Prices on many things are so low you'll think you've stepped back into the 80's. :-) Aldi's keeps prices low by sticking to the basics. Almost every product in the store is their own brand. But don't let that fool you into thinking that it will be generic quality clones. I have found that their fruits and vegetables are always super fresh. I love that they carry limited edition produce at certain times of the year. For instance, this past month, Cara Cara oranges were available which sell on a popular television shopping network for 6x the Aldi's price. So delicious too!! :-) Baked good are always fresh... White bread for 85-cents, a huge lattice crusted apple pie for only $5 bucks. Lots of baked goods available. Try the 7-Up cake. Delish!! The meat selection is not too vast, but they usually have decent prices and nice cuts of what they do carry. Bacon is usually cheaper than the average supermarket. The dairy is also very decent quality. I have tried their milk, cream cheese, sliced and brick cheese, as well as many of their packaged cold cuts. I would say that 85-90% of it all hit the quality and taste mark for me. The assortment of different trail mixes is quite extensive as well. I would say there are a dozen or so options at any given time and the prices are low. I usually get several different ones and then mix them into a large zip closure food storage bag when I get home. Makes for a healthy snack at arms distance whenever you need one. If you're in the area and looking to discover a new grocery shopping experience, definitely give Aldi a try. Bring a quarter to access a shopping cart. Don't worry, you get it back when you return the cart. That's another way they pass savings on to the customer. They don't have to pay someone to scour the parking lot all day for carts. That is just one of the ways they are able to pass extra savings along to the customers. I'm hooked. See you soon Aldi. :-)

When I'm looking for ingredients for Jamaican or Haitian dishes, I'll consider them and often times they have what I need. Additionally, I think this is a good local spot if you are looking for food items for Hispanic dishes. They know who their target audience. I will say some items were expensive so it's good to compare to other local businesses to get the best bang for your buck. I have been hearing from others how amazing this supermarket is. As a first time customer I was able to get free case of water. Yippie.. The parking lot is a bit small but hey I guess you have to go there at a certain time. This place was pretty crowded. Shocking to see even though I went at 1pm on a weekday. Anyway there is a shopping cart monitor standing outside. The gentleman was very courteous. There were bins of fruit located outside before you walk through the doors. This store was stocked up, very clean, items were in order. Fruits and veggies are fresh. Seafood department was so clean. I was impressed. Fish was fresh as well. Prices were pretty reasonable. I'm glad I stopped at this supermarket. I will definitely be going back again. Happy Yelping..

Anyone who knows me knows Red tomato sauce or gravy as many of my Italian friends would call it, isn't my favorite. Although for the sake of a quick Sunday pasta meal for my Mr, figured to give it a try, along with some of their fresh stuffed shells. Happy and glad to report I found a freshly made red tomato sauce that my tastebuds and stomach can handle. It wasn't overly spiced or thickened with various meats/vegetables/bread which typically shys me away from it. It was mentioned that I was getting one of the last containers for the day that had a meatball and sausage in it, but not chopped or sliced up, so that worked for me as it could be taken out and eaten separately. (The meatball was pretty tasty ;) I would recommend giving this location a try for anyone with a finicky red sauce eater like me. Not to mention their stuffed shells were indeed on point. ;) I look forward to popping in again and seeing what else I can try, as the employees behind the counter were kind and quick about servicing us and location appeared kept neat and clean.
