Great burritos and great coffee. Their muffins are too sweet and a little flowery. But, the service is good and the people are always friendly. There is usually a long wait and line on the weekends. Today we got there early so not too bad. *Tip: order on PCH side pick-up in back parking lot. Enjoy!

Heard a lot about this place and decided to try it today. Parking lot in the rear with a kitchen door open with a table, container of napkins and container of straws. Assumed that was the pick up for carry out orders. No sign except for "Employees only." There is a door to the dining area, but it was locked; no sign. Walked around to the front. The dining area had the door open but it was chained off with a handmade sign. Something about Saturdays and Sundays. Didn't bother to read it. Order window was in the front off Sepulveda. By the time I reached the line, two parties that parked their cars after me were ahead of me in line. Oh wait, there is a walk through from the parking lot in the back direct to the front, close to the order window. Interesting. Again, no directional signs in the parking lot to clue anyone in. Breakfast burritos is what the served with the menu on the window. I wondered about what to drink but that menu was posted inside on the wall to the right, making it difficult to read. Since there were people behind me in line, I didn't bother ordering a drink. I ordered a Veggie Burritto and went through the walk through to the parking lot to wait for my order. It didn't take long so I guess it's just the new customers that don't know how it works and where to go. Ok, bye.

I've always thought breakfast burritos were okay or good, but this one.....the best I've had! It hit the spot & everything inside it was really good. Walking up to the window to order, the service was easy, fast, & great! I ordered the carne asada breakfast burrito & I could go for another one if I could, as I'm writing this. The hash browns were perfect in each bite along with everything else in it! Will definitely have to come back again when I'm back in town!

Came on a Friday morning with a little bit of line to order though it went pretty quickly. We heard a lot of hype about their burritos so we were pretty excited to finally try them. They told us it would take about 15 minutes to get them so we waited in the car. My husband came back out at 15 minutes and waited by the pick up area. He saw two people order then get theirs before him. He went up to the window and it turned out they forgot to make our order. Finally after 30 minutes with no one else waiting he got his order. He asked if they put the salsa on the side like he had asked and they ended up having to remake it again because they forgot. As for the food, I think it was pretty mid. I agree with other reviews that it tastes like something you could easily make at home. It was lacking flavor and salsa didn't really help. The size didn't help as well. It was underwhelming for the price you are paying. Unfortunately a pretty disappointing experience.

Nasty mushy burrito

Sad to say, Phannys is no longer what it once was. Went at 11am on a Thursday, it was relatively empty. My burrito came out in 5 mins, I continued waiting for my coffee and watched everyone who ordered after me received their coffee before me. After 15 mins I checked in, guy said he was making it. Then he proceeded to give me the wrong coffee, at this point im set back 20 mins and ask for a refund because I have no time to wait there like an idiot again. Then I bite into the burrito, and it's absolute garbage mush. It used to have a crispy hash brown, you would be able to differentiate the sausage, from the egg, to the cheese and the crispy hash. Now its just a nasty thick tortilla and mush inside for about $16. It's so freaking heart breaking, this place was such a gem for so long and now its just slop with shitty service and bumbling employees who can't offer good service.

Apparently it's the spot for burritos, never knew so happy I do now!

Came here because the reviews and I was in the area. I must say they did not disappoint. We recommended to get the Asada burrito and it was flavorful, it looks small but I was totally satiated. The service was good. Prices were more than I care for $16 for a burrito, I'd feel better if it came with a basic lemonade. Signage of where to pick up and place your order would be helpful. Nonetheless, I'd come back.

Killer breakfast burritos and coffee. Great salsa, ask for extra. Full espresso and cold brew options. Friendly welcoming service. Take out only, no seating.

Very solid breakfast burrito - my friends showed me this place since they are locals and this is their go-to breakfast burrito place. Spots like this make me wish I had more breakfast burritos options back in NYC. Homey, not fussy, and soft tender eggs with warm tender hash potatoes inside as well. Delicious and I scarfed it down. I also didn't feel too heavy afterwards, either. The tortilla was tasty and light too. The chorizo was nice and savory/salty too. Would for sure come back here on my next trip to the area. I'm already salivating dreaming about these solid burritos from the south bay. They're also near the beach so they're the perfect location to grab a bite before you go off to grab some sun, or perhaps after!

Another great burrito at Phanny's! my go to is always the carne asada burrito - filled with meat and crispy hash browns. you can now order ahead online for faster and easier pick up! always perfect to grab and bring to the beach. pairs great with the iced hazelnut coffee!

Love love love Phanny's! The sizes of the burritos are just right, the flavor is unbeatable. My husband and I hunt for breakfast burritos all around the South Bay and there just aren't any that beat Phanny's. They offer more protein options than most places (highly recommend the pastrami or turkey sausage), there's a nice crisp in the tater tots/potatoes they use, and there's just something about the salsa. It's soo simple but it really gets the craving satisfied. Too many breakfast burrito places overdo it with the sizes and ingredients. Additional plus is that it has its own (small) parking lot, and the beach is just a walk away - you can truly get a top tier SoCal experience. Who doesn't love a good breakfast burrito on the beach???

Am I able to preorder on an app and/or by phone?

Hi. Unfortunately we do not have that service available. You can definitely call us though and we can set the order up for you, and email or text you the invoice for pre pay. Thanks!

The prices of everything includes egg, what can vegans order here without paying for eggs? thanks

If I were vegan I would probably find another place to eat that actually has food on the menu that is specifically vegan.

Do they offer soy-free options?

The soy chorizo is the only soy option they have. Everything else would be soy free.

Do they take phone orders?

Yes they do!

How is the store operating during COVID?

All orders placed and picked up from walk up window. Closed on Sundays

The new staff is super harsh or just straight rude to a lot of customers. Sometimes impatient with new customers that stand too long trying to figure out what to get. My very last issue was a staff member whipping sweat from her uncovered head as she was making my sandwich. (I'm still waiting for that drink and sandwich refund from MONTHS ago) from corporate. I sent it back they brought the same sandwich out. They have been making the drinks incorrectly (because they are always training new staff since the fall and it's almost spring). Then that staff leaves after a short stint. They keep flying through managers since Daniel T left. One left after just a few weeks without warning. It's on the wall by their orange trashcan from a woman probably tossing their tampon from a seated position. Their tables are often dirty lately. They did recently get new seats. Coffee beans are very good but, when you can't enjoy the location anymore it over shadows everything that's good. I spend 200-300 at a time for coffee beans. I can't even walk in to get a bag without your newest male staff member being very short with you at the register. I'm not sure why. I miss the smiles. I miss the baristas that really got to know you. What happened?
