Phenomenal dog grooming. Our dog is very timid. She is very calm after every appointment and the grooming is outstanding.

Ken was awesome and my dog Romeo looks adorable! Ken was knowledgeable and listened to my requests on the haircut, which he followed to a T. Romeo was ready in a few hours and I couldn't be happier with the cut. Also, Ken pointed out a skin issue my dog was having that I wasn't aware of because of his thick coat and tailored the haircut to hide it as well until I can get him to the vet. I scheduled a grooming appointment for my pup for the second time with this spa and when I dropped him off there was only one groomer but two dogs already there. The groomer said he'll get to him when he could even though he was scheduled for a two o'clock appointment a week in advance. I didn't mind, he said he'll call me when he's ready for pickup. I went next door and 10 mins later I then get a call saying my dog is extremely aggressive and tried to bite the groomer. That's extremely hard for me to believe because my dog is a very calm and shy dog. I've owned him since birth and I have never witnessed him being aggressive towards anyone or have been told by other groomers or pet sitters, so again extremely hard to believe. I asked to be shown the cameras I was met with an excuse... my theory is the groomer was overwhelmed and wanted to enjoy his weekend. Instead of communicating that he was over scheduled or overwhelmed he made up a ridiculous lie and told me he would be able to groom my dog ever because he fears for his life.... My pup is not even ten pounds so the amount of fear he was eluding to is bogus. I also tried suggesting that he put a muzzle on him if that's an issue and he flat out told me NO! The first time I went it was a great experience second time I went I'm met with laziness, and LIES!! read more

Direct message I received from the groomer here: "Hi. Uh this is Ken from Tsuru Spa. Yep. Uh Can you just come and um pick your dog up? Cause I cannot handle him. It's not like uh too bad but he does not like the brush. But uh in the grooming process, we have to brush all the knots first but whenever just that I try to remove it, he will scream like someone like kill him. So yeah, there is nothing that I can do." This is the first groomer who has ever had an issue with my dog. He wouldn't cut my dog's hair because he didn't like the brush and was screaming. When I picked my dog up, I took the brush he was using and brushed my dog's hair with no issue right in front of him. If you can't take a different approach to brushing or maybe slow down or even try a different brush, I wouldn't call you a professional. If you can't handle the animal in general, maybe you shouldn't be in the animal business. I'd give zero stars if it were possible. Huge waste of time going here. read more

I have a Shih Tzu that is about a year and a half. After our last groomer had left our other spa, we have yet to find one I like. I found Tsuru Pet Spa and saw their awesome reviews so I thought I would try them out. I have to say, their reviews were not wrong. The spa was clean and smelled very clean. Ken was sooo nice and helpful. I told him how I wanted my boy cut and he cut him just like I asked. He looks sooo cute and smells so good!! I cannot tell you enough how happy I am that I found them!!! I will be telling everyone in this area about them! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my boy!!!!!! I sent my white dog here last Friday and have to say Ken did an amazing job to my fur baby. Ken even helped my dog to clean the anal glands which none of our former groomers ever did before.
