I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful and compassionate group of pharmacy professionals in the neighborhood! I initially stopped in and a gentleman assisted me with reassurance of quality and competitive pricing. The manager Christine followed up the next day (as the supply customer service person reported she would) and answered all of my questions, comments, and concerns. They had it ready upon call and their pricing is very competitive. I respectfully recommend this pharmacy as the care, compassion, honesty and genuineness was obvious. Its like back "back home" in Brooklyn or the Home country. Thank you all for exceptional care! read more

This pharmacy has been my go to pharmacy for many many years....but in the past few years with new ownership, it has gone downhill, the pharmacist/new owner, does not know how to run a business....every time I am there she tells people no matter the issue, to take vitamin D....a dangerous comment... She was rude to me today and I will not be returning... read more

Wonderful customer service. They were able to get a very difficult to find medication for my daughter in one day. They followup was incredible. I had an issue getting my doctor to send the script to this pharmacy and the staff her was so helpful and patient. I live a half hour away and they will be my new go-to for any hard to find med. read more

Cottage Pharmacy is in a corner store off of Woodbury Rd and Jericho turnpike. Its behind a bank. They have many items for view so you can get an idea of what you are looking for. They do not work with Medicare for items as Walkers. If you purchase something keep the receipt and find out what or if there is a return policy. The phone rep was out when I came. The store rep had a few ideas for our need but ultimately we were not able to get help or have something we wanted to purchase. read more

Been using Cottage Pharmacy for over 15 years. The staff is great. Needed to get a Hospital Bed for my Mom and when I called Cottage to arrange for a delivery, they told me they could be at my moms house in 2 hours. It was such a relief for my family. read more

This to me is a Really nice Fancy cvs. They have almost everything that your local cvs has and more. The service is great and they have plenty of help as well. Tons of gift items to choose from as well. Do not go there as much as i would like as they are a bit out of the way for me. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. The woman at the pharmacy counter is beyond rude and disrespectful. She wouldn't take a manufacturer coupon for medicine because she said she'd be losing money when in fact the company reimburses the pharmacy for taking it. She said then don't take the medicine there are plenty of other people that want it. The attitudes of the employees are out of control and the disrespectful way they speak to you is ridiculous. I don't know how they are even in business treating customers they way they do. read more

I'm only giving one star for the professionalism of the young woman in the surgical supply section. I brought my Mom there yesterday as she needed compression stockings and Cottage was recommended by her physician. When we arrived there I went into the store first to make sure they could wait on her as my Mother uses a wheelchair when she's out. One of their vans was parked blocking one of the handicapped spots and the ramp. There was another van with no placard blocking the other spot. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if the van could be moved. He yells over to this other guy to move the van. As I'm walking out this guy says to me "I'm loading very important things, I can help you with your Mom". We refused because I didn't want him pulling my Mother up over the curb. We were about to leave, and he moves the van (but it's still in the handicap spot). The other van is still blocking the spot. He tells the guy he was working with to move the van. So finally we are able to access the handicap spot and the ramp. When we're about to enter the store he comes out with a hand truck loaded with bottled water. My Mother says to him, real important things there. He tells her that she has a bad attitude. I said to him, I'm talking care of important things also!! Nice people they have working there! Stay away! read more

If I could give no stars I would ... the only thing they have going for them is Evelyn ... must be new owners because they can't seem to get anything right ...they filled a prescription thru insurance and I ended up paying full price one month ... they seem to have lost the concept of customer good will ... especially in a neighborhood like this ... I purposely don't use mail order because I like to support my local merchants but at what price do I continue to have issues ... never had a single issue with previous owners ...been Bach many times since this review it is now January 2020 and can't believe it's gotten worse .... I will have all my prescriptions transferred to a more accommodating pharmacy .... read more

If I could, I would give this pharmacy 0 stars. The customer service is awful. I was a customer for many years and the pharmacist tried to deny filling my prescription with no just cause. Only after she spoke with my doctor, was it filled, however, the pharmacist's attitude escalated. I felt disgusted over how I was treated and I am glad I never went back. Take a look at NY State disciplinary website. On January 12th 2016, the pharmacy admitted to selling outdated and misbranded drugs, also, they had no hot water. This is not the first infraction they have had. http://www.op.nysed.gov/opd/jan16.htm#pharm read more

Cottage Pharmacy - 01/2016 selling outdated and misbranded medications. - Drugstores Near Me - Woodbury, New York

We stopped using this pharmacy 15 years ago when we moved into the neighborhood because of attitudes and the unwillingness to help. Last week my elderly mother needed emergency oxygen so out of convenience and desperation we went back to this establishment. We quickly found out that zebra's don't change their stripes. The machine they rented us did not work at all... after three or four phone calls I was told to bring the machine back for a full $200 credit which by the way was the cost for this machine for one week. I subsequently found out they rented the machine without a prescription which according to the New York State Department of Health is illegal. In any event they refused to provide a refund they acknowledged the machine did not work just an awful group of people. I would summarize this situation by saying the culture of this pharmacy one of opportunists sitting around waiting to milk money out of sick people that can't defend themselves - totally disgusting!!!! read more

This is a cool non generic pharmacy with plenty of help and a non CVS vibe. They have rows of non pharmacy items and can be a last minute quick gift shop (as they have been a few emergency times) for some light items like nice picture frames, a perfume gift set.. etc. They moved and are in Woodbury Commons on the west side facing Woodbury Rd. read more

They were supposed to pick up a hospital bed that was provided by a hospice facility, but never showed up or called. Weeks later, my mom was scheduled to come home from a skilled nursing facility, and all of a sudden, I get a call from a person who works here saying that they're coming to pick up the hospital bed, the same day my mom was coming home. The person I spoke with from this pharmacy had a terrible personality, and showed no sympathy or ways of trying to make this a more logistic friendly transfer for my mother. He abruptly said something to the effect that wer're coming tomorrow to pick up the hospital bed. When I tried to explain to him that no one had showed up many weeks before this to pick up the bed when they said they were going to come for it, he said, well, they didn't want to pick it up quite then. As it turns out I bought the bed from Cottage Pharmacy, as I had to make sure there was a a hospital bed in place when my mother came home. He left me little alternative than to purchase it from the pharmacy, telling me what a great deal it was, and that if I didn't purchase it, they were going to pick it up the following the following day.........the day my mom was scheduled to return home. He did not bring up anything about renting the bed. SHAME ON YOU FOR SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! We had used this medical supply pharmacy previously for a bedside commode for my father, and I want down to there location in Woodbury and bought a cane with a four pronged base for my mother there. Those transactions were without incident............BUT, after this last experience with the hospital bed, I never would choose to use this pharmacy again. read more

Cottage Pharmacy and Surgical supply really helped my son and me on New Years Eve. They were able to send a hospital bed and a wheel chair to my son's home within 3 hours. The rehabilitation center and insurance company started the process 4 days earlier and failed. My son was in the rehabilitation center for 6 weeks and still needs to be non weight bearing for 6 more weeks. But can do that at home with the right equipment. Thank you Christine and Cottage. Happy New Year. read more

Delivery men were great ! Received my request timely. A month later I had the option I understood to purchase the item, rent it or purchase it. I was quoted a price to purchase a chair one day then told it was 101 dollars more. Not 100 dollars but 101 dollars more. So I said - thats not right we agreed on a price. Then they arrive the same afternoon to pick it up instead of the flollowng afternoon. Poor business! Sad. You have to laugh A. They lost a customer B. instead of going through the original offer- they sent two employees to pick up the item. What did thst cost you? read more

This review is for the surgical supply section of Cottage Pharmacy. I walked up to the surgical supply counter. There was a man/employee behind the counter. I was the only customer there. The man looked up and asked "what's up?", NOT "hi, can I help you?", or "what can I do for you?". No smile, no welcome, just "what's up?" There was a female employee sitting at the desk, so she heard the interaction. I told him what I was looking for and he led me to one item that was on the shelf, but didn't bother to ask me any questions to assess if the item he showed me would be the best choice for my needs. This was my first time interacting with an employee in the surgical supply section of Cottage Pharmacy. Poor customer service. read more

A conveniently located, locally owned pharmacy. A drug and sundry, if you will. Cottage Pharmacy offers a variety of products, in addition to being a full service pharmacy, that helps to fill a void in the small community. From a wide variety of vitamins and over the counter medication, to designer cologne, perfume and a stocked stationary section Cottage is great for picking up last minute gifts or cards. There is also a section of purses and fashion jewelery but I can't speak to the quality of it. One of Cottage Pharmacy's downfalls is their parking lot. It's a very small lot and difficult to get in and out of due to its location with one entrance on Jericho Turnpike and one on Woodbury Road, respectfully. This issue should be addressed once they move to their new location in Woodbury Commons late September 2011. read more

RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!! the price is right but call around and check reviews before renting from this pharmacy the only thing good about our experience with Woodbury Cottage Pharmacy was the $$ and location to our venue. In Jan the 20th to be exact we rented a transport wheelchair for this establishment. My initial contact from Ga with the pharmacy was great...she was personable, informative, and honestly kind. However, upon arriving to rental the wheelchair things were extremely different. the lady behind the counter seemed almost irritated that I was interrupting her from doing nothing. "What, do you want?" was my greeting. She walked to another counter and completed the transaction (paid in cash), with abrasive her personality... we of course paid the full week's rental fee and left. On Sunday the 23rd we were outside waiting for the pharmacy to open to return the wheelchair, at which time again the experience was not a positive one...we were informed that we should not have been charged for the full week however, the individual did not know how to accomplish the credit. We needed to get back to our hotel, back up 5 people and 6 suitcases, say our goodbyes, and head to the airport, we did not have time to wait around. NOW I'll get to the good stuff NO ONE LOGGED the wheelchair as returned and they have been charging a credit card that was never used during the original transactions since. Like any responsible person I paid my credit card balance on time which included a charge from the pharmacy Feb 1st. Thinking nothing of it until I checked my account mid-month and they had charged me again. I immediately called and left a message for Stephanie (which seemed the most likely department to deal with my issue). When she did not call me back, I pulled up my account again prior to calling her for exact date of charges and AGAIN they had charged my card...they had charged my card the 1st, 9th, and again the 15th. I called and this time again I could only leave a message for Stephanie, so 00000000000000000 got me another person and which lead to Karen, who after several minutes of discussion the mention of credit card fraud she agreed to credit. Since the individual had not logged back in the wheelchair, I was going to continue to be charged every week until I caught their error and followed up with them, which hasn't changed things much...I called on the 16th and again today to find that Karen did not do as she had said and of course unfortunately, she is out due to a family emergency. Stephanie is also out as well as the manager they the lady I spoke to today stated it will be delt with if not this week but next. RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!! before you rent from them. This mom-and-pop establishment still uses paper-pencil ledgers for inventory. Nothing wrong with that, except if that is how you choose to run your business in 2022 you need responsible personnel who know what to do and do it. read more

My family has been going here for over 20 years, and my mom gets all her prescriptions from them. Every employee is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and kind. They treat my mom like family and when she can't pick up her scripts they deliver them to her doorstep. Don't let the name fool you, they are much more than just a pharmacy. They have great trendy clothes/bags at reasonable prices and very unique gifts and jewelry. browsing around the store is always fun and no high pressure sales people. Every town should have a unique little store like this - forget the big chains!!! Shop local and Get the personalized attention you deserve. read more

I'll give 0 star! My vesicular surgeon prescribed Compression Socks to prevent blood clots, I was told by F.M. the customer representative from the Cottage Surgical Supply that I have to pay upfront for $71.99 but I can file to Medicare directly and get reimbursed. I then attached and mailed the receipt and surgeons' prescription to Medicare but the claim was rejected , I called Medicare and was told Cottage Pharmacy & Surgical is not registered as Medicare surgical home medical provider and I have to get their Medicare Supply ID number from them if they have it . I called Cottage and was told by a lady that they do not have Medicare Supply ID number for medical equipment therefore I'll not be reimbursed by Medicare. This is not a matter of misinformed, I was clearly told by the representative F.M. that I will get reimbursed by Medicare. Beware... this is a fraud to entice sales from us senior citizens. Very unethical! read more

We have been customers of Cottage for over 35 years - new owners are now operating the pharmacy. We had a house account with a Credit Card on file and we started getting statements saying we owed $340.00 without backup. I spoke with them several times about this and they claimed they changed accounting systems and to ignore the statements. We were in the store a few weeks ago and the owner ran our current card for a small charge and then claimed the charge did not go through so could they re-swipe? She then ran the card through charging an additional and separate $340.00 without authorization -- when questioned she nastily ignored our complaint. Aside from being dishonest and fraudulent this was the last time we would ever use this pharmacy and warn others to stay away!! read more

Wish I could give zero stars for this place. I rented a breast pump from them after my son was born and after three weeks of having it the Covid-19 epidemic in Long Island became worse so I called to find out if it was okay for us to return our pump a little bit past the original date due to fear of going to a pharmacy and then going home to my newborn son who had just been released from a three week stay in the NICU and is immunocompromised, when I called I was told it was not a problem and we would not be charged. Upon going to return the pump I spoke to the store manager and woman who runs the surgical supply area and both of them told me I was lying due to not remembering the name of the employee I spoke to and forced us to pay for an extra month (even though we did not have it the entire month) they were both very nasty and condescending telling me I should call their credit card company's and try that lie on them to get some money back for them to try and mock me. Insanely unprofessional, disrespectful and had no regard for the current epidemic going on. Never the type of person to be upset enough to leave a review but this was a whole other level of nasty. read more

cottage pharmacy is a really nice pharmacy store boutique I have picked up prescriptions there and many other items - they have a huge front section with designer perfumes, cards and some really high end hair care/ make up its a really cute little store in Woodbury behind White House black market store, I tend to spend more money here than at a typical regular pharmacy store but it's only because they offer a wide array of items - if I'm in the area I usually stop by if I need something from there I would give 5 stars but I did minus 1 for the higher prices read more
