You don't close down for a lunch break when you are a pharmacy. you schedule your people on lunch breaks and if you can't do that you have a help problem. On several occasions I have found people at the pharmacy counter givng out wrong information and rushing customers along because vthere are 30 people at the counter. Pharmacy consultations are crazy, the pharmicist is overloaded with prescriptions, has to get back and will try to be as nice and as friendly as possible GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES. PHARMACY IS MEDICINE. PEOPLE COME FOR ADVICE AND HELP IN A FAMILY WAY. DID CVS FORGET THIS ???? CVS built their reputation on caring (caremark), what the hell has gone wrong. How would you like to be vaccinaed by a pharmacist who is being over worked and is now going to inject you ???? I try to order some of my prescriptions on line to avoid the store. Something has to be done Big Pharma / big drug stores / the loss of local drug stores to over loaded big drug stores all has be regulated some how. We need to control the medical insurance companies which are reuining our medical care system with paying out overinflated medical and drug costs. Think about this: Who pays for the patients needing medical care that don't have coverage ?? Who pays for the patients who abuse the system ?? What about the patients who need lifesaving medical care and can"t get it ???? WE ALL PAY. DO SOMETHIG ABOUT IT. DON'T ELECT OFFICIALS DEMOCRATIC OR REPUBLICAN WHO WON'T PUT A REAL END TO THIS MADNESS. SHOW ME A REAL BILL THAT YOU WILL PUT FORWARD THAT WORKS FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. The courteous gentleman on the phone made sure that the medication was dropped off at my door the same day! I'm a long time Babylon resident and used this pharmacy for years and never had any issues. I went in to refill a script. The young lady can barely speak English then pulled up a medication I…read morehadn't taken in years. When she finally found what I was asking for she claimed they didn't have it. I left then called asking to speak to the manager then asked him to cancel my acct for those reasons. Six months later my doctors office sent a script there in error. I called the 2 current pharmacies I'd been using, neither had the script. Called doc then called Islip Pharmacy. Yes they had it but weren't filling it because I cancelled my account-CLICK. She hung up on me!! I had been waiting 3 or 4 days now for my script the least they could've done was to call me and explain. I asked to speak to the manager she replies 'I am the manager'. I don't want someone who can barely speak English and get so much wrong to handle my needs.
