Seems Immediate prints are now 5x7s not 4x6 as that machine is old and broken. Yet she was able to help us process and get needed 4x6 prints. She was also good at register. She's a keeper! read more

If I can give no stars I would. The most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever gone to. I waited patiently to speak to a pharmacist. The staff said he/she was attending to a customer. I waited an entire hour standing by consultation to them have a rude staff member tell me she was just getting on a call and I would have to continue to wait. I've never had any issues with pharmaceuticals ever. They were extremely rude. Rolling their eyes. Very condescending. I would NEVER go to this pharmacy again. I'll stick to CVS where they treat you like a person and have courtesy to not have you wait hours for a consult with the pharmacist. read more

This morning I went to purchase gifts for my individuals ( I work in a group home with adults with disabilities) Unfortunately due to COVID-19 my individual's aren't able to shop in department store, so we purchase gifts and shop online Now I have purchased gift cards in the past with no issues Today the cashier is going to tell me he hopes I'm not using these gift card for scanning I kept it respectful because I was working and because he went low I wasn't going to go lower I did call Walgreens Corporate office and made a complaint and is waiting for someone to call me back I did feel because I was Africa American he spoke to me in that manner. The pharmacist Renee at the Bethpage, NY store was the most caring and compassionate person I have encountered in a long time. I was going through a rough time because my mom died. I needed a refill on a prescription medication and she made sure she moved heaven and earth to get it done. I was undergoing a lot of anxiety because I ran out of my medication and she went above and beyond to help me. Caring people like this are hard to find in today's society. Renee is a kind, caring and wonderful pharmacist. I appreciated her so much that I called corporate to make sure they know what a wonderful employee they have. I hope she gets the accolades she deserves. Her kindness cheered someone up who was very sad tonight. She made me feel like I mattered. read more

Went in for a birthday card, They had a hood selection of cards overall. The Walgreens are all about the same and carry virtually the same products. The cashier was friendly and rang up purchase quickly. And as I said before Walgreens is one of the only drug store chains that takes the convince of apple pay. read more

Walgreens on Hempstead Turnpike, Bethpage, NY I am a senior citizen, not very accomplished in navigating my iPhone to print photos, but If you are lucky enough to have Victoria assist you, you will be educated. She explained to me how to take photo off Facebook pages that had been sent to me and put them into my photos so I could print them. Then she went steps further to help me edit my photos so that the results would be better. I did not mind waiting as she had to help other customers who were picking up photos, since she was my guardian angel. I wanted to post a review specifically about the photo department. I went to pick up photos on my way to work, and when I got to the counter my photos weren't there. I checked the website and I had never actually submitted my order. Andrew, the young man who helped me, told me to re-submit my order and printed my photos then and there. The pharmacy counter is the most impersonal group if people i ever met. They are never willing to go out of their way to help. There only answer is call your insurance company. I was on the phone with the insurance company and the pharmacist and the pharmacist still said you need to call your insurance company. Humana was shocked with the way they acted. This review covers 4 local Walgreens: Bethpage, Hicksville, East Meadow, and West Babylon pertaining to Covid 19 Vaccinations. When the vaccine came out in January for Seniors it was almost impossible to get a reservation for inoculation from the State run sites such as Jones Beach. When the drug stores received enough to start the process was equally frustrating except at Walgreens. We were told that appointments populated their website at the stroke of midnight and like magic there were no appointments at 11:59 and a minute later you had your choice of dates and times with plenty to choose from. Pick your first dose time and the screen then showed you all the available 2nd dose appointments. Quick, easy and you didn't have to be a computer genius to set it up. The 4 Walgreens mentioned provided first and second doses for me and my wife the reason for the differences of location was based upon our time schedule. In each location we were welcomed in a reassuring manner and paperwork was easy and uncomplicated. We felt all our questions were answered and side effects explained. Definitely will use them again if a booster shot is required in the future. read more

I need to switch to the Walgreens in east meadow or Massapequa, despite this location being the most convenient (my insurance doesn't par with CVS) - I recently had a prescription nasal spray sent over. I never received notification something was ready for pick up, as per their automated phone line, there was no prescription for me. Called my dr & was told it would be resent. Ok, well same thing a week later, I received no notification anything was ready for pick up, automated phone line again said nothing was ready for pick up; this time I spoke with someone in the pharmacy who would have it ready in 90 minutes. After 3 hours, I just went to Walgreens bc still no notification anything was ready. Well guess what? The nasal spray was OTC! I was sent up aisle 27 for it & it was locked up. So no one could inform me this item was OTC & no one knew it was a locked up item. This is a disaster of a "pharmacy". read more

I am at Walgreens now to get Covid Booster. My appointment was at 1150 and I was on time. It's 1222 now and I am behind 4 people waiting for Covid shots. Not one person has been called to get shot since I got here. I asked to use bathroom. I was told that they do not have a public restroom due to Covid. Seriously that sounds like an excuse not to have to clean the restrooms. The General Manager should be ashamed of himself if he made decision to close bathrooms. It looks like I will be here a very long time and I have to go to bathtub badly. read more

Walgreens. You heard that right kids, this super central location is open 24/7/365. A heartbeat off the 135 and located right on the "Thruway" of Long Island (Hempstead Turnpike) this Walgreens is the absolute most convenient "everything store" in the area. Their pharmacy (also open 24/7) is the fastest most efficient one in the area. Chau you rock! The only con is if you are an impulse buyer (like me) you can never walk out with just your prescription. I mean when I went in in November to pick up my antibiotics I walked out with a mini Christmas Tree. Parking is ample and well lit (even at 3am) and there are two entrance/exits out of the lot. read more

Ok the Walgreens it's self is clean and always stocked with what you need but the pharmacists have to be the nastiest people I have ever encountered... no patience and not willing to help customers at all.... can you imagine telling them hey I changed insurances and them telling you oh I already have your info, I said no you have my old insurance , I literately had to tell this lady 3x that "no you are charging my prescriptions to my old insurance "... she basically didn't want to input my new insurance and was okay with me walking away with my scripts charged under my expired insurance. read more

It's a good Walgreens, they usually have what I need and the prices aren't really any different than CVS. Not as cheap as say Target but it's definitely convenient since they are open 24 hours. Walgreens has a decent selection of toiletries, make-up/cosmetics, hygiene, vitamins some groceries and of course the pharmacy. They also have a photo dept. Most times that I come to this location there is usually a long line though. The parking lot is a bit annoying too. I haven't had any problems here so I can't see any reason to take off any more stars. A decent, standard Walgreens with good convenient hours, it's great to know it's there if you need something at an unusual hour of the night! read more

Sure, I love my mom and appreciate all she's done for me, but I'll be damned if I'm giving her a poem or something very emotional and flowery via card on the first Sunday in May; know what I'm sayin'? Yeah you know what I'm saying. After an hour I finally found a cars that had a dog on the front and nothing more than happy mothers day on the inside; while I am not a dog, I do wish my mom a happy mothers day in as few words as possible. Variety and convenience. It doesn't matter if it's 2PM or 2AM- there is always some sort of action going on at this Walgreens. I myself have fallen prey to its convenience. I've bought some of the strangest late night purchases here throughout the years. Very well lit inside and pretty well organized. Shelves are neatly stocked with plenty of chioces. I cannot speak on behalf of the pharmacy because I wasn't in need. Looks like if you shop the specials you can do fairly well. A big plus is they're open 24 hours. read more

Their pharmacy department can be SLOW! Always better to go inside rather than do the drive through to pick up prescriptions as I have sat there for over 25 minutes waiting in line and then for someone to come to the window. Very disappointed. Just received a letter that as of May 3rd the pharmacy will no longer be 24hours, this was one of the main reasons we have prescriptions there. There's always a line for prescriptions so it was nice to have option to go later at night , especially if got out of work late. Will consider changing prescriptions . read more
