I never leave reviews, but I can't given begin to tell you the amount of rudeness every single staff at this pharmacy has. To be clear not the store staff, just the ones that work in the pharmacy. I'm gonna try to keep this very short because I've had numerous of terrible experiences. They're just disgustingly rude and have so much attitude from the moment you open your mouth to say hello. They wont even say hello back. They just say out your number in. SMH I don't care how unhappy or underpaid you are. There's no excuse to treat the customers that help keep your business afloat the way they do. If you don't like your job, just leave it. It's that simple. Demonstrate some basic competence & integrity. I had a prescription for cough syrup, but this CVS pharmacy put it in a defective bottle which leaked out all the contents, and then refused to take responsibility for their mistake. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

The staff here are always helpful. Often times there is a long wait on line to get your prescription. People often blame the staff - people should instead be thankful a professional staff who are always willing to help you out. The head pharmacists are knowledgeable and very helpful in trying to get the best value for your prescriptions. You can get vaccinations here too. Wow, I've been using my nearby pharmacy CVS with a lot of difficulties and I finally found this CVS pharmacy in Hicksville, open 24 hours a day seven days a week. The workers are knowledgeable and very kind and helpful. And it's worth the extra couple of blocks to travel. Prescriptions are always done on time. They try to get as many of my prescriptions together so I don't have to make multiple trips. My old Pharmacy on Wantagh Avenue did not do that. Bravo to you guys. I have recommended many people to start going to this CVS versus the other ones. read more

Came to the pharmacy and they said prescription was done over the phone. I have now been waiting for 30 min +. Unacceptable.

So in all fairness I never had a problem until recently. A make staff that works the night shift seems to be narcissistic. At 10.00pm at night this man answered the phone put ke on hold for 10 minutes came back answered and told me.after I told him we spoke the night before about a glucose kit to hold again. So while I'm holding now for 20 mins I decided I had enough time to write the review. Last night when I called and ask this man if he saw my script in the system he told me no. It wasn't after I called back 30 mins later and read to him the mychsrt message that the story changed. He now claimed that he never told me he didn't see the script but that it was not covered. I asked him to transfer over the kit and he didn't. Tonight when I call back he insisted he called over the script. So after now holding for 30 mins. This man who calls himself Chris says to me. Listen it's after 10 and I'm extremely busy so let's get it over with. He sounds Caucasian but I can't be 100% sure. I don't think this Christopher has the right attitude or professionalism to work at CVS. CVS for the most oart at other locations have been extremely helpful to me. CVS has a rewards program. For a fee. With monthly fees to your credit card and tax 5.49 is charged. Then, you get a 10 dollars month credits to use on a given day. Problem is if you use your credit and need to return items , you get " it's not my fault it's the system" from management. You can NOT get credit of points or coupons or cash, if you return said items.Yeah they have certain items 20 % off but many items have a sale or buy one get one 50% off. Often they don't have stock for a duration of time.cvs brand isn't always the quality of other main brands. You can get paper coupons like buy 4 Hallmark cards for 2 dollars off. Have you seen the prices of each card lately? Cvs has been my weekly if not daily go to. Looks like I'll have to make some adjustments. After all , it's the system! read more

Id give zero if I could. I crawl in , literally due to the extensive pain I am in. They do not have the medication I needed, so I crawled to pharmacy to ask a question with literal tears in my eyes. Some snotty young lady yells " come back at 2!" I just have a question its a yes or no. " Come back at 2!' Come back the f ing 12 th of never. This store is currently under full renovation but still operating 24 hours a day. Lisa, the pharmacy technician was very helpful and friendly, something I rarely receive at most stores. There's a huge black bag hanging from the ceiling to the floor in the back of the store which looks suspect but I figured it had to do with renovation. The smell in there was horrid; they had a pretty good sale but I couldn't indulge and left after using Money Gram. Oh, a perk; they do offer Money Gram services unlike most CVS stores so that's a plus. I'm confident the complete renovation will prove fruitful, sadly I won't be here long enough to enjoy it. read more

It was just OK. If you use GPS expect to be given the wrong directions. I was warned but did not listen to the warning. The store does face Smash Burger so stay in your right hand lane after the IKEA and you will be fine. If this store had a remodel you sure cannot tell it by the outside. The strip mall looks very dated and the store itself has a bit of a musty smell. The one good thing about this store is that IKEA is right down the street and the soon to be new location of Chik-Fil-A is opening soon in front of IKEA. Not that I would come out here just for a chicken sandwich and strange furniture, but it is a possibility. Getting in and out of this location is a crap shoot as traffic is really terrible. I came in the front of the parking lot and exited the side of the parking lot and both areas were traffic nightmares. All I can say is be super cautious. read more

I want to write about the amazing attentive service I received. I mean not only was I followed around the store, I was also watched like a hawk to make sure I didn't steal, ugh I mean didn't miss any items as I rang up my chocolate bar and back pain patch. Next time instead of worrying about what a hardworking tax paying customer is doing, you may want to focus on how filthy your store is and invest in a carpet cleaning service. Pharmacy etc. This CVS location does a banging business and is always jammed. Laid out like the rest of the the locations, finding what I needed was quick and easy. The place, due to the 24 hour operation and perpetual crowds, looks a bit worn and can be shabby, especially on a busy Saturday but the long lines move pretty quickly. I don't give a bad review for one bad experience or even multiple bad experiences when a store has been better in the past. But for the last two years this location has slowly been getting worse to the point now where there is not hiding that their objective is to cheat their way to a better bottom line by purposely trying to prevent customers from using CVS coupons. They have check out machines that increasingly don't work and if a coupon doesn't come up they tell you that you did something wrong and you lost it and it can never be redeemed. But if you loudly complain or leave the merchandise and walk away they call you back and rerun the transaction, magically discovering that you have not lost the coupons you earned. But guess what? If you DON'T set out to cheat the customers the store will do better than any scheme you can dream up. read more

I felt like the manager Tom was just rude to me. I went in there and they had a Halloween stuff and it was all coming off is 90% off. They also had additional fall stuff that was coming off is 90% off as well. They had some candles that were clearly fall merchandise as they were pumpkin flavored scented candles. I decided to go up to the front and scan the items. They did not come off as 90% off so I went to the counter and spoke to an employee who came with me to the display and agreed that it should be 90% off. When I went up to the counter to purchase the candles they man who was working as a cashier was very pleasant. He called the manager Tom over and the manager Tom was pretty rude in my opinion. He told me that the other guy wasn't right and that he shouldn't be 90% off. I explained to him that I had the guy come over there to look and he told me that the guy was wrong. The manager, Tom continue to be kind of short with me and a little rude. He wanted to apologize to me and for me to say it was fine. It was fine but I kind of wasted 10 minutes of my time picking out the candles and having my wife come in as she was waiting in the car. Tom could've made this 90% off and even if it wasn't 90% off which I'm pretty sure it should have been as one of his employees told me seconds earlier that he would make a 90% off. Really annoyed with the experience. The manager Tom didn't handle it the way I think you should of and it was my opinion that he's very short and rude with me. read more

This is my favorite CVS! The store is huge and always well stocked. The staff provides all the necessary help as needed. Denise, Courtney, Emily, Roland and the entire pharmacy staff is so friendly and helpful. My wife and I had Emily the pharmacist administer our Flu shots last August. She made us feel very comfortable and the injections did not hurt at all. This CVS is open 24 hours which includes the pharmacy. read more

THIS LOCATION IS NOT CLOSED!!! I wanted to write a review because of the horrible customer service at the pharmacy. There are one or two people that actually save this place and make it somewhat "OK". That being said - there is an older, heavyset woman that always has an arm brace on behind the counter - she is the nastiest woman I have ever encountered in my life. Whether I call my prescription in, or do it in person - if she is there it is always a hassle. I would love to do it through the app or online, but one or the other is always down, so I am forced to either call or go in and deal with this nasty woman. I have come to the point where I pretty much know her schedule and will avoid her at all costs. I'm assuming they don't pay these cashiers too much, because they are absolutely miserable with their jobs! Come on CVS get it together! read more

I called earlier in the day to have a prescription transferred from a different location and filled. They told me it would be ready later today. I came in 6 hours later and they had no record of trying to transfer it. Denise was very rude and continued on with her conversation while I was waiting to be helped at the counter and didn't even acknowledge my presence. Once she reluctantly asked what I needed she had a face with the most distain for having to do her job. But a younger gentleman intern saw my unhappy reaction and quickly filled and presented me with my prescription. read more

Packed to the gills on a nice day, this CVS is decent parking-wise and the staff hooks it up for sheezy.

I am done with CVS and their pharmacy....I have told them time and time again,over the phone and in person, I do not want auto refill, they do it any way. It has caused my prescriptions to be out of sync for the last few orders. I gave them one more chance. I called on Monday, telling them to hold a prescription I was not ready for and to order my other one. I was told that they were not sure why it was filled since it was not on auto refill! OK, will pick up both on Wednesday. "Sure, no problem. Get there, only had one filled. Why? One had expired. OK, so why was this not mentioned on Monday? "Don't know" So they go into a huddle, and then tell me that it was because they filled it early (the auto refill that was not an auto refill) and because I did not pick it up, they "put it back". OK, well take it out again. I had told the rep on Monday I was coming for both on Wednesday and it was told no problem. "No can do, its expired" Back and forth and I heard "don't know" several times. They did offer to give me a few pill to hold me over....but I knew that if I accepted that...it would screw up my future orders even more than it already was. I took my one and told them cancel anything else. I am done with CVS. He actually said to me "so you don't want this auto refilled?" I am sure I will be getting non stop text messages to pick up my one "non expired" one and reminders about my expired one. I have been with them for a few years and the past 2 years has seen a huge decline in service. I put up with it because of the convenience of 24 hour access. Making multiple trips and having debates about "expired'" refills is not worth it. read more

This is for the CVS in Hicksville on Jerusalem Ave. There is a new , I think MGR at this location and twice he has waited on me and twice been very rude. As I walked out of the store another customer made a comment on how rude he had been to her in the past. just a note................ if you go in to this CVS and BRAD is at the counter, wait for someone else to wait on you or if he is the only one at the counter, turn around and come back later if you can. The store is disgusting , I went for soap the soap was all over the shelf like soap exploded and was just left their. Everything was sticky and the Soap got on my jacket I complained that the shelf was filthy and needed to be cleaned. read more

HORRIBLE service by the pharmacy department. This is about the fifth time this pharmacy claims they never received my prescriptions when my doctors office has specifically called to confirm that the pharmacy received the faxed prescriptions. Hate naming names but Roland is beyond rude to customers and kept trying to argue saying they don't have any prescriptions for me at which point the pharmacist overheard and said yes we do have her prescriptions!!! Unbelievable customer service by a pharmacy when a patient/ client is relying on them to feel better!!! Needless to say I'll be going to duane reade from now. Spare yourself the rude nasty staff here and stay away!!! read more
