I had no idea until my car started losing power. When I went back, they admitted it was their mistake but refused to take real responsibility or refund me. I sat there between 2:30 and 5:00 p.m. while employees walked around my car, talking to each other but never giving me updates or acknowledging me directly. I had to track down the manager myself just to get answers. Instead of owning up to their negligence, they tried to charge me again. This location is careless, dismissive, and clearly avoids accountability. They would rather gaslight their customers than make the moment right. One of the service members informed me that my vehicle had a small leak and quoted me a service charge of $2300 to repair the leak. I took my vehicle to a reputable auto mechanic to have the leak analyze, they did a full analysis of my vehicle and informed me that they did not identify a leak and Jiffy Lube may have tried to charge me $2300 to repair a leak that did not exist. Watch out for this Jiffy Lube because they will try to charge you for repairs that are not required.

I was secretly hoping one or more tires were under-inflated and just needed air. I went into the lobby of Tire Plus where I was greeted by a male employee. After explaining the situation, I asked if one of the technicians could put air in all four tires. I was told to pull up by the bay and someone would take care of it. Within a few minutes, air was added to all four tires. When the tire pressure warning light went out, I noticed in the side mirror that the technician was inspecting the back right tire, and I already suspected what he was going to tell me when he approached the driver's side door. I sighed heavily as I followed the technician, only to see the little culprit that immediately ruined my mood. I was recommended to replace the tire, resulting in another heavy sigh, as I just replaced one that got a nail in it last month. I didn't have time to get the tire replaced at the moment, so I made an appointment for the next two days... fast forward two days and 90 minutes; I'm back cruising on the road. I noticed I was not charged for the service, which I sincerely appreciate.

To Whom It May Concern:…read more I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience at Tires Plus and the inspection performed on my vehicle. I brought my vehicle to this location because it was shaking while driving. I clearly explained the issue to Rick and also informed him that I had recently purchased four new tires. Rick advised me to leave my vehicle so that it could be inspected and told me that I would be contacted with the results. After the inspection, I was given an extremely high estimate and told that my vehicle needed several services and repairs. I was very concerned by the amount quoted and decided not to move forward with the recommended work. The following day, I took my vehicle elsewhere for another evaluation. I discovered that the shaking was simply due to the tires needing to be balanced. I paid only $30 for a tire balance, and the shaking issue was resolved. This raises serious concerns about the accuracy and integrity of the inspection I receive

Very impressed with our experience with Vertical Automotive. This mechanic was probably the only…read moremechanic in the entire county of Broward that would agree to work on a full EV. My husband's Nissan Leaf was experiencing AC issues and we were quoted an astronomical amount of money by the dealership to fix a what we thought was a small repair. Majority, if not all all of the non-dealership repair shops refused to work on a full EV's as they do not have the required qualifications. Reece from Vertical was super nice and very reassuring on my first phone call that they not only have the certification with the experience to do so. It was very easy to bring in and drop it off our vehicle. All of the staff we encountered was very friendly. They took about 2 to 3 days to diagnose the issue. It turns out that there really wasn't an issue to begin with, even though the dealership was convinced we had some sort of line leak. They ran a test that the dealership didn't even offer us to run. And determined that the AC was working normally it just needed a little bit of time to warm up ironically. Upon picking up my vehicle, the mechanic that worked on it actually recommended that we get the windows tinted, which would help with the AC since it's been so hot. He said that EV's run a little differently than gas vehicles when it comes to the AC. They even offered for us to bring the vehicle back if we were experiencing the same issue again. Overall, I highly recommend Vertical Auto. They are conveniently located on Oakland Park Boulevard and I-95. I will definitely be returning to them for our future mechanic related needs.

I found Sal's on Yelp and called ahead to see if they had time to check out my car, and they did. When I got in, CJ was very welcoming and had Kevin take a look immediately. Within 5 minutes, there was a diagnosis and the quote was more than fair. Upon further inspection as the work was being done, it turned out I had another problem that couldn't be seen, initially, and was only found because they went an extra step further to ensure my car's safety and the life of the repair they were doing for me. CJ took the time to show me the worn down parts and the adjusted rate for the additional repairs was also more than fair. I waited in the coziest, air-conditioned lounge decorated with antique cars, trains, art and furniture pieces. Once the repairs were finished, Kevin did a double check by taking my car out for a short drive and made adjustments to ensure that all was well before I drove off. These guys are thorough and really care that everything is done just right. After all was said and done, I was out in about 2.5 hours with a safer car, and a feeling that I got much more than I paid for. Their synthetic oil change is too expensive according to other shops. I think 65-69 would be a good price for synthetic oil change. Some of the workers there are very friendly but some of them are not very friendly. Some of them don't speak English (maybe this is why). I don't know if I will come back there to change my oil or something else. I will think about it. One thing I think they should be: FRIENDLIER. Also avoid asking costumers inappropriate questions (ex: personal questions). I will give 3 stars, because the place is nice and they are very quick doing the job. But the oil change still expensive and they need to be friendlier.
