My dog was brought in to board from Sept 3-9. When I brought her in on Sept 3, I left written…read moreinstructions that said the following: Give Trazadone half a pill once a day at bedtime. She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

(German Shepard, Cavalier, and Berniedoodle.). My dogs get excited when we pull up which always makes it a little easier to leave them. Grooming onsite is also a perk. My Berniedoodle went through the entire training program (2 sessions, including off leash) and is one of the most well mannered and obedient dogs I've ever had. My Cavalier is a lazy sack of potatoes! She just loves everyone, so we only did basic training and that's all she needed. It's great that you can do what you feel is best for you and your lifestyle without any pressure.

While most places are hesitant to board a German Shepherd, after Moonlight met Christine, she immediately followed her commands and have bonded with both of Christine & Kevin. They play with her and take her on walks - two of Moonlight's favorite activities. Moonlight has separation anxiety issues, but she has found a second home at Crabapple Bed & Bones. For a dog who doesn't even let other people touch her, on her most recent visit, Moonlight came home nicely shampooed and groomed. Not many reviews but everyone was 5 stars. I was encouraged so I set up an 8am to 4pm trial run. Cue loved it. What gorgeous country grounds and the facilities were amazingly spotless. The staff is incredible. Efficient, knowledgeable and very caring are a few descriptions that head the list of many qualities they have. His first overnight was a very relived success. Yes they sent pics of him every day. I don't think his feet ever touched the ground as all the photos were of him being held by by different staff members (lol). Immaculate facilities. When I asked why no pet odors, the staff member simply replied , "the owner won't allow it". My pet will not be going anywhere else and I'm so glad he has found such a wonderful boarding facility. Thank you Pampered Pet Care for the love and kindness you give our pets and treating them like they were your own.

Last year, we adopted a beautiful, neurotic, sweet, NEEDY Great Dane puppy out of an abusive situation, little realizing the love and attention he would require. While it has been a pleasure to watch him bloom, we couldn't find quite the right fit for a caregiver to use during our frequent travels. Discovering Linda by chance may have been the best thing that ever happened for our pretty boy. From the very moment we met her, it was apparent that she is an expert "Doggy Whisperer" who has a very special bond with animals, including our Denver. He loves spending time with her and romping in her gorgeous backyard, a place we call puppy heaven! Linda genuinely loves the animals in her care and treats them as her own. Additionally, she sends us photos and videos of our boy when we're away - sometimes it looks as if he doesn't miss us at all! The excited barks and yelps and wags as we approach her driveway before a drop off tell the whole story: Denver loves Linda, and that's so much more than we could ask for.

Then making appointments for grooming or bathes or anything is always a struggle. Then like today when you do get an appointment for your baby to be groomed and pampered... at 9 on a Sunday... you show up and they say that the groomer is not going to be here. Oh but supposedly they sent emails or texts last Thursday to get the apts rescheduled... NOT!! We have nothing... and this is not the first time this has happened! This location could be so great, But the true customer service is CRUD! If you have to reschedule... you need to call the people who you have the appointments with! Make sure they know... and most of all figure out how to answer your phones!! I guess I am going to have to find a new place... the only thing places like this understand is when they start losing customers. Such a shame!

The primary instruction was getting your dog's attention, the commands - sit, down, off, leave it, drop it and loose leash walking. Overall I was pleased with the overall instruction and experience. They did a good job of making sure the dogs didn't invade another dog's space. Homework was sent out each week to work on in sessions with the dog and this helped prepare for the next week's session. Would recommend.

She followed up daily to give us a report with photos and videos and continued to check in for weeks! We have the sweetest dog and our family could not be happier with our decision to put our pup into doggie school here!! The grounds are sprawling and beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the value far exceeded my expectations. We paid $995 per week, so about 2K total. I looked at some other programs which were about 2,800 with kinda crappy looking properties and very pushy sales people. We are forever grateful to ADT and Tracy! Thank you for our "new" dog!
