Four days before my appointment, I received a confirmation text - great. Then, the day before my appointment, I received another confirmation text - again, great. All good. The day of my appointment, no one showed up. I did not receive a phone call; I did not receive a text; I did not receive a returned phone call to the voicemail I left; I did not receive any returned text messages. Not sure I can say that I would recommend them with any confidence, which is a shame. read more

We booked an appointment with Candice for our Cockapoo who always has an extremely hard time with typical grooming environments like PetSmart, which led us to start grooming him ourselves at our house. However, even grooming him at home, he was still nervous and took us awhile to get through the grooming process. Candice was amazing and was extremely patient with our dog to let him get familiar with her and did an awesome job! When we used to pick our dog up from other grooming places, he would always be on edge and panting heavily and just flat out exhausted, but he came back happy and calm after the session with Candice. We even got updates during the process to let us know how he was doing. Being able to have a one-on-one groomer come to our house was a life changer for us in getting our dog groomed - especially during COVID. We couldn't be happier with the end result and will 100% be booking future appointments with the Grooming Pawlor. read more

He was kind and gentle with our aging pup and our other dog who was scared of the blow dryer (used ear muffs on him so it wasn't so noisy). Thank you Yelp for helping me narrow down the right service for dog grooming. The Grooming Pawlor was the perfect service for our dog Ricky. Darrin arrived when expected. His mobile service was stellar and he helped Ricky survive his first grooming experience. Their service is one on one which means Ricky wasn't subjected to other barking dogs or holding cages. He received an oatmeal bath, nails trimmed, anal glands expressed, ears cleaned, teeth brushed, and conditioner applied to his paw pads. Darrin said Ricky was calm and had a good experience. I've had other dogs in the past that were traumatized from the grooming experience. Ricky was his happy self and beautifully groomed. This was the first time using a mobile groomer for my Havenese. I have always taken him to a groomer until the last visit when he was given the worst hair cut! He is also 14 years old and I don't like him to have to sit in a cage where he stresses out. I was able to see him through the window while getting groomed and he seemed so happy and content. Candace the groomer was so nice and spent so much time (hour and half) fixing his previous haircut and pampering him. The final results were great! It's so much less stressful than taking him to a remote location for grooming and I dont have to deal with trying to get him in to our shower etc. He looks and feels better and so do we! Darrin and his daughter Julia were INCREDIBLE with our very timid German Shepherd mix. He's very scared of new people, but they were very patient with him and allowed him to take his time going with them to the van. They even tried to play a little ball with him in our front yard and give him pieces of american cheese (his two favorite things) to help win him over. Once in the van with them, our dog was happy as a clam. He felt very safe and secure with them and enjoyed his very special "spa" treatment. They did awesome with his bath, nails, and sani-trim...we know our dog felt 100% better and enjoyed all the special treatment. We will for sure be using them again (as long as they'll have us, ha!). (It's also worth mentioning that their covid procedures were perfect and we felt very safe. We all wore masks as we passed our dog on to them and we did not go in the van. Our yellow lab is anxious and shy. It's tough to get her out of the car to go to the vet. Candace met us at the front door. Maddie stop barking almost immediately and Candice gave her some pets and rubs. Candice took the leach and led Maddie to the van. She went up the steps into the van with little difficulty. 50 minutes later Candice walked her back to the door and we had a soft fluffy lab with trimmed nails!!! Thank you Candice!! read more
