Missy and Larry are amazing and caring groomers. They know if something has changed in your dogs skin or fur and update you. Very caring

BEWARE- DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE ! I placed one star so this post would not be hidden. Years ago this place was awesome. Now they unprofessional / overworked - and they cannot groom. I do not know what happened but they are no longer a place I would recommend. They not only butchered my yorkiepoo's hair and left him with a few scabs, they called me the next day (I believe one of the owners, a male) told me they choose who they do business with and since I am upset about my puppy's cut then I should not bring him there anymore and he hung up. I will be reporting this business to the better business bureau and continue to spread the word. read more

Missy & Larry are the best groomers I've ever had. They are very knowledgeable about grooming and dog health issues. I've gotten some good vet referrals for various things from them and Missy told me about a lipoma that grew in 6 months. I had been watching it for 18 months but it had enlarged noticeably so surgery was scheduled because of the location of the lipoma. I wouldn't take my dog to any other groomer. I've tried plenty of groomers and was not happy. Side note: Missy's daughter Sam left the shop years ago. Missy is the owner of Paws and Pearls. read more

****READ**** This is one our pups! This place tried to convince yelpers that these two dogs were the same dog! They INJURED our dog in multiple areas including his penis. He got infections from his cut and instead of this place apologizing they TRIED to deceive people! The dog they claimed as "ours" is clearly a poodle! Ours is a Shih Tzu who weighs less than 5 lbs!! He's tiny & has BROWN ears! The dog they posted looks to be 22-24 pounds!! And his ears are WHITE. Pictures speak VOLUMES! Y'all need to have some shame. Both my parents left yelp reviews and they hadn't thought of actually showing people the major DIFFERENCES in these images. Y'all need to learn to have integrity and just apologize!! - my son posted this on Facebook today! I'm proud of him for using his voice to defend one of our beloved fur babies read more

PLEASE READ!!!!! The review "Dog Lovers Beware" by the people in TX is INACCURATE: I bring my dogs (my babies) to Paws N Pearls every six weeks. Why? Because I rarely find anyone who will love my babies as much as I do. Missy and Sam are awesome. They have hearts of gold and the patience of saints. I've shown up unannounced. I've asked all sorts of questions. I even asked to see how they wash, dry and trim the dogs. In other words, I'm a helicopter mom. Anyone who knows me will tell you that. Ryan and Elena S from TX, your review is uncalled for and false. I may not be familiar with you but I am very familiar with Paws N Pearls and their exceptional care for animals. Missy would NEVER harm a dog and if she did cause a nick, she would have called you and told you. Folks, don't be fooled. Paws N Pearls is a pet caring and loving groomer. I have two happy chow chows to prove it. Tq read more

My Otis "Odie" is our little old man. At 10 years old, he usually looks his age. When I left him with these ladies, I knew they would groom him but I didn't expect them to take years off of his appearance! He's been so happy since I picked him up yesterday when usually he pouts after grooming. He seemed to really enjoy his spa day yesterday and I feel good knowing that he's so well cared for. read more

I have always taken my dog to this salon to get his grooming needs for almost two years now... and I honestly don't know why I haven't found a better place. Every time we give them direction on how we want our dogs hair cut, they never listen. I asked this past time for our pup to get shaven down completely, including his ears and tail.. and when we pick him up, what's long? His hair on his ears and tail. On top of that, that nipped my pups nails wayyy too short and when we picked him up, his quips looked bloody Not sure if it was a new stylist. They have great customer service but overall, they need better stylists. read more

We can't say enough about this place and how happy we are with the service provided for both of our boys, and he and Bogart. From the smiles that we were greeted with to the gentleness with which they handle our pets we were so happy and you can't beat the value! Our dogs looked better then when we took them to higher-priced groomers in the area. We are so happy Paws N Pearls are here and they are open and we will be regular customers. One of our dogs is a tripod and one of the girls has a tripawd so they understand special-needs of dogs and the grooming is all even and our boys are much happier. read more

I was referred to Missy at Paws N Pearls over a year from our former groomer of 20 years. She was moving further North and we wanted to find someone comparable close to our home in Alpharetta. From the minute I walked into the door with our Shitzu/King Charles Cavalier mix, I knew that our former groomer sent us to the right place. Missy is very warm and friendly. Her compassion for your pet truly shows as well as her ability to make our dog look amazing after his cut. I would highly recommend this business if you are looking for a groomer that cares about your pet and will give your pet an amazing hair cut. read more

This place is absolutely fabulous! I decided to try it after reading all the previous great reviews. I could not be more pleased. I have a big Bernese Mountain Dog with tons of fur and he sheds a lot. Not only did they have experience with my dog's breed but, they completely deshedded him and he still smells so good! (It's been 4 days since he was groomed). I was so happy with the job that I took my other dog, a collie mix, also with a lot of fur, the next day and they did another fantastic job with him. I loved how I was able to call and they could get me in and out very efficiently. Pricing was very appropriate and I was happy to pay it because of how well my dogs were treated. The staff is wonderful, you can really tell they know what they are doing and that they love it and love dogs. I also appreciated that you can see everything (grooming area, etc.) and the dogs have big pens to be in and not crates. So lucky to have found this place. I would highly recommend it! read more

Rarely will I post a review, but in this case I simply must chime in as there are too many trolls roaming the ether waves these days. I really appreciate all that the folks at Paws N Pearls do for my son's and daughter's dogs. They were so very supportive of issues with my son's dog, who was nearly 14 and had some skin and hair issues. They are good people and do their very best. I have nothing but good things to say about Paws N Pearls. Y'all be truthful; bear no false witness. It'll come back to bite ya! Terry read more

The best of the best! I've been taking my dog to Paws n Pearls since I got her and Sam and Missy do a fantastic job! I truly trust them with my dog over anyone else and recommend them to every dog owner I know. They are so personable and will go to whatever lengths necessary to groom my pet (I've called many times last minute and they always find the time to groom her). I will never go anywhere else with my fur baby!! read more

The reason they got 1 star was because I couldn't give them a zero. Before we took our dog to Paws N Pearls, he was fluffy and adorable but he had some mats. Sam, the groomer, totally shaved all his hair off. He was unrecognizable. She did not want to take the time and trouble to just remove the mats and blend in the other areas. What was worse was her attitude. When we came to pick our dog up, she kept giggling and laughing at our obvious distress. "Oh he's so happy to be rid of those mats!" was her reaction when he was obviously just excited to see us and get away from her. Definitely go here if you want a hairless dog and someone to make fun of you after you see the disaster! -Annika J. read more

DOG LOVERS BEWARE!! The owner's daughter severely cut a dog I bred and cut him in MULTIPLE areas including his PENIS! The puppy was taken to the vet and treated. The owner at Paws & Pearls did not apologize, instead she made excuses and didn't accept responsibility for what her daughter did. She knew she could get sued and she DID refund owner and pay for the vet bill. But she was rude asked dog owners not to come back and even worse here on Yelp she TRIED to pass off someone else's pet as one of MY pets. As you can see this is a beautiful SHORKIE 5 pounds. Yet she posted a picture of a 20 pound looking poodle that clearly has a different tail, ear color and coating. Lol If she's going to LIE to people she should at least do a better job! Unbelievable!!! Her character in her multiple posts shows a lack of mental stability. What a nut job!!! PLEASE scroll through ALL pictures and see how she tried to pass my sweet pup as another. She not only cut him in multiple places, she also cut his beautiful eyelashes AFTER being asked not to. Very unprofessional and yet SHE considers herself a 5 star business. As a professional breeder and 20 year veteran I've met many groomers and 5 star groomers DO NOT injure dogs this badly!! Shame on you!!! read more

Watch out and heads up if you have to cancel your appointment. Call several times or you will basically be called a liar and taken off their list when you show up for next scheduled appointment. I was even told I missed 2 appointments when I showed up today. I'm completely perplexed ! I looked through my voicemail and my deleted voicemail, no voicemail from them. searched my iPhone history of calls and had proof I called them when I said to cancel. I talked to Missy that day about canceling appointment and she said okay, thanks for calling. I also have proof they didn't call me when they said. I believe they must have misdialed my number. They would not listen to me, would not look at my proof and were extremely nasty and like I said I'm perplexed and really hurt. So sad :( because I think they are great groomers and such hard workers. I have been a loyal customer since December 2017. No one should be treated this way, just heads up. read more

I have had dogs for 50 years that I would take to groomers. I took recommendations from folks, and my last dog was a Cocker Spaniel. I could never get a decent cut for him, so I bought the tools and began grooming him myself. I now have a Cavalier, and they are particularly difficult to groom, as hair grows in some places too much, and in other places too little. When Louie was a puppy, I took him to a pet lodge to a groomer, and while she was very good, the place gave me the icks. I have struggled to find groomers, getting referrals, and finally, I did my own research. Paws and Pearls continually had the best reviews. I have been so happy and pleased with these groomers. They are so sweet to my Louie, and he actually pulls to go in. He always needs deshedding, and I often have extra fur taken off, but they always do the best job ever! The salon is so clean, and the last time I picked up my dog, he was sleeping. Perfectly happy to be there. That says a lot to me. They are so sweet to him when he comes in, and even lets him give a kiss! read more

Oh my gosh. Literally the best experience I've had at a pet salon. I was greeted so nicely and they told me how cute my dog was and were extremely kind to my dog and i. Made both of us feel very comfortable. When I went to pick her up they were just as nice and my dog smells and looks the best she ever has. Customer service was amazing and the grooming service was perfect; the price was great too! Will certainly be back and would recommend to all. read more

Our Boykin Spaniel got her summer cut, a bit late, but still got it done. We've never had a dog that needed grooming so we took a recommendation from our next door neighbors. I love this place! I have moved to Cumming 2 years ago and have been bringing my Shih tzu (Sushy) here ever since. OMG they are super nice and they take really good care of him. My shih tzu have very dry skin and around his eyes and ears gets very dirty easy. They clean him out completely! He looks like he is a new dog when he is out! On top of that I take my 2 Pomeranian there and now my sister starting to take hers there too! I love this place and I completely trust my kids with them. They are like friends to me now! Paws n Pearls are the best groomers. Not only do they take wonderful care of your pup while in their care- you can tell they are authentically good people who love what they do. I always am over protective when it comes to my little fur baby Kingsley. He is the sweetest thing on this earth. So I wouldn't leave him with just anyone. From the first moment we walked into Paws N Pearls, I knew Kingsley was in good hands. The facility is clean and well decorated. They even have the grooming table open so you can see them handle your dog. I have never felt more comfortable with handing him over to be groomed. He is normally a nervous nelly-but not with them. And his cut is always perfect! It's adorable because he struts out of there like a new pup- he's cute and he knows it. Don't think twice about taking your dog to get groomed here! I wholeheartedly recommend them! read more

Stopped by and chatted with Sam about bringing my 13 year old mutt in. She was really friendly and really understanding about Cameron's (my dog) allergies. Since Cam is older, we don't like to have her staying in a kennel for long periods of time. Sam said she'd call us as soon as the bath was done. Missy has actually been cleaning her and has done an AWESOME job! She is so clean and smells so good and looks super cute with a sassy bandana! Missy cleans Cam in about an hour or so and then we're able to pick her up. Both these ladies are top notch! So happy to have them in the area doing a super job! read more

This place is so clean!!! WOW you don't even smell dogs. And Sam and Missy are so friendly!!!! Awesome place!!!

Not my kind of place. Was quoted a price on the phone but was charged more at pickup. I was never asked if my dog was up to date on shots or rabies. This has always been required every where else I have taken my pets. I will not return. If they didn't ask me about current vaccinations then they are not asking anyone and this puts all our dogs at risk. read more

We take our 12 year old Schnauzer here. The staff does a great job and the prices are very comparable to other locations (PetSmart/Petco). They make sure to keep the dogs comfortable which is important for ours due to her age and stiff joints. Other places we've been have kept our dog in the kennel for hours at a time and it was very stressful on our dog. With Paws N Pearls, our Schnauzer seems to actually enjoy going. read more
