Tip Too K9 had the dog for little over a week. He is part hound so he is stubborn to say the least. He came home better but did not want to really listen. The trainer came back out to their house the next week and worked with him again and worked with my daughter and her husband. Again he did better but not quit well and constant. The trainer came back out and took the dog back to keep and train more for over a week again. All this was included in the original cost. Yes the original cost was not cheap but is is well worth it because they keep working with them. Not tacking on more charges. They help you get true results. They brought the dog back home today and the trainer worked at the house with the dog and my daughter for over an hour. Want quality training, people who love what they are doing, love your baby. I don't mean tug I mean a yank that put fear in my dog's eyes.I tried not to yank very hard and the tall brunette women would come over and "show me" how much I had to yank. I'm pretty sure that's not the proper way to train with a herm Springer prong collar. I am new to dog training so I went one or two more times. When my dog was moping the day of her training the next time I said no more and never came back. It's very odd considering they say in the first session they use positive reinforcement only.

Jen is THE Dog whisperer!!!…read more Our Aussie mix has always been a big challenge for us. He is a very reactive dog and would often try to nip any poor soul, human or canine, who was within reach. Walking him was always a problem -- if anyone was on the same sidewalk, we had to change sidewalks. The solution was to walk him at the break of dawn when the streets are empty. We heard about Jen from a friend who recommended her very highly and explained that she was trained by the main man -- Cesar Milan! Jen confirmed this when we met her at Victoria Gardens where she wanted to meet Tuco to assess his behavior. She walked him up and down the busy sidewalks and witnessed for herself his unpredictable behavior when he leaped twice at people for no reason. Jennifer was very confident that she could train him so we left Tuco with her for three weeks. It was the best investment we ever made for him! We got back an unrecognizable Tuco who was so well behaved that he only had to be told a command once before executing! When we picked him up, Jennifer demonstrated his new behavior by walking a big Rottweiler that he didn't know on the same sidewalk. When the dogs passed each other, Tuco kept looking straight and did not engage the Rottie. This would have have been impossible prior to the training. Also, Jen gave us a training collar with a remote. When we put it on him before walks, he knows it's work time and we hardly ever have to correct him. While on vacation, Jen sent daily pictures and videos of Tuco and as time progressed we became more and more shocked with what she was able to do with him, like attending a concert at a public venue with tons of people around him or walking with him at Home Depot and Pet Smart! It is clear to us that Jen deeply cares for Tuco and established a clear bond with him. He's not just another dog getting training -- each dog gets Jen's undivided attention when it's worktime! Our only regret is that we didn't hear about Jen sooner! Tuco is not five and our quality of life and piece of mind would have been so much better if we had trained him sooner. Since that time, we brought in our other dogs to Jen, both American Eskimos, one with a HUGE temper! Again, Jen did her magic and he is the most well-behaved little guy! We can't recommend Jen strongly enough. Regardless of the problem or issues you have with your dog, Jen will take the time to understand his/her motivation and create an effective customized program. Jen is THE BEST!!!

After getting to the car, I noticed blood on the seat and that he was licking his paw and unusually quiet. I took him back inside immediately, and they applied powder and said they "probably cut the quick." Accidents can happen, but what was upsetting was that this was not disclosed at pickup. There was a significant amount of blood, and I had to discover it myself after leaving. Transparency is important when it comes to our pets. Additionally, we were not happy with the haircut, as it appeared uneven and not what we expected. We hope they improve communication with pet owners in the future.

My story: I found Kristina from a random post on Facebook when searching for a dog trainer. My dog (standard poodle) and I had worked with other trainers, I watched a bunch of YouTube videos, consulted dog training forums, but were still having trouble improving certain behaviors at around the 9 month mark (dog adolescence). Kristina and I started working once a week. She provided her expertise and tools, which my dog and I practiced throughout the week. There was a big improvement in a short time! You can tell Kristina really cares about dogs and is very welcoming and helpful to someone like myself who is a novice when it comes to training. We are also using Kristina's boarding service, as she has a loving home environment (instead of locking dogs up in kennels all day). Kristina is a great choice for anyone who loves their dog and wants them to reach their full friendly, well-behaved potential. BOARDING SERVICES: Kristina went above and beyond to accommodate my/my dog's needs during the 4-night stay! She sent photos to update me which was awesome. My main concern when boarding my dog is that he not be cooped up and neglected like most boarding places. Kristina cares and plays with the dogs, ensuring they are fully taken care of and happy! In classes she sprayed listerine in dog's faces or at least that is what she said was in the bottle. Said it does not hurt them but it has alcohol in it and she sprayed them right in the face. As I said my experience was almost 12 years ago but I hear from other trainers she is still training and still not treating dogs right. For what all I paid and she took him for several weeks. He learned 1 command well.
