Desert Monks Brewing is such a great local brewery!…read more They have a wide variety of beer in a nice casual setting. They also do fun events here during the week like trivia on Thursdays. They have couches inside as well as a nice patio with chairs and some umbrellas for shade. Staff is always friendly and can answer any questions or make recommendations for whatever your preference is. This might be my new go-to brewery in Gilbert!

We love trying different breweries when we're traveling with friends and decided to buy a Groupon…read morefor this place since it offered 2 beer flights and 4 glass of beer for 4 ppl. Great deal too. The place is nice and decent in size. Parking was ok. It has some seating outside and some inside, along with counter top seating at the bar area and two areas with couches to relax in with friends to play games & mingle. They have a variety of games to choose from so it's also kid friendly if you bring your kids with you. They also have water and water cups to the side if you need some. The bartender who was there tonight was friendly & allowed us to take our time choosing the beer we wanted to try on our flights. Overall, some of the flavors were interesting and some weren't to our liking. Honestly, it really comes down to preference of how the flavors came through when you first sip it if you ask me. It was a hit or miss for me and my friends. Out of the 5, I did enjoy the Wy Abbo one the most since it's a guava pale ale. It had good flavors. One thing for sure though, I kind of wish all the beers on the flight were more cold. I don't know how to explain it but the temperature of it wasn't as crisp as I thought it should've been and it might've made a difference for my palate if beers came out colder. I also wish they included seltzers in their flight option. That would've allowed me to enjoy the flight more since beer can be heavy & fulfilling when you have multiple. We really wanted to like the beer options at this place but it wasn't for us. Glad we were able to test it out and for me, I only came because my husband and friends like beer.

Great selection, vibe, and - most notably - staff…read more Bartenders here are knowledgeable, personable, and all around good guys. At the risk of being labeled a beer snob, i love - LOVE - that their water dispenser has a Coors Light beer mark/handle, Great place to relax and watch a game. All the Goldwaters rock, but this one's my favorite. AuH2O forever!

After an event in the area, we were looking for a spot nearby to grab a drink. Goldwater Crossings…read morefit the bill. We made our way on a Monday night and had no trouble parking in their complimentary lot. Ambiance (4/5): I've always been a fan of breweries and this is no different. Typical brewery feel. The only difference? It's more spacious than most. There's plenty of room, which is always a good thing. Service (4/5): They weren't busy, but the bartender did a pretty good job taking care of us. I was able to order and close out without any trouble. Food (N/A): We had dinner prior, and regardless, Monday is the one night of the week they don't offer food. The rest of the week, they have various food trucks. Drinks (4/5): Whenever I'm at a brewery, I always get a flight. This visit was no difference. They have their beer listed on the wall, along with the style of beer, and the alcohol content. The beers are listed in terms of light on the left, and darker and darker as you go right. Which makes it easy to make a selection. I picked out my flight and enjoyed all of them. Goldwater Crossings has more of the IPA and dark beer varieties than my personal taste prefers, but I still had some good options. Outside of Chandler, they have another location in South Scottsdale.
