When she finally found what I was asking for she claimed they didn't have it. I left then called asking to speak to the manager then asked him to cancel my acct for those reasons. Six months later my doctors office sent a script there in error. I called the 2 current pharmacies I'd been using, neither had the script. Called doc then called Islip Pharmacy. Yes they had it but weren't filling it because I cancelled my account-CLICK. She hung up on me!! I had been waiting 3 or 4 days now for my script the least they could've done was to call me and explain. I asked to speak to the manager she replies 'I am the manager'. I don't want someone who can barely speak English and get so much wrong to handle my needs.

I did have to wait for my prescription (rx) to be filled but they provided me with an accurate timeframe for when to expect rx filled. The stock on the shelves was consistent with other CVS stores I've been to and despite Covid-19 they even had toilet paper. Some of the associates are a bit chatty amongst themselves which is not something I care too much about. It's kind of sweet to see co-workers getting along. There are self check outs to use when you are ready to purchase.

There is a prior review from about two hours ago in regards to the same cashier who was not only extremely rude she looked miserable and upon ringing me up I had my CVS app out and I said excuse me so she could scan it because she was ripping my items without asking if I had a phone number or the app and her response was "I could scan that at any time you don't have to be nasty about it" . I was baffled at the fact that she was so unprofessional first off and second off I don't know who she thinks she is but it is literally her job to ring me up and I'm pretty sure there's also qualifications in being in customer service to be kind. I honestly think she doesn't have a place working customer service and like the prior review stating the gentleman was about to not even make his purchases I felt exactly the same. The smug look on her face and her nasty attitude on top of the comment that she had made was enough for me to go forward and make this review.

I had a prescription that I needed for pain after a tooth extraction that had just been called in minutes earlier. When I asked if they could expedite it because I was in pain, they said "no problem" and they had it ready in less than 10 minutes! They also have some of the best GoodRX prices anywhere - the few times I had to pay out of pocket due to insurance issues, I paid $20 for one of my prescriptions when my other pharmacy's GoodRX price was almost $400 for the same thing. And I didn't even have to ask about the discount, the pharmacist looked it up and offered it. Highly recommend!

On the way out of the parking lot, we stopped to make sure it was complete and of course about $60 worth of cold cuts and cheeses were missing. This was supposed to be our lunch. We called the store and were told that they would find our cold cuts and run them out to us. After a 20 minute wait in the parking lot, my wife finally went in the store to find out what happened. She was told our meat order went back to the deli and that it has to be done from the start again. And they all were complaining to the boss that it was Brianna that did it. We were told that We could go home and they would call us to come back and pick up the cold cuts which was not appealing to us. No apology no offer to deliver, our meat, just excuses that this happens sometimes when they're busy. We suck when we're busy, is not a good motto to have. Do not use the service with the store. You will be as frustrated as I am right now. Never again!

There was a point in time when you could walk into a pharmacy and the staff would recognize you, or…read moremaybe remember your name. They could make recommendations for common ailments and have a supply of products to assist. Terrace Apothecary is truly reminiscent of that point in time. They're not random schmos at your local Walgreens scowling at you when you ask for a recommendation on OTC medicine for migraines or noxious foot order or whatever is currently plaguing you. The staff does not change from week to week or even month to month. Mark has been around for a long time and both him and his staff are genuinely knowledgeable, courteous and are much more favorable to deal with over "pharmacy assistants" at local chain drugstores. They also can often fill your prescription while you wait, leaving you time to browse their vast selection of Chapstick and vitamins and whatnot. The only downside is that they don't accept digital scripts. D'oh.

I asked why and immediately I was screamed at because it's a "controlled substance". He seemed irritated, became very defensive, talking very aggressively towards me and not willing to even explain anything to me from the beginning when I first asked. I am so disgusted by the way I was spoken to and treated. Talking over me, making fun of me when I used the wrong terminology, Wouldn't let me get a word in, kept putting me on hold. He asked for PERSONAL INFORMATION OF WHY I TAKE MEDICATIONS and interrogating me asking what conditions I have and wanted my doctor to call him. Thought it was funny so he had the cashier pick up and put me on hold only to hang up. He refused to give me his name (only to keep making up names and give me multiple fake names) and pharmacy id number (to report him for his misconduct). If he was behaving professionally he shouldn't have any problem giving me his name. He laughed at me when I told him I have anaphylaxis (he should know this if he had my information pulled up being that I am prescribed epipens) and told me he didn't have time to deal with this since customers just came in. Very unprofessional, and absolutely degrading. I have very serious medical issues and for my medication to be taken as a joke (along with my medical issues) I will NEVER go here again. I've also picked up medication from this place with the caps not on and upside down in the bottle where the pills flew out every where. They have told me my medications weren't covered by my insurance when they were!!!
