For anyone out there who is looking for a shop to work on your car...from a VW to a Porsche or a Jaguar like I have, this is your place. I started using Atlantic Motors of Pompano a little over a year ago. I take pride and love to have someone do the same when they work on my car. I guess what I like most is the owner Al's attention to details. I love to have a shop look and see things that look worn or will break soon and repair it while it's already there. I picked up my car last week from a very difficult and expensive repair which Al kept in touch with phone calls and photos of what was needed. My car looked and ran like a Jaguar! I moved to Pompano last year and wouldn't you know my engine light went on .. Then she was being finicky about starting. : / I'm very particular about who works on my baby (Porsche 911) but it need love ASAP. I didn't want to risk and driving to my other mechanic. I'd passed by Atlantic Motors in the neighborhood. I knew they specialized in imports and I always see nice cars at the shop. So, I called them up and Al squeaked me right in. What's more, the service was fantastic, priced great and Al got me zipping down then road again!! : ) BTW, I saw the bad review about them being rude. I don't believe that .. In fact l've been back a few times, once just to say hi, everyone there is awesome. read more

I took my car to this shop were right away they diagnosed my car and gave me a verbal estimate of about 2,500 I wanted a second opinion but the shop owner Al guaranteed that they will give me a warranty and i won't have anymore problems with my car. I agreed 4 days later they gave me my car back within a day of having the car it was shaking over heating the light of low oil was coming up . When I took the car back to the shop they claimed that my car did not have oil but I just had a oil change a week prior now he claims that is my engine and that it might be more money after paying them 3,039.34 they claim that within a day of only driving 13 miles my car developed a new problem. If you are a women they will rip you off. He now has my car just to diagnose it with another problem after just giving them 3,000.00 Yes!!! I will keep you updated he claims that my car is NOT a priority anymore so I will have to wait for him to have time to fix it read more

I brought my truck in to fix an extended crank issue. It had trouble starting in the mornings. The owner and manager were very nice. Long story short....after paying $1,888 dollars, the problem was not fixed. So I have a tuned up truck that runs great, once it finally starts, but the issue that I brought the truck in to get fixed was never fixed. His team of mechanics could not properly diagnose my problem and therefore could not fix it. So I'm out $1,888 and my truck still has problems starting in the morning. Hopefully I can find someone else that is able to fix my truck's issue. I hate paying for guess work. To summarize, $1,888 are gone from my bank account and my truck is still broke. -Scott B UPDATE: I followed up with Al the owner. His shop could not fix my truck, so I asked him if we could come to an agreement that we both could live with, since it was apparent that neither of us was going to be happy with the outcome. I suggested he refund the labor charges and I only pay for the parts that he installed because none of these parts fixed the problem that I brought the truck in for in the first place. He became angry and started SCREAMING at me on the phone. I am sorry that it has come to this. I am very disappointed with my experience at Atlantic Motors. )-: It was a tough week. While he was screaming he said to bring the truck in and he would have his mechanics put my old parts back on and refund my money. I do not want his shop touching my truck at this point, so this was not an acceptable option for me. He did not offer to refund any part of the labor for the unnecessary repairs that were performed on my truck. Again to summarize, $1,888 are gone from my bank account and my truck is still broke. Very bad service rude, repairs requested were not completed. I brought my vehicle in because it wasn't switching gears and air conditioner didn't work and a tank was bubbling so assumed it was over heating the temperature gauge wasn't working I didn't know if was overheating but I also did not know the temperature gauge wasn't working. I know nothing about cars. The owner was very rude during the entire process. he fixed the water pump and when he returned the vehicle it had the same exact problems I brought it in for. when I returned the car questioning his repairs he . yelled at me and Said he did what I asked 1000 dollars later the car still has the same problem he was not even willing to listen to me and screaming he did not fix the problem I brought it in for. I have a Range Rover Hse that I absolutely love! It's in mint shape and I'm always cautious where I take it to get work done! Unfortunately the engine blew! So after shopping my truck around the area, I came across Al and his team. The gave my truck a look over and I was quoted $7300. It ended up costing me around $11,000 when it was all said and done. Naturally I wasn't too excited about the price difference in the estimate but when these guys got the engine to place in my truck they didn't like the way it looked. So they got me a better engine along with replacing a lot of old hoses with newer ones. All in all these guys were GREAT! They were polite and always kept me updated on the status of my vehicle. If you want your vehicle to be fixed properly these are the best guys in town! My truck has been running great and I will continue using them in the future and bring them business! read more

Beware! I took my car in for a nail in the tire and they ransacked my car. They went though every compartment, stole all the change then drove around with my own vehicle to pick me up. Randy offered to remove $3 from the bill for the stolen change. Randy might have made it an even $5 if they wrecked my car driving it around to pick me up. read more
