My daughter working with the rescue dogs after being coached by Marj the Dog Trainer!!!

Marj has worked diligently with both myself and my daughter to get our service dogs trained. We also use her as the trainer for Doberman Rescue. With over 50 years of experience, there has yet to be a behavior she can't help us figure out, or even a bad habit she hasn't been able to help us break in a positive way. I HIGHLY recommend Marj!! She is so great about getting the entire household on board with making sure you have the best and most obedient dog you could imagine. I'm grateful every day for the freedom we are gaining with our service dogs along with the training of our rescue dog which will help insure they will be the best pets!

That's Right Folks - Since she took the liberty of putting down my dog without asking I got nothing- I urge you to read before you get con'd

Marj the Dog Trainer(Glad Wags Service Dogs) isn't a dog trainer! She claims to train all dogs. She picked out mine (several times) and never got it right. Once my dog was "ready" she only coached us (there were about 7 teams training) on sit, heel, down and come breifly. Below is an explaination of what accured or for the most part lack of. I do not by any means incourage anyone to go through her for anything. I attached a photo also of what I got. GLAD WAGS SERVICE DOGS I went to Glad Wags Service Dogs in Tulsa, OK in the fall of 2020 and agreed to have them train a service dog for me. Not right away though. I asked her (Marj-the dog trainer) all the right questions you ask any dog trainer. She knew all the answers. Plus, I really needed a service dog for all my medical issues, and had been looking for a couple of years for the right place to have it done. I have multiple medical issues Epilepsy, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Raynaud's Syndrome, and I have had to have multiple back surgeries. That is only a few of the issues I have going on. Marj Satterfield said she evaluated a dog she picked up running lose, said it passed the evaluation. Then a month or two later I get a call from her saying it bit her, and appeared to have gotten an aggressive streak (she was guessing from an old injury) but she did not want to rack up vet bills. So, she went dog searching. She found Cezanne at a shelter "trained her all the way through". That included a training session with me and Cezanne and about 5 or 6 other people, just going over the basic commands (sit, down, heel, come, and stay). That's not a service dog, that's a pet. When I got Cezanne home, she would only kind of heel, and come. It took me 2 months to get Cezanne to sit. I think she knew Marj would whack her one good with a horse whip, if she didn't. Which is what she told me to use and do. Marj, did encourage me not to do it in front of others because of what they would say. Once I got home with Cezanne, I trained just like Marj said minus the whacking with the horse whip. I continued to use the whip, but I took Marj's whacking down quite a bit. When we, (Cézanne and I) went into a store of any kind (especially a grocery store) she would let her nose get away from her sniffing everything and everyone. A true service dog is not trained to be a pet, but to be an invisible extension of the handler. My dog, Cezanne, was even taken back so Marj Satterfield could put "more training on her". I set a date to hand Cézanne over to Marj July 16th 2022. Well, Marj e-mailed me saying she couldn't. So, I rescheduled for August. Well, Marj gave another excuse when it came close to the hand off date. So, I rescheduled for September 3rd. She finally made it to our drop off location. So, I finally got Cézanne handed over. She was wowed, by how good I had taken care of her. Then down the road (late Oct/early Nov) Marj called me and told me they had to put Cézanne down, but not till the day after. So, she started looking for another dog for me. She ended up with a Sheepadoodle. Then called me Dec 2nd, saying she was gone for a month due to a niece's funeral. Then went on to say, when she went to pick up the dog from the breeder, because the breeder just housed and fed it while she was gone, it was no longer a good candidate for a service dog. She wanted my finale ok to go on to another dog. I told her I would have to sleep on it and call her back. Well, that is just what I did, I called her the next morning. I told her, "I could not in good conscious give her the ok to go on to a 4th dog". I came to the conclusion that she is NOT a dog trainer. I would highly encourage all those out there looking for a service dog NOT to go through Glad Wags. "Glad Wags Service Dogs" is all a joke. I was with them from the fall of 2020 to Dec 2022. The service dog they gave me, when I took it back for more training, they euthanized it. They didn't bother telling me till the following day. So, I am still without a dog. What I got was a badly trained pet ,yes, and a far cry from a service dog. Glad Wags Service Dog Info. gladwagsservicedogs.com 4950 South 79th East Ave, Tulsa, OK 74145 Phone-(918)504-1764

I cannot express this enough: Dogville is the best place I could ever hope to send my pup…read more I'll be honest, I have a horrible habit of trying a new place once, and writing a review immediately after. And now I must admit, I have been waiting on this review for far too long. We found Dogville about 6 months ago when we were looking for a possible boarding facility for our then 7 month old border collie/terrier mix. She is extremely energetic, and love people/dogs, but has horrible separation anxiety when we have to leave her. We were hoping for two things: a safe, responsible boarding facility where she would feel welcomed and loved, not trapped, and a daycare to help get her some exercise during a long work week for us. We have easily found both here, and I cannot even begin to imagine sending her anywhere else. After only 2 times of bringing her in, the staff members knew her on site and were excited to welcome her in. They gave us assurances her first several times in regarding how she was doing, and even continue to check in with us at pick up or they have a spare moment. We have run into staff members at community events, and my pup treats them like any other member of the family. She rushes to get in the door, and isn't even nervous to leave us anymore. The staff members are so kind, and attentive, both to owners and animals, and do an absolutely amazing job making sure everyone is safe and cares for appropriately. We now take her to daycare at least once a week, and always look forward to stories about her playtime. They were even able to dress her up and take birthday pictures of her for us because we unfortunately had to be out of town the day it happened this year (I'll attach those here). They have such cute opportunities and features, keep the facility clean, and above all else, truly care about the dogs. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I can, and will continue to do so.

We have a beautiful black Cairn terrier named Milo. He is a handsome, energetic, bundle of curiosity and life. We took a vacation recently and needed to board him. Aurora's policy is to have all dogs bathed on check-in and they must have current vet records showing up to date immunizations. They offer a bath and grooming package for dogs boarding. We took it and wow. For the first time ever we've had people stop and ask what breed of dog Milo is and how cute he was. Everybody in my family on the day of pick up commented about how fantastic he looked and was acting. He strutted around the house and yard like he was a prime stud dog. Tail straight up and head high, as if he knew how he looked. We laughed out loud. The difference? For the first time ever our Cairn was cut perfectly to the AKC Cairn standard. Not like a short haired rat that was being used as a grooming dummy to train novice grooming students. The facility and kennels were very clean. The workers very professional and informative. Great listeners. One employee, Julie, in conjunction with her AKC judge husband, own the number one ranked champion Saluki in the nation. Their dog won Westminister last year I believe. They understand dogs and have worked with them all her life. For compassionate care, communication, cleanliness, thoroughness, and such a pleasant disposition that only Chick-fil-a employees seem to exude in today's service sector, I give Aurora Kennels/Grooming 5 stars without reservation.
