This was my first time & I wouldn't go back. Customer service stinks on a Sunday in Roswell!! They really didn't look me in the eye. They only spoke to me if I spoke to them. I have a large golden retriever so bathing at home can be difficult. I really like that you can bathe your own dog so it's not as expensive as someone else doing it and they have all the things you might need. Towels, different shampoos and conditioners, blow dryers, cologne, all the things. Biscuit has gotten a bath and grooming from the staff once and everything went well. If you have a large dog and don't want to spend the extra money for someone else to bathe and blow dry them, I definitely recommend this place. read more

Terrible. Inconsistent pricing, constantly poor communication, rude staff. They don't take good care of the dogs. When walking dogs to and from the front I've seen multiple employees, yank, tug, jerk and drag dogs to the point of yelping and coughing from being grabbed too tight. This is a great place to take your dog for a bath or nail clipping. We have used the large tubs where you can wash your dog. They provide the soap and dry towels. It's a fairly good deal if you don't want to wash your dog at home. Most recently, we have taken both of our dogs in to have their nails clipped. It's $14 if they use the dremel tool. It only takes a few minutes, and my dogs are better behaved for the technicians at That Dirty Dog. They have a loyalty program. You can enter your phone number on the keypad when you enter. They reward you with points which can be used for future discounts. read more

Our old doggie Thor (Great Pyrenees) has a skin condition. We purchased a five self-wash plan. First wash was great. On second wash he pooped in house. So embarrassed, but he is super old for his breed so he has a control issue. They were so sweet about his accident and helped us clean it up. The crew said it was their job to clean, but I helped as a responsible dog lover. At wash time, he decided 'oh, no not again' Pyrs are very stubborn. One of the stronger guys helped us lift him into the bathing area . After bathing ,he is overly fluffy and blowing fur everywhere during the drying process. There was so much fur flying around that we had to stop and ask the team to do a half-time vacuum. No problem. Great crew. read more

So I wanna start of saying I was more nervous than my pup since all the pet smarts had horrible reviews in ga ( we just came back from Florida ) This was our first visit here and everyone was super nice and helpful the pups there all looked super calm and mine was a little nervous when I dropped her off but super happy when I picked her up... she was soooo soft and clean and even had a cute little bandanna , we didn't get a cut this time but next time cause there definitely will be a next time we will get the full shebang so glad I chose to go here. Now that Jessie is gone, this place is intolerable. They are always booked out weeks in Future and even though this place is super conveniently located, I just can't anymore. In reading reply, I would say comments were reasonable... provided the street went both ways. After waiting WEEKS for every appointment, I've been cancelled at last minute and rescheduled for weeks in future. Once rescheduled with a groomer that didn't do a good job and I had to return. You really have no idea how Disappointed I am to have to find a new groomer... I put up with a lot because I loved coming there. This place is awesome!!! Got the pups a little dirty at the dog park. Didn't want to bring them home to mama looking bad. Stopped by to try the self wash. Got the hook up and help from the most excellent staff. Noticed there were a bunch of folks coming in for grooming too. Nice clean hip facility. Great equipment and shampoo. We have been loyal customers for a few years, and I have referred many friends. I don't know what has happened??? Today, my dog was at Dirty dog for 1 1/2 hours and I received a call that she was matted and they didn't want to spend 2 hours brushing her out. So I said I will just come get her and said thank you and hung up ( I did not say goodbye) she just had a bath and brush out a week ago from them, there wasn't a mat on her. This is where it gets even better. I get out of my car with a mask on to get her.... I'm down petting her and the person that was supposed to be her groomer told me she does not tolerate abusive behavior or someone hanging up on her. I think she was nervous because I just told her I was going to come get here. * she most likely just wanted to shave her all the way down... we usually have Henderson as our groomer and he has always been super nice. Unfortunately I think a few things have happened here... they are taking way to many dogs in at a time and they are hiring some bad people. read more

This place is great - I came from out of town and am staying with my wonderful in-laws, and we brought Archie, the 80 lb mutt, but did not have time to give him a bath before we left FL! We gave him a DIY bath and it was great - everything was provided, and the aprons were so good I didn't even get wet. You get to select from different types of shampoo, and they give you everything you need to give your dog a quick and thorough bath! Don't ask Archie - because he doesn't like baths - but I loved it! I love taking our dog, Dixie, to That Dirty Dog in Roswell (they also have a John's Creek location). They've literally taken all of the hassle out of bathing your dog. They will wash your dog for you (for a bit extra), but we always wash Dixie ourselves. They large, walk-in tubs are accessible from all sides and high enough to keep you from having to bend over. That Dirty Dog provides all of the towels, shampoo, face wash, and ear cleaner and they even clean up after you. They have literally thought of everything, from special collars to keep your dog in the tub, to special towels that are perfect for cleaning out the ears. Dixie's a Great Dane, so this has made her monthly baths MUCH easier. During our visits, we have Mary trim Dixie's nails -- another service they offer. They also do full-service grooming, tooth brushing, sanitary cuts, and custom name tags. This is a GREAT place to take your dog -- it actually makes the process fun and it's highly obvious the owners and staff really care about the dogs (and their owners). read more

Went to dirty dog on Monday 7/23/12 This is after calling twice and two messages never returned I arrive at the business and go inside and blonde girl is chatting on her cell phone after five minutes of no acknowledgment of me I left . I tried again today 7/25/12 called before hand left message no call back no answer Went up there same girl chatting on phone this time in a heated argument , I waited a couple minutes , I'm ignored even more this time and felt like I was invading her privacy so I left . I'm in search for a new groomer or may have to do myself since I have realities coming in town this weekend. I'm wondering if owner is on vacation , this customer service is some of the worse neglect I've ever heard of much less experienced ! read more

We used this place twice until early this year. Harrison was very nice to start with, then the second grooming he shaved too close to our 20lb Shi poo mix private parts, namely his butt and we had to put cream on it for a week until it healed. I didn't say anything at the time, but should have. So, we rebooked our dog for a grooming and the late time window is 15 mins. I called as we were driving and explained the situation and were told as long as we get there within the 15 minute window. We arrived at EXACTLY 15 min and Harrison had already gotten into his car and left. I was very upset. I don't know why people rave about this place. All he had to do was give a moment for us to get there. His lack of flexibility by 30 seconds (I am not kidding) makes me want to give this place a bad review. read more

I brought my maltipoo in for a bath, blow dry, and teeth cleaning. They were able to make an appointment the same day, my dog was done in exactly 45 minutes just as they had promised when I dropped him off, and he looked great and was happy when I picked him up.
