I needed to fill my out of state prescription so I came here instead of CVS, which was a MUCH better experience, especially during CoVID. I wore my mask in and dropped it off at the pharmacy. By far, the friendliest and nicest pharmacist I've met so far on Long Island and he's efficient too! I give him a 5 star rating and the store itself is definitely a 4 star hodge lodge where you can find everything from pool accessories to vitamins! The lady whose name I should know by now is a wealth of information about any type of ailments so ask her and she will be happy to help!! I'll take some photos next time I'm there. As I said in my Huntington review of this store, I love the vitamin/herbal lady here. She always has great advice on herbal products, and I always run into her whenever I'm in either store. I love their natural beauty product section, and they are the only store on Long Island that carries my favorite burt's bees berry flavored toothpaste. I only wish they carried Jason shampoos and conditioners; I would never go back to Whole Foods for any of my beauty purchases again if Value Drugs had it. read more

Love the store but the crabby manager is the reason i will never go back. What a grouch. I don't need the guy to be my best friend but a pleasant demeanor would be nice. Value Drugs has it all. Cookware, clothing, makeup, holiday decor, greeting cards, school supplies, food and drinks, herbal teas, gluten free products, cleaning supplies, I mean the list goes on and on. Great place to go for a last minute gift for somebody when you don't have time to leave town and shop for it elsewhere. The parking can be a little bit tricky, especially on a Saturday or Sunday morning, only because it's shared with a Deli and a Dunkin Donuts so traffic flow can be a bit heavy, however there is a lot just for Value Drug customers on the left side that is very convenient. I love Value Drugs because it is locally owned by great people and it's a neighborhood spot, you can't come here without seeing people you know. The line moves quickly, the employees are very friendly and they have great sales around the holidays. Their Christmas section is awesome, endless amounts of lights, ornaments, gift boxes, etc. The store is always clean and organized, it's a great place to shop. read more

Value Drugs could become a phenomenal success by taking two steps: 1. Learn more about what Greenlawn Village needs, and stop limiting itself to overpriced groceries and higher-end health-food items. They don't seem to realize the potential they have to become the premier retail destination for Greenlawn, northern Elwood and southern Centerport. We need a reasonably priced grocery in addition to the 1000s of seasonal and household items. Get us in there for well-priced grocery essentials & you will see your pharmacy business grow more and more. 2. Retrain or replace the store manager, who for many years has behaved like an icicle. Zero warmth, zero friendliness, zero interaction -- whether with new customers or regulars. Come on Value Drugs, you can't just replicate your Huntington Village store. Greenlawn is much more of a village pace -- keep the health-food and supplements. But bring in the decent-priced groceries and get some warmth into the management. Thank you! read more

I know it's cold out but this store is beyond freezing. You walk around and see the employees in thick coats. The pharmacist fills prescriptions wearing a parka, gloves and hat!! The 'proprietor' drives a Masserati. Now I know why. This place should be closed until the owner can make it habitable. read more

The overall store is above standard in all departments the customer service level is like going to Dr Bombay on Bewitched.this is a complement it is one of my favorite shows. Dr. Bombay couldn't get it done or be any more inconvenienced and still smile I'd say it's a great complement to the store.
