They get a star for being responsive and answering the phone, which some electricians simply don't do. Beyond that, they sent over what I guess was an apprentice and another guy who didn't say much. I called twice, including the day of asking if I needed to go out and buy a plug. They said no both times. They guys came over with no equipment despite me emailing a direct picture of what was needed, and unwilling to drive 3 minutes to lowes to get it. We got charged and they left. After an email complaint they offered to send them back to change a plug without another $250 fee. Since we planned on having them actually do the job, while they were out here we asked for another small job or two (including simply changing an outside floodlight). Here comes more diagnostic fees for their "expertise"... Overall there are more experienced places out there by far, and many that will charge far far less. If you are in a pinch and need to reach someone, "no job is too small" here....

Electrician/Tech Jim arrived on time and after looking at my problem, decided replacing the burnt solenoid in my transfer switch was not the ultimate fix - the actual assembly was at issue. He called the office and I followed up with Lisa to order the needed part. Upon receipt of the part, Jim was rescheduled and again was on time. He replaced the assembly, tested the generator to ensure it did indeed take and transfer the load as designed. I did not need to pay at the end of his visit - but was billed ~ a week later. I used C & T Electric for over 17 years for servicing my generator. I spent over $5000 on service…read moreover that time and had been happy with the service. I paid $250 for routine service in mid June 2020. I asked the tech how much life I had left in this generator and was told it was burning and leaking a little oil but that I still had several more years. In Aug 2020 we had a storm and we lost power and auto Generac generator came on but was heavily smoking. Contacted C & T and they told me to turn off and tried to troubleshoot over phone to no avail. We left off that they would come out to evaluate the next day. They next day as we had no power and no water - never heard from them. I called and was told they were swamped didn't know when they could help. I called later in day and was told that my generator was "shot" and it wasn't worth their time to come out. After taking my money for 17 yrs and even 6 weeks earlier - they left me stranded. Didn't even take a look. They left me without power and water for 5 days until power came back on. I contacted another generator company who found a problem (that they said was likely present for months ) - including when C & T took my $ for service and likely missed it 6 weeks earlier. I replaced the generator with another company ( if C & T had responded I likely would have stayed with them) They left me stranded and basically told me tough s--t its not worth our time to come out. I would not use them and recommend others look to other companies for service and purchasing a generator!!

I brought in a Bose CD drive which seriously needed cleaning. My CD's, which played with no issues…read morein other CD drives, were unplayable on my Bose device -- they would stop and start (or stop and not restart). The proprietor of JB Electronics, in less than 24 hours, thoroughly cleaned the CD drive and tested it without any help from Bose. Now it plays perfectly the same CD's on which it had been failing. Moreover, the service was relatively inexpensive -- about $75 (which certainly beats paying $600 or more for a new Bose device). The proprietor is semi-retired and works out of his basement. Don't let that fool you -- he knows what he is doing, and is perfectly honest and straightforward. I recommend his service without qualification.

Only needed the electrical connection, so JB hardwired it to the board, for 1/5 of what the TV cost, or buying new. Well worth it, and unconventional to the big box option of ordering a whole new board + labor cost, which is what "squad" told me was required. Go to this guy. He's much more practical! Now I've got tv back in perfect working order! Both my wallet and I are happy.
