    DOG GROOMER BEWARE

Do not get your dogs hair groomed by this groomer. I know accidents happen but she cut my furrbaby and they had to stitch him up and put him under . I should've just waited another week and taken him to the Petsmart Cerritos line I usually do. I've never had a experience like this with petsmart.

Grace was so sweet and gentle with our puppy. She did an amazing job and went above and beyond to give us a great grooming experience. Will definitely be coming back.

First time with my baby Brownie, first time getting a complete haircut. Victoria was so patient and kind with him. He was a little nervous and she was super patient . He looks fresh and clean. I really like the service. Everyone in general is super friendly. Thank you Victoria for taking care of brownie.

Appointment at 50pm - called at 4:15 to ask to arrive early - Groomer wanted to leave early.

You be the judge... groomer Victoria called to ask me to arrive earlier than scheduled. Another client did not show up. So I rush to get Roxy there within 20 minutes. Arrive and the late show is arguing with a female manager because he still wants his spot. Remind you. I am standing there watching this all go down. So I call and announce I am there. 10 minutes later still no help or acknowledgment. Groomer comes out takes other dog and ignores me. I tapped on glass after another 5 minutes. Groomer looks up and walks to back room. OMG remember I was asked to come in early - to wait in the lobby? What the actual F! I leave. I call to complain to the manager and Eric claims to be able to assist - after I spend more time explaining the situation - he has to put me on hold to get someone that 'can actually help me' !!!! Needless to say Roxy won't be back and she was a regular.

Claim to price match but Don't wouldn't honor Walmart price. Only match their website price or Petco. What kind of price match is that.

What we loved the most about him is that he is a very straightforward owner and doesn't try to push anything on you. We went to many consults and felt like often times the owners worked more as salesman than actual dog trainers who cared about the dogs. We elected for a 4-week board and train and they kept us updated throughout the entering process and even sent us weekly video updates. The results were night and day. Not only did they help train our dog but what was most important is they took the time and effort to train US (arguably the more important training) on how to continue training at home. We are unequivocally Whittier Dog Club fans and will mentioned them to anyone looking for the right training facility for their dogs.

From day one, Juan provided exceptional customer service. He was never pushy, took the time to explain the training process, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and was always easy to reach whenever I needed him. I ultimately chose the 5-week off-leash obedience program. As difficult as it was to leave my puppy for that long, it was absolutely worth it. My dog came home calmer, more confident, and with a much better understanding of commands such as stay, down, place, come, yes, and no. She listens significantly better and is clearly more focused and well-mannered. Oh and let me not forgot to mention she is now crate trained and potty trained. She now sleeps comfortably in her crate and understands that potty time happens outside. The facility itself is beautiful, private, and extremely clean. I also want to give a special shoutout to Dom for the incredible care and dedication he showed my dog during her stay. Diana worked with us and gave us the tools to help her with confidence-building, trusting people and acclimating into our family that already had a spoiled and untrained dog. After many sessions and homework, we now have a dog that has so much more confidence, has learned to self soothe and is so much less stressed. She fits into our family perfectly and is like a different dog from the one we brought home that day. She was so skittish the first day that she shook even when we opened the refrigerator door. I can't say enough about Diana and her incredible knowledge of dog behavior, in addition to her years of experience. We are so grateful that we were referred to her! Thank you, Diana!!

Maddie had been having some reactivity issues due to being attacked on 2 separate occasions by a bigger dog. Any time we would walk her, she would howl bloody murder. And if you know a beagle's howl, you know how loud it can get. The neighbors knew when we would be walking her because they could hear her for blocks. And people would stare at us as if we were horrible pet parents so we decided it was enough and contacted Diana for some help. As soon as we met her, she explained her process and how she works. And she explained how and why reactivity occurs. Everything was explained very easily and smoothly so that my spouse and I could understand why Maddie did certain things and how to correct them. We went ahead and did the 8 session package and met weekly with Diana. She laid the foundation for us and we increased training to build on that foundation. Lo and behold, Maddie no longer howls bloody murder when she sees another dog! One of our neighbors noticed and said that he can't tell anymore when we walk her because he doesn't hear us anymore. And every time we spot him during our walks, he's always so impressed with her training and how far she's come along. We ended our training with Maddie learning "down" and we are planning on doing more training sessions to further build on Maddie's training with e-collar training and more obedience. I can't begin to thank Diana enough for all that she's done for us and for our chonk. Diana is super awesome and an amazing trainer. She provides you with the guidance that you need. She's always available if you ever need help with anything or need clarification on any homework assignments she leaves you with before the next training session. Each evening, after spending the day working and training Maverick, Alexx would send me pictures and/or video updates, along with explanations of the things they were working on, and also what I needed to know to continue working with Maverick after he returned home. And each night I would watch the videos and cry happy tears. I couldn't believe that was my dog! Maverick responded so well with Alexx. And after two weeks, he was ready to come home. I couldn't believe it! And I was so afraid that I was going to mess something up and that my dog would never behave for me the way he had for Alexx. But I was wrong! From the day Maverick came home I could tell he was a different dog already. I paid close attention to the things that Alexx trained ME to know. And every day I continue to work with Maverick the way that we were taught. I was never fearful of the tools that Alexx employed while training Maverick. I knew that proper use of a prong collar would not hurt Maverick. And to the contrary, Maverick responded much better to that, than to having a slip lead noose around his neck. With a slip lead Maverick with pull himself so hard he could've done damage to his esophagus. But with the prong collar, he no longer pulled on his leash. I also was never afraid of using the E collar. From day one, Alexx showed me proper use of the E collar. And he even demonstrated it to me, having me hold it in my hand to feel the vibration. I know that the E collar does not harm Maverick in any way, it's simply a gentle reminder for him to make good decisions. And it works. Since Maverick came back home, I actually rarely need to even press the button to make the E collar vibrate. However, if Maverick needs a reminder, it is a tool that has proven to be extremely useful. Maverick no longer pulls when on leash. He walks next to me and heels very well. And when we encounter other dogs and he begins to bristle, as if he were going to react, all I have to do is remind him to heel. If I see that he is starting to forget, I hit the button for the E collar control. For Maverick I have it set at 15, which is pretty low, and usually one tap is all it takes to get him back on track! Sometimes all I have to do is touch the controller and he responds without me even pushing the button! It's like it's ingrained in him already. And it works! Maverick came home, such a better dog! And since then he and I have been able to bond in a way that we weren't able to in the months prior to him going to Omega Paws. Maverick now has a better understanding of what he needs to do, and he follows directions much better. He understands when I tell him to go to his place, and he stays there. He also understands when he is supposed to be in his crate, and he goes in without a fight. I love our walks because on leash he is amazing! And he has not reacted in the same manner towards another dog since returning from Omega Paws, so I no longer have that fear of being injured when he's on leash. He is much better mannered. And I have no doubt that within the year I will be able to get him certified to become a working Therapy Dog with me! And barely a year old he's still a puppy, and he's not perfect. But he is so much better than he was, and our relationship is so much better as well! And believe me when I say that my dog is much calmer, and he does not need a treadmill! He just needed to learn boundaries, and we needed to bond! That's something that we weren't able to do with the previous training. We had such a good experience with Omega Paws, that once Maverick had come home and we saw the difference in him, we decided to have Alexx and his team train our two small dogs as well. They are both Chihuahua mixes, and or were foster fails. One is 10 years old and the other is eight years old, so they are pretty set in their ways! But we wanted to give them basically the same foundation that Maverick had so that they all had the same understanding. And while they are not quite as good as Maverick, they are definitely much improved. They definitely understand boundaries much better, and they behave better on leash! I cannot say enough about Alexx and Luis, and all of Omega Paws. I was literally on the verge of giving up, and contemplating surrendering my dog because I knew that I could not go on the way that we were. And that's a terrible feeling to have when you love a dog! Omega Paws gave me back my dog, and also self-confidence. I am so grateful to them for all they've done for my family. And I can't wait to see what my future holds with Maverick by my side! A million thanks to you, Omega Paws!
