This location is my go to CVS. I am soo happy to see that this location has hired a security guard to monitor the store. I have seen several petty thefts at this location in the past. Got my passport photo done here last week, and I was really happy with how easy the process was! I had called ahead to make sure they offered passport photo services since another branch I'd contacted before said their photo station was down. The employee confirmed that they were and said I could just come in, no appointment necessary. I dropped by within an hour or so, and the same employee helped me. She was so nice and friendly and let me retake the shots until I was happy, then she printed and cut them for me. It was $16.99 for two 2x2 photos, which I felt was worth it versus trying to do it myself and stressing over meeting all the specific requirements. CVS uses some sort of biometric system to check that the size, ratios, and other photo aspects are up to standards. I still have to wait another several weeks for my passport renewal to go through, but I'll update this review once I find out whether or not there were issues with the photo they took. read more

My prescription is never in stock. When they finally get it they fill it for half the amount I'm supposed to get. And then blame the doctors office. Prescription read like this "2 pumps on each arm daily, max daily dose 2 pumps" what? That's nuts? when I questioned the pharmacy about it they said "well we meant 2 pumps on each arm" like I'm supposed to infer the meaning on a prescription? There isn't enough medication and I'm up shits creek now. They can blame the doctors office all they want but they knew my prescription was wrong and they filled it anyway instead of sorting it out with my doctor first. The worst. read more

Make sure you have them count your scripts out before you pay and leave the store. Shorted prescription by HALF. 20 pain pills were missing when they were picked up at the drive through this afternoon. Called them up and they hung up on me. So we went there and confronted them in person and they said the count in the system was correct and then confirmed the amount of pills that were in the bottle was half of the total. The pharmacist said to please come back tomorrow, since she was a temp and "didn't know the protocol" to deal with this tonight. Really?? I think you should have the protocol handy. Asked to speak to the manager, but no one was there to speak with. They called the next day apoligizing and filled the rest of the script. Otherwise the police would have been called. CVS handled this serious mistake terribly. You just lost a loyal customer. read more

As a store where you can get normal iteams this place is five stars. The staff is friendly and helpful. The photo center is also quick, easy and friendly. Here comes the issue, the pharmcy is the worst. They leave you at the drive thru for 15-20 mins, they never give an accurate ETA on pick ups and the pharmacist is put out if he has to talk to you. They dont even know what is in their shipments. Management hides in their office and wont come out to take a complaint. My story: my wife had a major surgery and we went to cvs they told us the pain meds would be there in 2 days, which was ok as we had enough for 2 days, when I went to pick it up they said 2 more days, when I went back they said a week. I was so angry I took the script and asked the photo girl to get me the manager as I had a complaint. The manager kept making the photo girl come out to give me their responce. Then I asked for a corperate number, the photo girl then said to me she would go to the pharmacy to check if the meds were there because she knew they had gotten a delivery, sure enough it was there. CVS promote the photo girl to manager!!!! She saved a nasty corperate complaint! read more

Let me reiterate how the fact that the pharmacy doesn't pay any fuckin attention to what there doing. nor do they have a clue how to do a simple fucking job of putting pills in a fuckin bag. 15 woman behind a counter and not one could help but instead decide to help Mr fucking magoo who they know on a first name basis who was 3 spots behind me in line while I've been waiting 30 fucking minutes. Very good place to shop, they usually have lot of good deals on seasonal stuff and never really any lines. The pharmacy staff is very helpful and they do have some pretty pharmacy techs working behind the counter. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because their coupons machines are always acting up and not printing the coupons. read more

About three months ago I was having a problem regarding my insurance freezing in the pharmacy due to a former employer whose benefits tried to kick in while I currently am on Obama care..It was an annoying situation. I had to keep calling my health insurance customer care line and it was also effecting the cost of my prescriptions. With a lot going on at the time I was super stressed out, and everyone at this pharmacy really helped make the whole situation a breeze! especially, the employee Zach. He is very thorough, enthusiastic and a hard worker. He didn't have to go out of his way to keep typing my scripts in to update the system and he did. After I called my ins one last time, I notified them and I used an old Empire card by accident, so basically I would have to pay out of pocket if he didn't go back in to retype everything in the computer. He did this for the third time for two separate scripts and it was amazing. Zachary was very patient and demonstrated excellent customer service skills. I'm very thankful and definitely will be coming back to this pharmacy from now on. Thank you CVS! And especially Zach for helping make light of a very stressful situation! read more

Changed over from CVS store 177 in Wantagh , to village Pharmacy in Babylon ( mistake ) back to this CVS after I moved into the Babylon area .The pharmacy staff in CVS are extremely helpful , will call your doctor to get a prescription filled if you do not have a refill .
