I moved to a new place, and my dog Tyson was slipping and sliding all over the vinyl floors, a sure sign that his nails were getting too long. I was worried he was going to get a serious injury! I usually do his grooming at home, but the situation is less than ideal currently. He's a bit reactive so I am picky when it comes to vets, groomers, etc. I found Dash Pet Pawlor online and the reviews were positive, so I wrote them a message to see if they would take Tyson. They assured me that they are comfortable with reactive dogs and would be happy to take him in. The day of his appointment, he must have snagged his nail on something and his paw was bleeding, so I was worried they wouldn't be able to assist him anymore, but they took him and told me they'd be patient and see what they could do. Tyson came back to me in good spirits, fully groomed with nice short nails. I have no idea how they did it, but it was a miracle and I am really so grateful. I had planned to resume grooming Tyson myself once I'm fully moved in, but because they did such a good job, I am pretty sure I will take Tyson back again. read more

They do excellent grooming with Schnauzer cuts . Overall service is professional and great with the pets

I drive from Venice Beach to get my girls groomed in Whittier. The groomers do not take any shortcuts when it comes to the the styles I want. We originally started attending their Pico location and have frequently been able to be seen same day although an appointment far in advance is highly recommended. I think the price is beyond fair and they groom both my dogs in less than 3 hours depending on the cut. I love how the girls leave looking and smelling incredible! If you're looking for your next groomer Dash Pet Pawlor is it!!!! read more

I called this place and made an appointment. They did not ask any questions. When I arrived, they clearly did not want to work on my dog because he was older, and gave several excuses and raised the price significantly. They were not kind and looked at my dog with a look of dismissiveness, or even disdain. Overall, it was a stressful and upsetting experience. They did not seem like dog lovers to the point where I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog with them. I ended up calling a mobile grooming service who did the job for cheaper, and my dog looked great! read more

Horrible service . Half as job . Over priced . Wouldn't recommend it . My dogs hair under his arms , his chest and belly is still super long .just the top and his neck is short . read more

I'm not one to leave a bad review, but I can't not warn people about this place. HORRIBLE place for short haired dogs (I can only speak for my short haired dog's experience) First time there & they were extremely unhelpful right off the bat. They said my dog "already looked clean" I brought him for a cut & bathe. They left him extremely choppy & did not cut his hair evenly or at all in some spots. Look at the photos and discern for yourself. I paid $95 for this "service". I'm sorry I left my dogs in the hands of these "groomers". I do not recommend. read more

PAWsome Whittier dog grooming find! Very pleased with the friendly service & communication, knowledge, & skill from Julio & Denise on our Luna baby. Their online Appointment booking system is amazingly convenient, clear and easy. Super grateful they are open on weekends; especially on a Sunday! Not a lot of dog grooming places are open on a Sunday, so that was super helpful with our schedule. All around, was beyond happy how smooth everything went from booking an appointment, drop off, and pick up! Plus our Luna baby came out so cute with her holiday bows and smelling' & lookin' so fresh and so clean clean! Definitely coming back to have our baby groomed by DPP!!! read more

I took my two small short haired dogs here on Thursday and everything seemed good. The place was clean and very cute but ever since I brought my dog home she's been acting lethargic, she has small cuts on her arms and she's been in pain. She hasn't wanted to eat anything, she has no energy she weeps when I try to pick her up, she can barely walk up my steps!!!!! Like what the heck happened to my energetic dog??? My dog is short haired so the clippers or scissors weren't necessary, I just wanted a bath. I won't be coming here again. read more

THANK YOU! Dash Pet Pawlor was able to get me in for a same-day appointment after our usual groomer canceled on us. Our boy is a huge agouti husky with long fur that's easily prone to mats and tangles. Not many groomers will service huskies, and of those who will, they just can't handle the amount of work he requires. Dash Pet Pawlor is a godsend! He's clean, de-matted, and had a de-shedding treatment. His paws are nicely trimmed, his fur is silky, and he's so happy! We made our next appointment on the spot! read more

Dash Pet Pawlor - Great first time experience for my little bear - Pet Groomers Near Me - Whittier, California

This place is very horrible to drop your lovely animals at my sister groomed, her dog here, and they had a choppy haircut done on her dog and cut the nails too short, one or two nails bleeding along with a bloody eye. They overcharged as well and never showed any respect or care. Pets are being yelled at here we experienced that as well, horrible location it should be fired and close down. read more

If you care about your pet's wellbeing, please read this before booking. I was really excited to try Dash Pet Parlor after doing weeks of research and reading so many positive reviews. Their concept seemed promising, and even though their prices are on the higher side (with no photos during the process or seasonal photo shoots like many other groomers offer), I decided to give them a shot. When I picked up my pup, June, she looked beautiful -- I even commented on how well the flower accessory on her head was staying put. But when I got home and went to remove it (like I always do so she can relax), I discovered the flower was glued to her fur. GLUED. No warning, no consent, no disclaimer. I immediately called the groomer, and instead of an apology or acknowledgment, I was met with a dismissive response from someone named David who told me I "need to remember that hair grows." As if that excuses gluing something to my dog without permission. There was no form, no verbal warning, nothing to suggest this would happen -- which makes this not only negligent, but incredibly unprofessional. I don't take leaving negative reviews lightly, especially when it comes to small businesses. But pet owners deserve to know what they're signing up for. This experience left me feeling frustrated, disrespected, and most of all, concerned for the safety and comfort of my dog. Please make sure to ask very specific questions before you drop off your pet here -- and personally, I would not return. read more

Sadly I will not be returning. After I gave instruction not to shave any part of him, they proceeded to do so. He's an Aussie, with a double coat, you never shave, you scissor. I was horrified when I saw his rear end. He should have had his butt curtains trimmed, not clipped all the way off. I have no idea how his coat is going to grow out, and for the price I paid, just disappointing read more

Love Dash Pet Pawlor. Great Service and I highly recommend it. My dog always looks so handsome when he gets groomed. Thanks again Dash Pet Pawlor for your great service. read more

I cannot recommend this new place I tried yesterday enough I am extremely happy!! I'm always anxious trying new places in general but even more so for my fur children that can't talk lol but they made everything so smooth from beginning to end. Fantastic perfect job on the grooming of my babies which photos will be attached, but the place was clean as when I picked up my dogs they were cleaning and closing up (of course but nice to see), was greeted by the owner in the beginning who seemed nice, closed out paying with owner as well and I really liked his energy so it made me feel comfortable choosing this place. Another plus is that they text you updates throughout whole grooming process which I so appreciated because no where else really does that! Thank you to the owner who trained his employees well on updating us fur parents and for having great groomers on hand for a successful new pet pawlor. Loved everything and will be back!! :) P.S. it is a bit more pricier here but again more pros here as mentioned, thanks! read more

They did a great job on my doggie and he's a tough guy to groom. He's been booted out of several other pet grooming places and I told them that up front. They said they take all the dogs no other groomers will take. They were very kind and gentle with my dog. They let him sniff around and take his time to get accustomed to his surroundings. When I picked him up he not only looked great, but they asked if I wanted to make another appointment in a month. No one ever asks us to come back! I have recommended this place to several fiends. I am super happy and impressed with their work. read more

I bring my Bernadoodle here. They have a strong knowledge of cutting doodles. I try to schedule my dog first thing in the morning so she gets in and out with having to stay in a kennel. Just make sure you are specific on what you want such as the style of cut, the length on the body and legs. read more

I took my lab here once. The groomer (we had the guy) was professional, it was easy to make an appointment, he seemed really kind to my dog (2.5year old bouncy lab puppy). Prices are standard. The place is clean. I will return, and I recommend you give them a try. read more

Found Dash Pet Pawlor on Yelp, and their reviews are all valid and true! Our GSD needed grooming badly and were happy to have found a local groomer who was glad to service our furry bear! Very professional staff, very cute & clean, and VERY friendly, positive vibes & energy! We knew our furry baby would be in good hands with Art! Our fur baby looked and smelled amazing! Definitely earned our loyalty, love, and respect. We will be bringing our little one next! read more

I took my dog here bc they said $20 for a flea bath so I booked an appointment. When I got there the lady met my dog and I asked for the price she said it was $40 because my dog weighed 30 pounds , 20 for wash and 20 for flea bath. I was like fine I mean i'm already there so I left her. When I came back I was like how much? she said 65. I was so startled and I asked why so much first you said $20 then $40 then $65?? she said bc the wash was 45 and the flea bath was 20. I said you could've said that from the start I wouldn't have left her and she just gave me a judgy look. Def don't recommend. read more

Never again!! My beautiful dog not only came home after 4 hours with a terrible uneven grooming, several cuts all over his body but also had his nails cut too short with bleeding stubs. It was the first time he was ever so anxious to get the heck out of there and as a very friendly doodle, is a difficult feat to achieve. So disappointed...what started off as promising salon that I've been taking my dog to for the last year in an effort to support local, has turned into a cheap, low quality place lacking sincere care for the animals they service. read more

We brought our anxious doggie to Dash and he loves coming here! He always turns out looking great.

These guys did an amazing dog on my pup! I've been to quite a few different groomers over the years but when he came back from here I'd never seen my dog look or feel so clean! This is definitely my new groomer. It didn't take all day either like the other places I've been. I hate leaving my dog at a strange place to be locked in a little cage while he waits for his turn. I made an appointment with these guys and they got right to it when we showed up. Then soon as they finished I was there to pick him up. Definitely suggest these guys. read more

Took my puppy to get her first groom and specifically stated I only wanted a little trim around her nose so she could see. When I picked her up they cut the hair on her forehead! The lady said "oh I should have asked you before I cut it, were you trying to grow it out?" Yes! I was trying to grow it out! My poor puppy looks so funny. Never going back! read more

I was originally looking for a mobile pet groomer. I found Dash Pet Pawlor on Yelp and messaged them. They immediately responded and had availability the following day. Their pricing seemed almost too good to be true. My husband took our 2 dogs and decided to hang out in Uptown to wait for them. They were done when promised. We had them bathed, nails trimmed and glands expressed. They smelled amazing.... Even a week later! The groomer was great. She told my husband lots of info about our dogs and their nutrition. The staff really seemed to care about dogs. We will definitely be back. read more

Dash Pet Pawlor provided such a great experience for my dog and myself. They were very kind and understanding when I expressed concerns about my reactive dog, and they assured me they would keep a calm and positive environment for him. Dash Pet Pawlor - Soft, fluffy, de-shedded, and smelling great! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Whittier, California

We were walking our dogs in uptown and we stumbled into this place. We decided to drop our two German shepherds off for grooming and de-shedding. When we picked our dogs up later that day, our dogs had a great time and most importantly their coats were absolutely beautiful/soft. They did a fantastic job de-shedding both of our dogs. We typically take our dogs to Petsmart for these services, but not anymore. Basically, for the same price you get more bang for your buck and they go the extra mile on the de-shedding. Thank you from Ludwig and Gretchen read more

I never write reviews, but Denise deserves one. I came in stressed, my cat was stressed, we came without an appointment and close to closing time, and our stupid petco cardboard box was practically falling apart. Instead of shooing me away, Denise took one look at me and showered me with kindness that I've never experienced with any business before. Whoever's in charge over there, give Denise a raise! read more

I called for a specific person for the appointment and then I arrive to my scheduled time after confirming that same morning and that groomer wasn't there. I get there to a girl groomer now wanting to take my dog charge me more for my dog claiming she had to take mats off her. And the attitude was not nessary. So I took my dog and left i will not leave her there with the bad attitude I was given. Please be careful where you take your dogs who knows what happens when we are there read more

They got my little kitty in no time at all! I had a cat emergency when my cat got out and into the rose bushes. He was covered in dirt and had some fleas all over him. He was out for over an hour. When I got him back inside I searched for cat groomers and this place pulled up. I called and explained the situation. They said they could see him right then and there. I took him in left for 3 hours and came back to fresh and blueberry smelling kitty! I definitely recommend this parlor to all animal lovers! read more

I took my 3 dogs to get bathed with one dog getting de-shedded. I enjoyed that the groomer hugged my large labrador who weighs about 120lbs as soon as he came in the business as if she knew him all her life. The de-shedding came out perfect. It has been a week since the de-shedding was done and my dog is still not shedding. As far as my smaller dogs, they were bathed, cleaned, and nails clipped beautifully. I am definitely taking all my dogs here again. Also, the business is very clean inside, so you can see the care they have for their business. read more
