Left the store with decent curls but by the time I got home they fell out and my hair was frizzy, chaotic and would like it had knots everywhere. I told them my hair is not the best at holding curls so asked them to do whatever it takes to have the curls stay. Called the store upon arriving at home at 1240p and was told To come back to look at and then maybe a refund can be issued meanwhile the stylist and now the general manager knew I had a wedding at 2p ( we were talking about it while I was getting my hair done) and was told I can't come back "oh well". Told them I had videos and pictures and they said that's not good enough yoh need to come to the store and miss the wedding. Stylist- Jenna Manager- unknown because she refused to give me her name or email so I had to reach out to people I know in order to get emails and phone numbers. Staff here is wonderful! I had a disaster hair appointment at a different Ulta. Basically, I got ghosted and stood up for the same appointment. Terrible experience. I'll never return to this location. I was racially profiled while shopping--within just 15 minutes, five different employees asked if I needed help. One young employee with glasses in particular wouldn't leave me alone, continuing to talk to me even after I said I was fine. The cashier was unpleasant as well. I really hate to write this review, but I feel like I must. I went to get my hair colored and it was just supposed to be chocolate brown and I thought they cannot mess that up. She started coloring my hair with no gloves on which I was kind of shocked about because I saw her hands getting very dark. Then she started to get color on my ears, side burns, and forehead as well, I was shocked because she had not put any Vaseline or anything on to make sure that my skin doesn't get colored, I still gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she knows something after all she is the licensed stylist. After putting the color on she pulled out the Vaseline and started to rub it in to the areas she should have done prior to putting the color on. Now this is not my first time getting my hair colored, a lot of times what happens is my ears are covered and the hairstylist will go ahead and put some type of product like Vaseline with cotton on my forehead to ensure it does not stain my skin. She put the Vaseline after she colored my forehead and was rubbing it into my scalp even more. Again, i tried to keep calm and thought maybe she has color remover that's really good. She starts to wash my hair. There was kind of like a cushion or something behind my head she went ahead and removed it and I'm telling you I have pain and a big lump on my head because I was sitting on that chair for a good 15 minutes getting my hair washed. I thought we were done with the hair washing, but she realized that she had not washed the tons of soap off properly so she put me back on the chair and continue to wash my hair. When we were done and I went back to the chair and I saw myself in the mirror, I literally wanted to cry. Everybody was looking at me and i am pretty sure 1 lady even took a picture. Anyways, the stylistbrought out some type of product and started to attempt to try to takeoff the color that was on my forehead and on my sideburns.I told her this needs to come off, please make sure this comes off she said you had a lot of white hair on your sideburns. I am 34 years old and have 2020 vision, I do not have white hair on my sideburns, I still tried to be nice and said please please please take the color off of my skin or I'm going to look like a fool. She continued the servicea and went to blow dry my hair and said that she'll go back to try to take the color off of my skin afterwards. After blow drying my hair, she was again trying to take the color off my skin and said that it'll come off after I wash my face, which is weird because she's using a product that "removes" color and even put hand sanitizer!!!!!and it's not coming off!!!!. How is it going to come off with soap and water? so I took the product off of her hand and started to aggressively rub my scalp in attempt to take off the color off my forehead and sideburns. After a good five minutes of really hard rubbing some of it did come off, but it is still there. I must say she did do a decent blow dry looked like a clown coming out of the store. After coming home, I realized the damage was even more I had color in my eardrums. I am not kidding when I say to you that I used at least 20 Q-tips to get color out of my ears after a full day of washing my face and scrubbing the hell out of it the color still is there on my skin. I could've argued and refused to pay, but that's not what I like to do and make a scene. I went to the cashier quietly paid for my bill went to my car and cried my eyes out. Please, anyone going there read your reviews and make sure when you're choosing to do a hair color you don't just go to anybody.... lesson learned read more

Stopped in to the Levittown location for Ulta Beauty this evening and, as in the past, had a very positive experience. The store was extremely clean and organized, which was impressive, especially as it was near closing time. Shortly after I started to browse, I was greeted by the manager, Jennalynn, who helped me find everything I was looking for, and provided me with product suggestions that matched my concerns without putting pressure on me to purchase any of them - a refreshing approach in retail Health and Beauty. The store itself is pretty typical. I generally shop for my beauty items online and have Ulta ship, but I have a quick wander on the days I go there for my hair... Beatrice is the bomb. Was going to the salon prior to COVID craziness and returned. They had so many stylists quit. Unsure if to this was due to work environment, folks moving or what... but I ended up with Queen B and don't regret it. She keeps the brass at bay in my mane. Ulta's salon setup is kind of meh. They had a price hike 2-3 years ago and in addition, now that I no longer see a low tier stylist it's mucho coinage. I'm paying the price of an mid to upscale salon, but in the middle of a retail store with bright led lights and customers interrupting my stylists work of art (yes, moi). It definitely helps that you can use the ulta rewards program and redeem points for services, so I've continued to go there. Lastly, the wash stations are uncomfortable on your neck and it's often colder than the abominable snowman's toes in the back wash area. None of this issues are any of the stylists fault, of course, but brrrrrr. read more

My stylist Selina is an amazing stylist, she listens to what you ask her to do and she gives good advice when looking at the health of your hair. Selina gives good suggestions when it comes to the integrity of your hair. Every time I leave the salon I feel like a brand new person, I feel so good and happy after any service I receive from Selina in the salon. I also love the way Luci in MAC does my makeup. She made me look absolutely stunning for an event I was going to. I felt so beautiful and confident after my makeup was done. Selina and Luci as a team with hair and makeup will absolutely make you feel like a millionaire with the beautiful looks they are able to achieve. Do not book appointments at this salon. I booked an appointment for hair and makeup six months in advance. Three months later someone from the salon called me asking if they could switch me to a different stylist at the same time. I still have the voicemail. I called back and said sure. I guess I spoke with a ghost because the week of the appointment they told me they didn't have me in anywhere with no explanation as to why and no availability. She was friendly a made good suggestions. The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I mentioned I have oily skin, she informed me that my makeup wouldn't look oily throughout the night based on the makeup she used and how she prepared my skin before hand. Ulta is the kind of store where you will find anything and everything for all your hair and beauty needs. I walk into this store and I really don't know where to turn first. For cosmetics, they carry the basic Cover Girl, Max Factor, Estee, etc. to Clinique, Bare Minerals, Murad and more. The fragrance selections are endless, it's just a hard section for some people to walk through because everyone loves to spray those little cards to test out all the scents. If you're ok with that, it smells really good in there. Otherwise, it might be a good idea for you to avoid that area all together. Ulta carries all products for both women and men. There is also great gift giving ideas such as makeup kits, fragrance gift packages and scented candles. You can also find any size/type brush, hair accessories and different types of dryers. If you really want to splurge a little, there is a full service salon right in the store. I have never used them before but I did check out their menu of services when I was there last. The Signature Service sounds very nice and includes your cut, blow out, hair treatment plus a scalp massage. If you never had a scalp massage, this is something you have to experience at least once. It's extremely relaxing and very hard to stay awake afterwards. They also offer skin treatments, waxing and makeup applications. Prices can be high on certain items but if you go online, www.ulta.com, there are always coupons and other offers you can print directly from their website. There is also an Ulta Rewards Program that for every $50 you spend, they mail you a coupon for $5 that can be used towards merchandise in the store. That might not seem like alot now but believe me, when you go to check out, you will be very happy you have those coupons especially since the signs are already up that Mothers Day is right around the corner!! read more

We were up visiting from out of state for a wedding- We had to schedule three appointments for full face make up bc last minute our original plans fell through. Not only were they able to squeeze us into their schedule but they got all of us done and out of there super quickly and first thing in the morning. So appreciative of that ! When I asked for a reason and how they can cancel 20 minutes before, they said life. They had no backup plan other than we need to cancel, even though we were already on our way there. Love this place. The environment is amazing and the workers are all very kind and engaging.

The store it's self is great, it's always stocked and it's local making it very convenient for me. But, every time I go I regret it instantly. All employees consistently bombarde you and bother you while you shop. I've been asked by the same employee 3x if I needed any help. Then once by everyone els. Then they will consistently follow you around the store. I had to ask one of the employees if I was in the way because she was hovering over me. It was extremely uncomfortable. And the fact that I drop a significant amount of money on makeup, the least they can do let people shop in peace. read more

Why is it that every time I come to this Ulta location there is some sort of spill that is in the process of being cleaned up? This Ulta location is huge. When you first walk in, they bombard you with various sales and goodies. Their makeup selection is decent but their skincare selection is great. They have Mario Badescu, which is a personal favorite of mine. They also have a TON of hair supplies. I scored a waver here once for only $9. Back to the spillage......Every time I am here, something is spilled all over once of the aisles. This most recent time, it was nail polish. I also don't think they own a mop since the poor sales girls had to get on their hands and knees an clean it all up with paper towels and water. The checkout counter is also a bit of a clusterfuck. If you're at the first register, you have to push past 5 other registers to get towards the exit. While this store does offer a great selection of various items, it can be a bit crowded and messy. read more

While this isn't a place I personally frequent since I'm a heterosexual male, I did walk around enough to write this out. While there isn't enough items for someone like myself, they do have some standard products I could pick up, like men's cologne and such, but this place obviously heavily favors cosmetics and such. From what I have seen, the stock is pretty varied and neat. The prices seem ok. My fiance would know better, since we came in here for her. The floor associates were friendly enough. There was a very long and slow moving line when I went, with only 2 cashiers who themselves seemed to be moving at a slow pace. With several floor associates, you'd think one or two of them would open a register on a busy Saturday afternoon and help bring down the line. Not sure how the management here works, but a good management team would have that in place - and they obviously didn't here. It's pretty basic retail 101. There is no acceptable explanation of how a store could have their customers in a line of that size without having others to open a register or two for the time being. It's not like they were understaffed either, since there were several on the floor. The parking lot is sizable. There was one moron in the handicap space parked crooked waiting for his wife - I guess parking a few feet away and in a space he shouldn't have, would be a horrible tragedy for this fella. Not the store's fault of course. The spaces closest to the store are going to be the most filled. This stand alone store does share a space with other businesses and there is ample parking in this Levittown Mews shopping plaza. So overall, not a bad store at all and if you're into hair products, cosmetics, and the like - this place should fulfill your needs. They just need to work on their register situation. read more

The first call went unanswered (yes they were open for business) and the second call was answered but I was left on hold for 17 minutes before I hung up!
