Although I was reluctant to go here first, many of the other grocery stores in this area closed down. I'm actually happy I was forced to check this place out because it is far better than the ones that I was going to. The deals are good and having a stop and shop card makes it even better. There are times where I end up saving $10-15 on everyday items. The only downside to this place is during late hours when there are not enough cashiers open. I personally don't like self check out because I feel like I become an employee for 5 minutes and majority of the time I feel like I will screw it up, especially when there are more than 5/6 items. Please do everyone a courtesy and hire more employees during the closing shift; it'll make everyone, including myself, much happier.

Specific items constantly missing from shelves. Expired items in plain view. Dirty, smelly produce aisle. Frozen foods thrown about randomly on the shelves. Incredibly surly associates in the aisles - don't dare ask them a question! The other West Babylon location on Montauk Hwy is fine. Just don't go to the one on Route 109.

The service was quick and the staff were friendly. We ordered hotdogs and lobster rolls. We did have to wait a while for the lobster rolls because the last batch was finished, which was fine with us because we knew we were going to get a fresh batch. They pack so much lobster in the roll and the butter on top was delicious. For the hotdogs we got the combo and it came with two, chips and water 5bucks. While worth it. The vibe was chill; felt like a bbq . Would definitely go back on the weekends for this treat!

I like how spacious the Farmingdale location is, even on a weekend. I struggled on the self-checkout line and the staff member was super helpful and even told me the code for my bundle of herbs after they had stepped pretty far away. Super attentive! If you get the app, you get a free ice cream cone for every $100 spent. Easy to reach that if you're buying any meat or seafood here. And a bonus surprise--I found the butter-dipped soft serve available here, so I got to try that.

Haven't found this in any of their other locations. Store is clean, fully stocked and gives a good vibe to shop. Deli department is a bit slow and understaffed , you need more help back there. Meat department has all great cuts of almost everything you are looking for. Great bakery for cakes and breads. This location is like all the others but again I feel what stands out for me and what makes it different than the others is the great Customer Service from every employee.

The deli counter is massive and the prepared food section is incredible--their rice balls, fresh mozzarella, and the hot catering trays are always on point. The bakery section is also dangerous, everything from the cookies to the fresh bread is always fresh. You can easily walk in here just looking for a loaf of bread and leave spending eighty bucks on stuff you didn't know you needed. The only reason I'm knocking off a star is because the shopping experience itself can be a total headache. If you come here on a weekend morning or anywhere near a holiday, the parking lot is a disaster and the aisles are a contact sport. It gets packed and people just park their carts right in the middle of the walkways. Prices are definitely higher than your standard supermarket too, but the food quality makes it worth the hassle for a weekend treat.
