In deciding to explore the…read moreproblem I read peoples' reviews on Facebook and wrote down the names of over 10 roofers in the area. Then I narrowed my selections by checking their Yelp reviews. I called 5 of them and waited for responses. A manager at Golden Group was the first to respond. I made an appointment with him on the following Saturday and by then 3 others had responded and met me on that day. Long story short: I chose Golden Group and am still pleased I did. They finished the job in 2 days with a large, industrious crew who were incredibly hardworking and did a wonderful job cleaning up. They found the leakage problem under the old shingles on rotting planks of wood which they replaced before adding new shingles. It looks so much better and I would use Golden Group again!

I found Brightstar through a friend who used them a couple years ago. I'm so glad I did! Jon came…read moreand did a site visit and gave us an estimate. I really appreciated his honest, straightforward, no-BS approach. He worked with our town and ENE to put together a proposal that was a really great match for our needs, finances, available incentives, etc. He answered all of our questions and there weren't any real hiccups. Jon actually found a way to get the system installed a bit earlier than originally planned, and worked with us to find a solution when our financing wasn't ready as fast as he was! I'm an engineer, but I'm not a solar expert. After a bit of reading and a few proposals, I have a sense for when the truth takes a back seat to the sales pitch. I never felt that way with Brightstar. I really got the feeling Jon was on my team, not just slinging panels. For example, we were curious about battery storage, but Jon steered us clear (for the moment!) because the price and performance just aren't there yet. I recommend Jon and Mona to friends and family in the highest terms!

Believe the reviews, Isaksen is phenomenal! After conversations with 8 different solar installers…read moreIsaksen stood high above them all across the board. I was immediately connected to a human vs. an AI bot and have been guided through the process by the entire way. Randi had been my trusted guide and has been incredibly transparent the entire way. From the honest sales, pricing, and "human-centered" payment structure their approach to sales and support truly sets them apart. My install was smoother than I could've imagined and the install crew was informative, honest, and methodical in their set-up and clean-up. Deepest thanks to Cody, Jay, Mike, and Sean for getting us set up and running. Highly highly recommend and would work with them again.

After doing a little research and asking around we chose to go to with Isaksen Solar and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! From the very first consultation to the final installation, our experience was excellent. They took the time to explain the process in detail, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt confident in my decision to make the change to solar. The installation crew was on time, respectful, and worked great together. They completed the work on schedule and left the working areas exactly the way it was when they arrived. I couldn't be happier with how easily the system was integrated with my home, both aesthetically and functionally as seen in the pictures. Their whole team outdid themselves with their commitment to me as a customer from start to finish. They followed up after the installation to ensure everything was running smoothly and that I understood how to monitor my system's productivity. If you're considering solar, Isaksen is definitely the way to go! They made the entire process easy, transparent, and worry-free.

I thoroughly researched and ultimately met with three solar installers based in RI. Sol Power was…read moremy top choice mainly due to the upfront work they completed to design a system that met my needs. This included explaining the various programs in RI, time on the roof where the panels would be installed and surveying the property to give me an idea of what trees would eventually need to come down. They designed and installed a 13.2 kW array consisting of 33 400 W panels, 2 SolarEdge inverters, 2 LG 13kW batteries, upgraded service to a 200 Amp SPAN smart panel, critter guard and new wiring for a Heat Pump and ceiling heater/fan. They also decommissioned and removed an existing thermal panel for hot water and managed the applications for grants, net metering and connected solutions. The installation work went well, and the system was operational (producing energy) in September 2022. The real test of a company is their ability to service the installed system. This is where the Sol Power team really shines and has proven to be outstanding! Over the last two years, they have been exceptional in their ability to keep the system up and running. Whether it be a software update or mechanical issue, they have always been quick to respond to correct any issues. Finally, they have a cooperative ownership model which instills a sense of pride in their work that shows through and in my estimation has yielded a very cohesive and highly effective team. Their level of expertise and their professionalism has been outstanding and they have proven to be a real partner. So much so that I have engaged with them on a second project for an array on a garage. I highly recommend them.
