She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

My truck broke down and had to be repaired in Maryland so we were a week late getting back. I knew the food would run out so I called and spoke to the manager. My dog was on a special diet. I told the manager to go to Hamby Road Animal Hospital to get more food and have them call me for my credit card. No one followed through and when we got back my dog had lost two pounds because she wasn't getting enough to eat. It was very noticeable when I picked her up. Then Covid started and the lobby shut down. There were less employees too so for years now I've never seen the dogs outside like I used to. Plus our dog seemed hoarse the second to last time she was boarded there which struck us as odd. Last March 2023, I had to have surgery. We boarded our dog for only two nights. When she was picked up, not only was she hoarse again but she had to poop 3 times in a row. So we surmised she was put in her room and ignored. She would only bark if she need to go out or wanted her play and walk times I was paying for. Our dog was so well house broken that she held her poop and barked to be taken out so much she got hoarse. We decided that she would never go there again. She is dead now from cancer but the two trips we made last year before she got sick, we took her with us. We decided not to use this place anymore.

(German Shepard, Cavalier, and Berniedoodle.). My dogs get excited when we pull up which always makes it a little easier to leave them. Grooming onsite is also a perk. My Berniedoodle went through the entire training program (2 sessions, including off leash) and is one of the most well mannered and obedient dogs I've ever had. My Cavalier is a lazy sack of potatoes! She just loves everyone, so we only did basic training and that's all she needed. Not many reviews but everyone was 5 stars. I was encouraged so I set up an 8am to 4pm trial run. Cue loved it. What gorgeous country grounds and the facilities were amazingly spotless. The staff is incredible. Efficient, knowledgeable and very caring are a few descriptions that head the list of many qualities they have. His first overnight was a very relived success. Yes they sent pics of him every day. I don't think his feet ever touched the ground as all the photos were of him being held by by different staff members (lol). Immaculate facilities. When I asked why no pet odors, the staff member simply replied , "the owner won't allow it". My pet will not be going anywhere else and I'm so glad he has found such a wonderful boarding facility. Thank you Pampered Pet Care for the love and kindness you give our pets and treating them like they were your own.

Last year, we adopted a beautiful, neurotic, sweet, NEEDY Great Dane puppy out of an abusive situation, little realizing the love and attention he would require. While it has been a pleasure to watch him bloom, we couldn't find quite the right fit for a caregiver to use during our frequent travels. Discovering Linda by chance may have been the best thing that ever happened for our pretty boy. From the very moment we met her, it was apparent that she is an expert "Doggy Whisperer" who has a very special bond with animals, including our Denver. He loves spending time with her and romping in her gorgeous backyard, a place we call puppy heaven! Linda genuinely loves the animals in her care and treats them as her own. Additionally, she sends us photos and videos of our boy when we're away - sometimes it looks as if he doesn't miss us at all! Then making appointments for grooming or bathes or anything is always a struggle. Then like today when you do get an appointment for your baby to be groomed and pampered... at 9 on a Sunday... you show up and they say that the groomer is not going to be here. Oh but supposedly they sent emails or texts last Thursday to get the apts rescheduled... NOT!! We have nothing... and this is not the first time this has happened! This location could be so great, But the true customer service is CRUD! If you have to reschedule... you need to call the people who you have the appointments with! Make sure they know... and most of all figure out how to answer your phones!! I guess I am going to have to find a new place... the only thing places like this understand is when they start losing customers. Such a shame!

The primary instruction was getting your dog's attention, the commands - sit, down, off, leave it, drop it and loose leash walking. Overall I was pleased with the overall instruction and experience. They did a good job of making sure the dogs didn't invade another dog's space. Homework was sent out each week to work on in sessions with the dog and this helped prepare for the next week's session.
