I stopped by the Walgreens Pharmacy to get my flu shot. I made an appointment ahead of time but wasn't sure if the pharmacist was out to lunch or if the pharmacy was closed. There wasn't a sign posted for hours of operation or for a lunch break. I asked an associate and he wasn't sure. There was another women waiting to pick up her prescription and she stated that the pharmacy would open at 2pm. A second woman stated that sometimes the pharmacy is closed for the day so you never know. We all decided to wait until 2pm but a sign can easily solve this issue. read more

Hold times more than an hour. Took me and my doctor two days of calling and holding to get meds filled post operation. Been getting same meds for years and every time they charge me wrong price - don't keep any important data on file. Always a fight and no one knows whats going on. Tried to call and reach store manager to let them know how bad customer service is and hung up after holding 1/2 an hour. Never setting foot in this store again - do yourself a favor and do the same. Walgreens has become the worst pharmacy in America. The service here approaches slightly above a prison. You will wait in line, you will not get the drugs you need, you will have problems with your insurance, and you will waste a ton of your personal time. I've waited in my car for over an hour to get my medications. Once, I even called the pharmacy waited ten minutes with no answer and literally drove to the Walgreens twenty minutes away with it still on hold and asked the person at the window why no one was answering my phone call. My 75 year old gma had major oral surgery and was told by her doctor to take pain meds around the clock. Well. Walgreens had other plans when they decided to make a huge ordeal over the script she was given. Then we had the surgeon call the pharmacist to confirm the script and they had her wait for 40 mins on hold. Then told us after all was confirmed that we will need to wait another 2 hours for this script. When asked for a supervisor we were ofcourse told he was not there. Now my grandmother is sitting in agony waiting for her script to be given. These people are despicable . Photo in store and on line departments and phone staff operators: I went on line I ordered pictures that a friend was to pick up at the store. I planned on paying it on line. As soon as I hit pick up at store, it lost the option to pay. I called the store offering to pay over phone. The girl there chattered on with useless words in essence saying that was not an option. I politely asked 3 times to speak to a manager. Seems he did not want to take the call and asked her to do it. I have a credit for 4 dollars on the mywalgreen account which showed in my email but did not give me access to use it. I had wished to ask the manager about this but I was told call 1800 Walgreens . I did. After many prompts I got a representative. After explaining, she put me in a grid for the on-line walgreens. 16 minutes after that, I was told by the woman on the phone, nothing anyone can do to assist. One has to now go to the store to and pay for the pictures. Good thing they really care about people coming out with Covid. They set themselves up to fail. They do not even have proper software for an option of payment. Their people are uncooperative and THIS is what the public sees when they reach out to the company. read more

All I can say is bad customer service from photo department/FedEx. There was this elder lady named Ba__hi who has some "Customer Service Associate" or something on the tag as her title - not going to disclose her full name. She was more concerned about her own purchase and applying discount on her own purchases versus helping out the employees and customers. When asked if she can login to the system to help a customer out she had to change her password and was not capable of doing it. The employee was going to change the password for her. Talk about good security hygiene. At the end they couldn't get on to the system and had to turn the customer away. Avoid this department. read more

I was surprised when I saw the ratings for this store. They're all about the pharmacy and the drive-through; that makes sense, as I can't comment. The rest of the store is well-stocked and clean, and the staff is pretty good. It sometime takes a while to get someone at the photo spot, but I'd say overall that I've had very good experience with this spot. But again, I haven't dealt with the two apparent trouble spots. read more

I've had multiple problems with delays, forms being faxed to the wrong doctor, employees not following up like they say they would do and I even took home a prescription that had fewer pills than indicated, and when I brought it back they said they were short and would've made it up to me - even though I had to bring it to their attention. They have made several mistakes with my prescriptions and never follow up, after an initial fax, with the doctor for refills.
