I didn't think anything of it until I took them and got sick. It was definitely the filler. Also certain companies that make the generics are allowed to vary the main ingredient up to 20%. (That's why they switched..The new generics are cheaper) When I found all of this out, I didn't go into a whole thing with the pharmacy but I did ask if they could keep the regular ones on hand since I've been filling my meds with them for years. He said no. A firm no. So I went to Diamond Drugs and explained my situation and sure enough, they went out of their way to help me....and help me they did! I'm so happy with them. They special ordered 2 of my meds. ;)

Last time I walked in to get a prescription filled for my young child and she's like "insurance doesn't cover it" and when I tried talking to her she got extremely rude. I was never given an option to pay without insurance I was just turned away. Later that day I switched the prescription to another pharmacy and insurance picked it right up.

A second woman stated that sometimes the pharmacy is closed for the day so you never know. We all decided to wait until 2pm but a sign can easily solve this issue.

I had stopped using Walgreens in Hicksville due to crazy Pharmacy prices, a bs annual prescription plan and bad customer service. My mother is a nonagerian who has had a frequent need for multiple prescriptions and remedies over the years. This store which is next to the Trader Joe's was a pleasure to visit in 2022 and 2023. My last 2 visits were a month apart in April and June of 2025 and this is what I observed : 1) The store was cluttered and unorganized. 2) CVS had an employee contest to sign up new CVS ExtraCare Plus members and 2 of the newer employees forgot about cs and the big picture as they focused on 2 potential customers forgetting about us waiting in line as they used the self check out registers with no one manning the actual front counter. 3) Infighting and rudeness amongst these employees. 4) Non working 1 hour photo service and the employees shrugging their shoulders stating they had no idea about how long it would take. 5) This is non store specific and overall feedback. The VIP program via the CVS ExtraCare Plus at a cost of $5 per month giving us $10 to get anything from the store every month is limited to fewer items now.

I have very bad crippling anxiety and made a purchase online. I called the store because my disability makes it hard for me to go inside stores without having a panic attack. She got my online order ready immediately and to make things even better, she brought it right out to the car for me!! Her smile meant the world to me and my anxiety levels went way down. We need more people in the world like Amanda. She deserves so much praise for a job well done.
