My dog was brought in to board from Sept 3-9. When I brought her in on Sept 3, I left written…read moreinstructions that said the following: Give Trazadone half a pill once a day at bedtime. She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

(German Shepard, Cavalier, and Berniedoodle.). My dogs get excited when we pull up which always makes it a little easier to leave them. Grooming onsite is also a perk. My Berniedoodle went through the entire training program (2 sessions, including off leash) and is one of the most well mannered and obedient dogs I've ever had. My Cavalier is a lazy sack of potatoes! She just loves everyone, so we only did basic training and that's all she needed. It's great that you can do what you feel is best for you and your lifestyle without any pressure.

Firstly when we walked in Lauren came around to meet Georgia and took the time to let her smell her and she talked to her . Once Georgia was more comfortable with Lauren she slipped the lead around her neck. I had to walk towards the door for Georgia to go BUT as soon as she went through the door , Lauren had complete control . I usually ask for 2 people because of her weight and her fear but Lauren was confident and asked me if she could try herself. I was fine with that because my baby seemed relaxed and comfortable with her . I walked outside the building to make it easier for my baby and me . When I walked back in Georgia was behind the counter with Lauren and when Georgia saw me she put her paws up on the counter. She looked adorable relaxed and happy (and like she worked there LOL ) Not even my vet can trim her nails so it's a blessing that pet play place is there to do it . They have qualified , compassionate and amazing people for me to trust my dog with . I highly recommend them . But always be upfront and give them any info that will help them take care of your dog better.( like me telling them Georgia's fear of nail cuts and strangers) Thank you Lauren for being so amazing with my baby . Their webcams are great and I have often obsessed over watching my dogs via webcam for longer than I care to admit. Now grooming services has always been top notch. Our groomer was Laura and we loved her. She has since left the company and we're devastated. She knew exactly how to grrom our baby every time we brought her in. The replacement groomer was great too. I have no issue with him but since Laura left, it seems to be harder and harder to get a grooming appt. I don't know if they just aren't staffing up enough to support grooming services. As I write this review, the next available grooming appt is not until 2 months in the future. I've been coming her for years but now I will have to find a new spot and am sad to say it. Thanks Pet Paradise for years of good service. Perhaps I will return when grooming timelines aren't months out.
