This is my favorite petsmart. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The store is always well stocked and super clean. I actually live near another one but I prefer coming here because they always have plenty of help. This petsmart has a Banfield Hospital attach to them. I've not used this particular one before but in the past I have used them from time to time. I have cats so I prefer taking them to a veterinarian that specializes in feline. This is a personal preference and it does not reflect upon Banfield's services. When I used them in the past. They were very good. They share a parking lot with Trader Joe Office Max, Honey butter and Cakes By Darcy. So at times parking can be a hassle. Watch out when you are backing out of your parking space because the spaces are a bit tight and during peak times they are pedestrians everywhere especially children!! Does PetSmart have a decent amount of cat toys and cat furniture. Do you have a good selection of alternatives cat liter such as corn, walnut, and paper. I come here for Hill's Science Diet urinary food. This particular food used to be prescription only. So I am very happy that I can buy a right off the shelf. My only complaint is sometimes they only have one cashier working and the lines can get a bit long but if you say something to them they will open up another line.

Terrible grooming and customer service . The first time I took my dog he looked nothing like what I had asked for. I was pretty desperate and went back a second time and they butchered his hair yet again. They told me to take my dog to the vet next time because he's too fussy and anxious. So they sent him home with long hair on his front legs and short on the back? It is pretty comical how he looks and how I was still charged full price.

View from the ridiculous parking lot, which was designed by a committee of unemployed circus clowns.

Nice enough and helpful staff. Store is kind of dim. The parking lot, bizarre. Matter of fact, the parking lot is so incredibly awful that it is noteworthy. I've seen this sort of foolishness elsewhere, so it isn't unique to Roswell in general, or this PetSmart store in particular. Acute angles, lanes and spaces situated as if the planning for the mess was done with a handful of Pixie Stix: some "architect" or other equally over-credentialed moron had a handful of Stix, threw them at a mock-up of the shopping center, and exclaimed, "Gobsmackers! That looks like a wonderful plan! Let's build THAT!" You should never hire weapons-grade retards to design your multi-million dollar shopping development. Anyway. Checkout is a breeze here and the employees are quite nice. It's always entertaining to see other people with their pets walking around in public.

The primary instruction was getting your dog's attention, the commands - sit, down, off, leave it, drop it and loose leash walking. Overall I was pleased with the overall instruction and experience. They did a good job of making sure the dogs didn't invade another dog's space. Homework was sent out each week to work on in sessions with the dog and this helped prepare for the next week's session. Would recommend.

We signed up for the two week board and train as a last effort with minimal expectation. All I can say is WOW!!! Tracy has been exceptional from start to finish and the follow up after he was home was icing on the cake! She followed up daily to give us a report with photos and videos and continued to check in for weeks! We have the sweetest dog and our family could not be happier with our decision to put our pup into doggie school here!! The grounds are sprawling and beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the value far exceeded my expectations. We paid $995 per week, so about 2K total. I looked at some other programs which were about 2,800 with kinda crappy looking properties and very pushy sales people. We are forever grateful to ADT and Tracy! Thank you for our "new" dog!

I found A Canine Affinity from a recommendation in a Facebook group. I had recently adopted a dog…read morefrom the shelter and I suspected she had separation anxiety, so I was looking for someone that was specialized in it. The advice online is confusing and conflicting -- from keeping your dog in a crate or letting them free roam, giving them a kong toy before you leave to not giving them anything, etc. So I scheduled a consultation with A Canine Affinity to learn more about the trainings and determine if it was in fact separation anxiety, or just normal decompression from the shelter. Melissa was wonderful right from the beginning and was very thorough and explained everything very clearly. You can tell she has a passion for this area. I decided that it wasn't too early and it couldn't hurt to do the initial assessment and get some good foundation to try to nip the separation anxiety that she in fact was showing. Melissa built us a solid plan and gave great advice on things like how and where to get my dog situated before I leave, stress body language, desensitization trainings, etc. I'm excited to share that my dog, Birdie, can now be left alone for about 1 hour and she lays down on her bed that's right near the door I leave from while I'm away (although she is still very alert/has her eyes on the door). I even saw her on the camera lay her head down for about 30 seconds, which is such a small thing, but such a BIG WIN! It means Birdie is starting to get a little more comfortable alone. I find myself so proud of my dog and celebrating her small wins, which has been the most rewarding part of this training. Birdie does regress every once in a while, which I'm told is normal, so I am trying to take it one day and one week at a time. Birdie has made HUGE strides and is building confidence and comfort being alone. Just 5 months ago, she couldn't even be left alone for 30 seconds without pacing, howling, scratching at doors, and having accidents in the house. So thankful for Melissa and the wonderful foundation she set me up with. We'll continue with our trainings and hope Birdie continues to progress over the next few months, but if she doesn't, I won't hesitate to reach out to Melissa for some more trainings and guidance. Thank you Melissa, you are a lifesaver!

I love that she is truly an advocate and voice for pets. She has a lot of patience for both me and my dog - and that is definitely what we needed. My dog was very fearful and was scared of everything in the world. My dog would panic and freak out on her walks, afraid of strangers. Through private trainings and her "while you're away" day training - I saw my dog becoming more confident, and is enjoying her walks more and is not freaking out at every little thing. Melissa helped me understand dog behavior more, what my dog needs with a lot of positive reinforcement. She helped me set realistic expectation and taught me tools that is helpful in the long term.

Thankfully, he was staying at Puppy Haven. The staff noticed right away that something wasn't right. They called me immediately, stayed calm, explained what they were seeing, and reassured me that they were taking action. They quickly transported him to a local urgent care vet they knew and trusted (who was also amazing). What really blew me away was what happened next. An employee stayed with him at the vet to hear the diagnosis, learned that he needed to be transferred to an emergency hospital for surgery, and then personally took him there as well. Since then, they've checked in multiple times to see how he's doing. It was honestly a pretty awful situation, but Puppy Haven made it so much better. Their attentiveness, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond for one of their dogs is something I'll never forget.
