King Kullen is the worst!! Their sales are hardly ever sale prices. Every single thing you buy here is about $1+ more than other stores. It feels criminal. I wish they would shut this place down. I feel forced to go sometimes in a pinch since I live so close and sometimes you just need to get dinner on the table, even if it means spending a bit more. For example a 12 pk of sprite cans costs $10 while everywhere else its $8 or less. So fed up seeing this King Kullen in a middle class neighborhood. Nobody here wants to pay your ridiculous prices! Please shut down and bring us a Shop Rite or Stop & Shop. read more

Worst customer service lady ever. Name tag; Traci. She was the rudest person I have ever come across. I got in touch with corporate. She was rude to her coworkers. Especially one coworker who was clearly in training. My 5 year old even asked what was wrong with her. Again, the rudest person I have ever come across. I looked for a store manager and couldn't locate one. I will be following up with corporate. She should not have her job and especially in customer service! I also read horrible reviews on her so I know it's not my personal, isolated, incident. read more

I had to be out in that area for a lunch with old friends. I decided to bring the hostess some bakery cookies. When I could not find a bakery, and as I was driving right past King Kullen, I decided to go in and get some baked goodies there. Where I live, the bakery in the supermarket is great. Oh boy, does the stuff look bad. Ordered one pound of cookies, at 12.00 per lb. The guy behind the counter was young with too much facial hair for me to feel comfortable with him handling food. He put the cookies in a box, I checked out, and got back in my car. Opened the box and the cookies were stale. read more

Very rarely do I see a well groomed deli person at the counter. Un contained long beard and long hair sticking out every which way with a little cap atop the head does not look like someone I want handling my food. Isn't there some kind of health code for food handlers? One look and I decided not to buy my cold cuts here anymore. Best thing about this store is the florist. Food prices are much higher than other stores in the area. I only buy necessities on sale. Store is old and could use an update. read more

The store itself is good. The clientele is terrible. Parking lot be careful, people hang around watching you. My car was broken into and gone through. They took my amazon return packages, a 30 scratch off in glove box. I'm so disgusted with these loosers that hang out in parking lot. Where is security?. Don't go bad area. read more

King Kullen on Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst is violating the Suffolk County § 692-4 law that requires an at-store plastic carryout bag collection bin be placed at or near the entrance to each store. The customer service representative told me that "they don't have one.". King Kullen should comply with the law or be penalized for violating the law. read more

I always feel like the prices are slightly higher across the board here as compared to other area supermarkets. They double coupons, including $1 ones which is nice. However, you really need a coupon for most things you plan on buying just to get some items down to a decent price. The store is clean and the staff is welcoming and helpful. Today I noticed an expired pkg of blue cheese in the cheese bin which marks the 2nd time I've encountered an expired item here. The bottle redemption machines actually spit out nickels as you return your bottles. Really??? If I had a sock I'd fill it with this handful of nickels and beat myself silly the next time I consider returning bottles here. read more

It's not a big, fancy, shiny Stop and Shop, but it's down the block and reliable. The prices are a little higher but the quality if meets and produce is always good. Great selection and everything is always in stock. It's not our go-to for big shopping trips, but the $30-$40 visits here are the sweetspot. read more

King Kullen the first Supermarket on Long Island possibly all of New York. They have a lot of quality product to choose from they're fresh Bakery that if you get there early the bread and rolls are hot right out of the oven oh so delicious they also Have A Nice produce department with all kinds of vegetables and fruits and a lot of the seasonal stuff comes from the Farms right on Long Island there's nothing like some fresh Long Island corn on the BBQ Grill with some butter they also have a nice deli department with variety of cold cuts and cheeses and different kinds of salads from potato coleslaw crab salad and all of it looks good and they're fresh meat department also has a variety of steaks and chops. The only downside I find about the store is that their prices are higher then the other supermarket but sometimes you can catch a sale which is great and the people that work there are very helpful and courteous read more

Horrible Store!!! Very Overpriced!!!!Stop and shop Is Better Selections And Fresher Food!

I needed a 1/4 sheet cake at the last minute for a friends bday on 4th of July. I tried 4 places including a local bakery and no one could help. Stopped in here and the employee behind the bakery counter was extremely accommodating and friendly. She took an order for me late afternoon for the next day. The cake came out beautiful, tasted great, everyone loved it! I am very impressed and will be using their bakery from now on. read more

This store is sooo dirty, dingy & outdated, it's amazing anyone shops there....they hardly ever have more than 2 manned registers open. They also do not carry many items that most other Supermarket chains do...also expect to pay 10-15% more here on most items than any other store. Perhaps the only good things at THIS location are the bakery and the customer service desk, which the staff is friendly and courteous. If you want to save time, money and gas, I would advise going elsewhere! read more

This may sound a bit bizarre but the bakery at this specific location is better than 95% of most stand alone bakeries out there! When I'm having a cheat day or if there's a really special occasion or celebration - I get my cakes here. read more

This is a nice store. The produce looked fresh. The store has a double coupon offer running right now. Some of the employees from the Montauk Hwy closed store are working here, so there's a good group of friendly neighborhood employees. We did some A-OK shopping. read more
