I walked over, stepped in and the young lady was so pleasant and helpful, offering to help us immediately. I looked around and found what I was looking for. I had a nail drill that was previously purchased at a beauty store in the hood. The cheap thing broke and it would not turn off unless you unplugged it and it had a very short cord. I got what I paid for $14 or so. This unit costs about $39 and I purchased a warranty for $5. This unit is a wireless nail drill, much heavier and it seems to be much sturdier. I was also able to pick beard wash and conditioner for my beard. I did not want to overdo it so I stopped there, it is easy to spend a lot of money in this store because you can always find something needed for personal care and hygiene. Today was a good find. On multiple occasions, I have inevitably realized that I…read moreforget some essential hair product rendering me woefully unable to appear in the manner in which i am accustomed. This is where Hi beauty has come to my rescue. On multiple occasions, I have found WHATEVER I was looking for in this little crammed-to-the-gills beauty supply store... Headbands, shampoo, condition, my favorite natural hair product line Kinky Kurly, as well as a myriad of other natural hair lines, tons of weave of all different types, wigs, eyeliner, nail polish, lipstick, inexpensive jewelry, perfume/colognes, lotions, traditional black hair care products for relaxed and braided hair...EVERYTHING! So in addition to just having everything, they are amazingly courteous and warm to their customers. The owners /clerks excitedly welcome you into the store but don't harass you, follow you around or imply you aren't an asset to their business In fact, they make small talk with you and even squirt lotion into my hands after our business transaction is concluded every time I've been in there as if I just got a manicure or something I have been in beauty supply stores all over this country...some things are consistent. They are usually crammed full and run by asians. What is unusual is high end natural hair products, good customer service and being being treated like a valued customer vs a nuisance. SO, to enter and find what is seemingly quite typical but in actuality is a gem, well, I love the place and wish it was down in Bmore instead of Westbury.

She was very friendly, knowledgeable and I really like her personality and presence. She has a very positive vibe. I completed the questionnaire then we started the session. I think it took maybe 15-20 mins, I really didn't track the time. The treatment was a bit uncomfortable but not as painful as I have experienced in the past. After the treatment I went home washed my face with CeraVe hydrating cleanser and applied Babo sensitive skin cream, and the treatment area did sting and was a bit painful. The treatment area definitely looks worse the second day but it begins to improve day three. I am hopeful the results will be what I wanted. I would definitely use laser now again very professional and welcoming environment.

I asked to keep my brows as is but just clean up and instead I came out with super thin eyebrows. I didn't realize any of this until just now because she did a great job at filling them in, but I don't normally have to fill them in so they look good. So mad considering they charge $21 for this plus a $5 tip. I paid to have my brows messed up practically. At my local ulta they brow map and shape your brows before they wax, but instead this girl went straight in. So upset.
