Meat was clean this time. Asked for basil. Same as before. But I will say that it is easy for pho places to start up in place like garden grove or mpk. That shit is easy. But to start up in Compton. This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I treated myself to a flank steak bowl for breakfast. The atmosphere was nice and the owners were charming. The pho at this establishment is different than what I'm used to, but delicious just the same. Traditional pho tends to be subtle and I usually end up adding a ton of Hoisin and Sriracha. This pho was more aromatic and savory due to the shallots and garlic present in the broth. I really enjoyed this take on traditional comfort food. So it's different...more like a Thai kind of soup rather than true traditional pho. They don't even have a rare steak option. I can see how some people might like it but it was VERY mediocre at best. Then, I went to pay with my card and they have a $1.50 charge if your order is less than $15!!! Ummmm, no. Sorry, check the calendar. Most people pay with a card and you need to talk to your bank about the charges they have, don't hit your customers. A bowl of soup and a coke cost almost $15. Be prepared. read more

My first time here today, they sit in the dining room which makes it a weird atmosphere since the place is so small so it feels uncomfortable to be eating there while being watched by the workers. It's a local place which is why I wanted to try it out, but the broth was really sweet... which didn't sit well. I wish I'd be able to come back but Gardena would still be the place for me to get my pho. Maybe later on I'll give it another try. The Thai iced tea tasted a bit off but the Thai iced tea coconut was actually good. The basil wasn't fresh, it was already browning as well. And it was two of us but yet only gave us one piece. After coming again and trying the veggie pho I can safely say that the veggie pho here is actually delicious. I was being a little harsh on my last review, I guess I had to try other items before discrediting the place entirely. The service was definitely better, the young lady who greeted us was glad to see us and made me and my other brother ( A big fan of phat noodle) feel welcomed. We were regular customers, the food is good but the customer service is the worst. We had placed an order to go so when we checked our order we had no hoisin sauce we kindly let the cashier know who I believe is the owner that we had no hoisin sauce she argued with us that it's in the bag, then we showed her still didn't believe us then she had the nerve to say "well I saw you put it in your purse" we were puzzled like ARE YOU SERIOUS? who steals hoisin sauce I even told her check your cameras and she just had a smirk on her face talked to the chef in her language and eventually gave us the sauce. I tried this place on a whim. My mind was blown at how delicious it is and how close to my house this is. It's a little treasure that i found. They give you plenty of noodles, the meat tasted so fresh and cooked to perfection. The customer service was excellent the people there were so nice and so sweet. They always visited me and we would always have Pho by my house in Fullerton because there wasn't anything good around here. My mom and dad went. Loved it. My family have been eyeing this place out. Finally got to try it. It was delicious. We all enjoyed and finished every drop of it ! Great flavors & great customer service. A suggestion, i would really recommend bringing in items like fried rice, spring rolls, and egg rolls. The original spot we usually go to in La Mirada is too far and thats usually something we always grab when we eat our pho. Just a suggestion though! It's a nice, newly built restaurant. The whole staff is incredibly nice. I've never come across such excellent service. They were super attentive to my mother and I. The food came quick, fresh and hot. The bread you dip in the broth was bomb. We were given complimentary green tea and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I got the beef one and the owner told me they import the beef from austrailia. My mom got the veggie one and loved it.
