Josh's estimate was very reasonable, and when compared to another estimate I got, it was a no brainer who'd get the job. Even though I ended up adding more work once they were here, the increase in expense was handled with fairness. All this work was done by two electricians each day over the course of one afternoon and one morning. Everyone (Ryan, Tyler, and Tyler) was very professional, efficient, polite, and conscientious. They answered all my questions with confidence and clear knowledge, offered suggestions when I had a choice to make, and cleaned up before leaving each day. They took notes on what needed to be done on their return after the weekend, and came prepared. I also appreciated that I got text messages alerting me of the appointment and that they were on the way, and I liked that Josh emailed me the estimate and final invoice, and secure payment was done right through the email with a simple withdrawal from my checking account. Josh was responsive in getting back to me, from requesting a quote, to follow up after the work was complete. Electrician/Tech Jim arrived on time and after looking at my problem, decided replacing the burnt solenoid in my transfer switch was not the ultimate fix - the actual assembly was at issue. He called the office and I followed up with Lisa to order the needed part. Upon receipt of the part, Jim was rescheduled and again was on time. He replaced the assembly, tested the generator to ensure it did indeed take and transfer the load as designed. I did not need to pay at the end of his visit - but was billed ~ a week later. I used C & T Electric for over 17 years for servicing my generator. I spent over $5000 on service…read moreover that time and had been happy with the service. I paid $250 for routine service in mid June 2020. I asked the tech how much life I had left in this generator and was told it was burning and leaking a little oil but that I still had several more years. In Aug 2020 we had a storm and we lost power and auto Generac generator came on but was heavily smoking. Contacted C & T and they told me to turn off and tried to troubleshoot over phone to no avail. We left off that they would come out to evaluate the next day. They next day as we had no power and no water - never heard from them. I called and was told they were swamped didn't know when they could help. I called later in day and was told that my generator was "shot" and it wasn't worth their time to come out. After taking my money for 17 yrs and even 6 weeks earlier - they left me stranded. Didn't even take a look. They left me without power and water for 5 days until power came back on. I contacted another generator company who found a problem (that they said was likely present for months ) - including when C & T took my $ for service and likely missed it 6 weeks earlier. I replaced the generator with another company ( if C & T had responded I likely would have stayed with them) They left me stranded and basically told me tough s--t its not worth our time to come out. I would not use them and recommend others look to other companies for service and purchasing a generator!!

In January of…read more2022--two years ago, we ordered a solar tracker system (an array of panels on a post that rotate with the sun to maximize exposure and energy production). The total cost of the project was $110,949. The project required the removal of many trees on our property; this was done by our regular tree service in March of 2021 at an additional cost of $17,000. We have made three payments to GM Industries totally $ 58,299. Thus, we're out $75K so far. In April 2022, a concrete base was installed, along with a trench to the house and some empty electrical boxes outside and inside the house. Since then--21 months later, NOTHING has happened. Several times installation dates have been promised, including a FOR-SURE installation of the array of between Thanksgiving and Christmas of 2023. No installation occurred, nor was any notification received regarding further delay. In short, Glenn Martin has made repeated promises that has not been met. I do know that he continued installing the concrete bases at the homes of others in 2022, thereby luring more customers into huge investments while not delivering on the promised solar arrays, savings on electricity, or tax breaks.
