O'Brien, a customer service manager after he read this review. I left him a voicemail and look forward to the conversation. Shortly thereafter, Xavier left a voicemail sharing the car was ready. Upon my drive back home from work, I went by. It was pretty empty (near close time), Xavier was quick and helpful. I bought a car there about a month ago. I happen to love the car but I just didn't love my salesman. Perhaps our personalities just didn't mesh! I left the lot not really knowing anything about my new car. I'm slowly figuring it all out by myself..... at least I think I am! After filling out a survey honestly I received a call from a sales manager and he was very nice and said all the right things to appease me. I did have a minor issue for which I went to the service part. The manager there was exceptionally kind and offered to teach me what I should have been taught. He offered much more assistance than my sales rep and because of him I will continue to get my service there. I was actually considering using another Lexus dealer. I am now a fan of the dealership. I experienced a situation where the finance manager had two pieces of paper. One with a fake payoff and another with the real payoff. Fortunately I had the numbers with me in possession and avoided a costly misdirection. Leasing a new car here was a pleasure. HOWEVER. Since JM Lexus owns the entire distribution channel, Florida Lexus dealers are prohibited from obtaining their own financing. Instead you have to go to their dealer and pay marked up interest rates and other junk fees. Leading up to this point, they incessantly call and text you trying to get a new car despite opting out. Once you get to the dealership they try to sell you non-Lexus warranties and hard sell you with urgency despite declining politely multiple times. A process that should only take 15 minutes is drawn out for almost two hours. This Lexus may have the designation of priority when getting a new car, but they use the same tactics as any other dealer when you try and get something done that's to your advantage. Now as a Tesla owner, I will never return to this model of client service. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at JM Lexus. I was just in a very bad car accident that totaled my 1-year-old NX350. Naturally I went back to JM to get a new car. By the way this would have been my fourth Lexus in a row and my second with JM Lexus.The best they would do for me was if I put down $7000 I could replace my car and pay $610 a month. If I wanted the hybrid version it was 650 ish.To me that is outrageous. When I spoke with the finance manager he said we do not think loyalty should be shown in dollars But instead wanted to give me a gift certificate to eat at Ruth's Chris. I just saw a friend of mine who just got her second Lexus with JM and guess what she was given a $200 give certificate, So I guess money does talk.
