She helped me organize them when I got to the store and was so patient, kind, and helpful (she also helped me carry them to my car!). I loved the nautical touch with the dune grass, rope, and adorable starfish (the creative Annette touch!). Annette is so crafty, while listening to the customer, understanding the theme, and executing it beautifully. She did everything in such a timely manner, as well. I continue to be impressed with this business and will ALWAYS highly recommend to all. We need more gift wrapping services like this on Long Island. If you are nervous about the virus like me, I felt very safe in this store. All CDC guidelines are being followed (masks, gloves, contactless payments, temperature checks, hand sanitizing, social distancing). This is always reassuring these days and it's wonderful to see businesses who care about the health and safety of their customers. Thank you, Annette! P.S. Y'all need to try her chocolate covered pretzels with Reese's M&M's... absolutely delicious. She has a wide array of fresh chocolate on display that you must try!

Market At first I…read morethought that this was an Asian marketplace that landed in the Amityville- and it even appears to be so from some of the signs outside but I really had no idea what to make of the place.... Let's call it semi-Asian / semi-local market and call it a day. There was not a whole lot of Asian items there, or for that matter, were there a lot of any one kind of thing, except maybe veggies. The dry goods selection was minimally distributed in front of the meat counter, but there really wasn't much going on there. For example, there was a set shelves with an Italian brand of goods- but not too much to choose from. Same with the other shelf / stands. I didn't try the meats, though they did look decent. The aforementioned veggie area took up almost half the store and while the veggies looked fresh, I didn't see any of the packaged selections of veggies that can be found in almost any place of this type. Prices were average and since it is sitting right next to a gigantic Stop & Shop I cannot fathom why you'd go in.... Parking in the rear.

Aged a mere 60 days, once the taste of the grass fed milk touched my palate, it was all I could do to now buy everything in sight. Arlotta Food Studio from California sold oils & vinegars that tasted superior to many I have purchased prior. Costing $25. & $20 each the phrase "you get what you pay for" certainly comes into play. Mums and other seasonal flowers are well priced, the pickles didn't really do for me however I found the Italian breads to be the diamond in the rough of all the vendors. Take all of these food and flower choices, combined with great live music, Searfod Farmers Market is a must visit.

There are lots of ready-to-eat sides and meals as well, though you can shop for most anything to make great and tasty homemade dishes. The deli line can be long, however the staff is always courteous and prompt. The aisles are compact but well-organized and nicely-presented and the store is notably always very clean. Produce is especially good compared to most other grocery stores in the area. Some of my favorite pick-ups include the sliced fruit tray which consists of pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon, the mozzarella and grilled eggplant, garnished with basil and complete with an olive oil and balsamic dressing on the side, and the potato salad which is nice and chunky and not overly mayonnaise-y tasting. The meat section has a good diversity of burger types, chicken, steak and other meats and can be purchased at the counter or meat display. Additionally, I often find a well-priced special on cleaned shrimp at the seafood counter and make sure I get some fresh broccoli and garlic for a great stir-fry or pasta dish. The cheese selection is always plentiful as well, including many different types of Italian and other European cheeses. And I cannot forget to mention the olive bar, bakery section which includes some gluten/free items prepackaged in the refrigerated section as well as an aisle for gluten-free cookies, crackers and frozen gluten-free pastas (wild mushroom ravioli is my favorite pick of the frozen foods). Additionally, the general selection of marinades and other curated culinary accoutrements is impressive. I am usually there once or twice a week and it's a pleasant and easy shopping experience every time!
