This facility is the nearest grooming salon in my neighborhood and while I have been taking my Aussie to Petsmart, I decided to try out this smaller groomery. I was nervous because my Aussie doesn't do too well with her grooming experiences. I've been taking her since a puppy but she still gets nervous with her nails, and all the noises in the salon. I was pleased at pick out that they said she did a great job. The barber said she was nervous of the nail grinder sound, so she went out of her way to be patient and use the trimmer instead to manually trim the nails instead of grinding them down. My dog came out so clean and her de-shedding brush out was amazing. The overall price was $85 and included the bath, brush out, anal gland expression and nail cutting, as well as a cute bandana. I called and scheduled an appointment and was pleasantly surprised that they were able to accommodate my dog the very next day. I expected to wait several weeks as that is what I'm used to when scheduling a groom service. I requested a full groom which included, ear cleaning, teeth, nails, wash, and haircut. I can't remember if it also included gland expression or not but I think that also was included. They did do a great job and looked like a new dog when I picked him up. This is the 2-3rd time I take my baby Kash to Isela's! It's always easy to set up appointment over the phone, check him in, customization and estimated time to pick up. Also it was $55 and in the past I paid $100 elsewhere. I moved away but definetly want to take him back! Great grooming place no extra costs for services! read more

I'm definitely not one to post reviews, I more so just look up reviews and I genuinely wish I would have before taking my Cocker Spaniel to Isela's. Honestly I was in a pinch, my girl needed a cut and bath, she wasn't matted or anything crazy but she was getting real long. My usual groomer was out of town and life had just been getting in the way to do a trim myself so I opted to take her here because it was up the street and had availability the same day (Saturday). Her appointment was for 10 am; I called around 230.. they told me "in about an hour" she'd be ready and that they will give me a call... didn't think it would take that long but they called me about 330-345 saying she was done. Now, my dog does get groomed pretty regularly, she's used to it and doesn't have any behavioral issues that I've ever been told about or anything that I've experienced myself in her 8 years... I got there to pick her up like 10 minutes after they called... they had me pay, I tipped all before getting a look at my dog... when I tell you my dog seemed scared and traumatized... it broke my heart... She was trying to get out the lady's hands soooooo bad, like fighting bad. She wouldn't settle even after I was holding her, she's naturally a shaky girl but this was different, her cut was super choppy, she was full of hair, nothing was evenly cut on her, and they argued with me when I noticed her SINGLE dewclaw nail hadn't been trimmed down like I specifically asked for when I dropped her off. They did her dewclaw in front of me, but tried to make me feel like I was going to make them hurt my dog or something for doing it. For nearly 6 hours WITH an appointment you would at least think they would do a decent job with the cut. It was all one length, nothing extravagant or over the top. Anyway to add on, my dog kept scratching her butt on the floor after (maybe irritated?) and she kept aggressively licking herself for the first few days. Not sure what happened; I wish I would have thought to check my dog before paying/tipping. Would not recommend Isela's. [Will try to remember to take and post a picture in the morning] read more

I can't really rate this place on how "well" it did with my dog but all I can say is I left my dog here @10 .. it's 1:30.. I came in asking about my dog and the man servicing my dog said to speak Spanish.. then he said they'll call me when she's ready.. we're going on the 4th hour and he argued by saying it's only been 3 hours and he's on his lunch . I have a Doctors appointment and if I leave the dog here they'll charge extra I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place ... I didn't think it would take 4-5 hours to get the dogs grooming done ... they should told me it would take all day ... I took my 1 year old dog to get groomed Anna the groomer did a good job on her but I feel in my gut she got hurt there. She sent me a picture with my dog in the bath with a red eye like busted blood vessel my dog didn't have that and I feel she hit her head and I brought her home she was scared. Just like the other reviews say, they're doing something to the dogs that makes them not act normal when they get home. My poor dog seemed like she had been traumatized in there. If you love your dog and I know you do because your bringing them here to pay a pretty penny, do not take them there. The hair cut was fine, but her behavior in the days after was off. Feeling a little ripped off with this location. I've been taking Avery here for years and slowly prices have gone up. 08/2024 i paid $110 for her her hair cut not including tip. Sad part os it was a horrible uneven job. Avery is a short hair medium size mix. I can tell you now that is more then I pay for my hair. It's used to be so reasonable and consistent. Isela has been grooming our rescue dogs since she opened her shop. I must say, that when Isela was booked, we used another shop. Or rather tried to... unfortunately, one of our dogs had issues with another grooming shop and was uncooperative so we picked up a partially groomed dog. We waited for availability with Isela and when we got an appointment, she took her time and was patient with our boy and his cut turned out wonderful! Do not use this groomer. The first time we used this place my dog came back acting strange and was scared. He hid in a closet for a few days and did not want any contact with anyone. This is not normal for him coming back home from the groomers but I didn't think much of it. This last time I took him they made up some extra fees since they were "matted", which they weren't. I paid the fee and would just go somewhere else. My dog came back home scared again and acting weird. Come to find that they cut him but never said anything. $400.00 dollar vet bill later I attempted to get a refund from the owner but she refused. Did not even apologize and blamed my dog saying he cut himself. This place should be shut down, look at all the other reviews. read more

The facility is clean and tidy, and they handle my dogs wonderfully. I usually get a sanitary trim, teeth cleaning, and paw care. I appreciate how they have hair length samples for different types of cuts--when you specify a length, you know exactly how your dog's hair will look when you pick them up, setting clear expectations.
