Super friendly groomers who do excellent service on our furbabies. I'm picky and they groom my dog perfectly. Highly recommend.

PetSmart has become my new place to buy cat food. It seems harder to find the large cans of food that are more economical and create less trash, but this store is reliably stocked. It's easy to tell what they have in-store stock, place an online order and pick it up quickly within a couple of hours. Their staff is always very polite and helpful, even though I've noticed they don't seem to have very many people working as they used to. But this store is nice, clean, brightly lit, and seems to be well stocked. They offer a very wide variety of different pet food brands, from cheaper to the most expensive. They have toys, beds, costumes, grooming supplies, cleaning supplies, houses, some first aid and medical necessities. Pretty much covers most everything! read more

PetSmart in owasso is horrible .I got there right on time and trying to email my dogs rabies and these girls are rushing me and not only that talking about other clients behind there back like they are absolute trash. I have given them 3 chances and they will do anything to turn you away. Maddogging people. It's crazy . They just don't like there job they don't wanna be there. I am sad to say that this Petsmart is such a disappointment. We've received very poor service in the grooming salon, witnessed and experienced bad management practices, and items we normally purchase at PetSmart are always out of stock at this location. The overall feel of the store is pretty depressing. The employees just seem like they don't want to be there. We travel a lot for my husband's job; therefore, we have been a customer of many different PetSmart locations. We have stayed loyal to PetSmart over the years because each location is generally pleasant and provides great service, particularly in the grooming salon. We recently booked an appointment in the grooming salon at this location, and only to find out that they won't service us because they were too busy. The manager did nothing about it. She actually just stood there while I had to argue with the grooming salon employee about how we made an appointment and they should honor it. Every time I go in to buy our pets science diet food, they are out of stock. Unfortunately, there aren't any other options nearby to buy this normally very accessible food. I generally only leave reviews on Google, but I felt compelled to create a Yelp account just to get the word out about the service of this PetSmart location. I hope they can get new management and get their act together for the sake of the people of Owasso. I'll be excited to relocate again this summer so that we can start taking our pets to another PetSmart location. read more

"They support the local shelters!! They're store is so clean!!" Well, although these things are true, this place is in no way shape or form a good establishment. They're animal abusers, and the proof of it is so obvious, but no one sees it because they're too distracted by the cute kittens and puppies, and yeah! Petsmart is a good place for dogs and cats! And it's a great place to get your furry friends!! But when it comes to any animals smaller than that, it's hell. I've come in here plenty of times to get food for my animals and every time I see some dead animal whether that be one of the Anoles on the bottom shelf that no one sees or a fish that no one cares about. Hell! They had a tortoise sit in there for an entire day, dead as a doorknob (I came two times that day, once in the morning and once in the evening and it was right bgot there in the evening that they had cleaned up the carcass) it's truly disgusting. Now! Let's talk about their in store care, and I know, it's not gonna be as good as your care at home because the animals aren't gonna be there forever, but they're skipping out on the basics!!! Let's revisit that terrible anole enclosure. Anoles are extremely avid baskers and need both a UVB lamp and a basking bulb, yet all that this cage had was a heat bulb And an infrared one at that!! (They're proven to hurt the animals eyes) also, it was EXTREMELY over crowded!! And all of the animals are physically stressed and CONSTANTLY dying. Also, I'm about 55% sure I've seen yellow fungus on one of their water dragons before, but I'm not sure. I'll go in and check sometime in the near future if any of their current animals have that horrid disease. I have SOO much more to say, but that's more or less on how terrible petsmart is as a company and not this specific store so I'll refrain from doing so. But, yeah, please! If you're in the area just go to Southern Agriculture, although the corporate part of the company is pretty bad, it's no where near this! (Edit one) theyre just getting more exotic reptiles and amphibians in that need even more taxing needs,, for example they recently started acquiring Madagascan giant day geckos and they're keeping a red heat lamp on the poor baby, he needs UVB and a small heated area for basking while the rest of the tank needs to be 75-82 degrees. So, they're depriving the poor thing of essential vitamin requirements they get from UVB and they're either baking or freezing the poor thing. Not to mention the condition of the Chinese water dragons they've been getting in recently (pictured below) but that's more or less because of the reptile mills this company buys from. read more

Second time I've taken my German shepherd there and they've not done what I asked. No phone call. No warning they didn't or couldn't do it. Didn't even bother to tell me when I picked him and only found out when I paid. And they had him an extra hour because nobody bothered to call and even tell me he was ready. Dropped him off at 8:30 am and his groomer left at 12:30 so they just quit working on him and sent an email he was ready. Won't be back. The lady at the register did give me a discount off the lesser service so that was the only positive. Came home with tons of dog hair when I asked for a furminator. read more

we have had our dog groomed at pet smart many times...always happy with the result. however, now they will not see our lovely girl, because she is a bit on the heavy side and requires a more attention than they care to give. instead of maybe charging a bit more, they just suggest to take her else where. well we will do just that. read more

Well let's start with Amanda.. what an attitude. Glad I had an encounter with her before I ever gave her the opportunity to handle my four legged friend. We have always used the petsmart in Tulsa(always friendly and happy to serve us)but recently moved closer to Owasso. So we figured we would give Owasso a shot. Nope! We will certainly be making the trip to Tulsa. However their is a girl named Sarah who seemed to have a pleasant attitude but I think it will just be better yo stick to the people I know when it comes to my boys and their grooming. read more

Awful grooming experience... made me feel like I dont take care of my dog... would not except her because she had mats around ears... I have been going to pet smart for 12 years and always recieved a shave down but came to owasso location and they are animal haters and doesn't even care... my grommer called the manager (corey) and she asked him to feel and he looked at my baby with disgust!!! I explained my dog just had surgery so could not been washed or groom in a month because she was bit by another dog!!! They didn't seem at all concerned and looked at me like Its not their problem!! I would never go back there and leave my dog there ever again or even shop their... I hope people know that they do not care for animals their at all!!! Please be aware!!!!! I was dropping off my dog for a grooming and Mckenzie, the apprentice was the kindest associate there. Amanda is a rude woman who should learn how to speak to adults. The year I have been taking my dog to this location for grooming, I have never once been yelled at about coming to the first grooming table to escort my anxious dog towards the back, as long as I dont go past that spot. As I was already coming out of the table area, she started rudely stating, "ma'am! Ma'am! You can NOT be back there!" I apologized and stated that I have always been allowed to walk my dog to the first table and she cut me off multiple times as I'm speaking and stated "at this location and today, we are not allowed to have you come throughthe doors". I told her I have only ever been to that location and no one has ever spoken to me that way. I informed her that yelling is not the way to speak to someone and that she needs to be more polite. This whole incident happened WHILE SHE WAS SPEAKING TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER ON THE PHONE AS WELL. I had to step out and I am attempting to call the store and get my dog. I will NEVER use this location again and I hope Amanda gets a talking to and Mckenzie gets a raise. The other woman who was there, a red head, has always helped me and has never had any issues with me but she was on the phone. Edit; peyton the manager is a delight. I came to buy a fish for the tank I have at my house and because I'm not 18 they refuse to sell even a goldfish to me because it's their policy. While I understand that a rule is a rule I find it stupid. Half of the tanks they have are either over stocked with fish or there is dead fish lying at the bottom of the tank. The tanks are dirty and the fish look unhealthy. Even a young adult as myself could take better care of a fish than this company can. read more

The grooming service I've just tried it and honestly not going back: my white dog was supposably tan, which I could live with considering the price but her nails were completely butchered, all crocked, cut in all directions even split in half and the hears weren't all that clean either. read more

We just moved here and have visited multiple petsmart stores in the area. Each time we visit, the employees at the register (if there is not a customer they are helping) are sitting on the counter tops and are on their phones instead of restocking or helping customers at the front of the store. Again, this isn't just one location it's a good majority in the Tulsa area. About 90% of the time I have to go find someone to help us in aquatics. No one comes to ask if we have been helped or need help. The customer service is severely lacking in this area. read more

It is very sad and cruel to see the xl oranges goldfish in such a small tank. The fish are large and there was 4 big fish in the smallest tank. There were other larger empty tanks but the staff said they have to put the fish in the tanks the corporate tells them to use. Goldfish produce a lot of ammonia so they nee larger tanks for that reason alone. They also had about 20 large koi in a tank together. After seeing the conditions that the animals were kept in I decided to purchase fish at a different store. Management needs to make better temporary living conditions available for the animals. Their lives and health depend on it. read more

I came in and was waiting for someone to help me with some guppies. After a while of waiting, I went to the cashier and asked to have someone come and help us. Well he called and the the person that supposed to help us, passed us and went straight to the white person instead. I though this was a mistake and went back to the cashier. Nope, wasn't a mistake, the cashier guy pointed right to that same person. I waited for another 5 minutes, and my husband told that fish guy that I was waiting first. The dude turned and went in the back. Needlessly to say I told the cashier and he gives me this blank look and leaned back on his post, so I left. I do lots of fish shopping for folks who don't have time to which I spend hundreds or dollars each time. I have been shopping at this PetSmart for years but something has changed. I was shopping for dog food and came across a beautiful cat that was up for adoption. I waited to speak to someone and waited and waited. Two employees within 3 feet completely ignored me. I asked about this cat and was told to call the number on the piece of paper to make an appt. Appointment? No one was around and they were just sitting behind the cages talking. Feeling frustrated I left. I also have been taking my dog for years to be groomed here. They were always fantastic but I took her in one day and realized there were all new employees in the grooming area. When I picked her up she seemed timid and scared and relieved to see me. She is 9 and has never demonstrated this behavior. I thought maybe it was just an off day for her. I called a few months later and I was running a little late. I called and they said bring her over. When I arrived they refused to take her because I was 3 minutes late. There was not one dog in the grooming area. When I pointed this out she stated "Who did you talk to? And this is our policy". What?? Then why did they tell me on the phone to head over? While I am discussing this with her my dog continued to whine and seemed in distress. She NEVER does this. That told me all I needed to know about this place. I have purchased dog food for years from PetSmart. I will NEVER EVER return. This place DOES NOT love animals. read more

It's like any store you will ever go to that's big. It's impossible to find a free staff who isn't running around doing other (actually important things) but once you do get someone their complete attention is on you. I wish I knew the names, but I believe she's still employed there, she's an older woman, slender, and one of the best customer service I've seen. She primarily does register, but it feels like she's been part of my journey with my cat, and rats. 1 big thing I do wish is they knew more about some of the smaller animals. I over heard an employee telling customers it would be fine to buy a wheel for a guinea pig..yeah I guess it's fine to go ahead and jab needles in it's spine while your at it too. read more
