I wish there was a way to give negative stars on a review. Over this past weekend we had an appointment with Pawdicure where several things were unacceptable, but overall, they abused my dog. Here are the top takeaways: 1. You cannot guarantee you receive the same tech to build a relationship with your dog like they advertise. They will not let you know if a different tech is coming until they are there and you are not given an opportunity to cancel. 2. The Pawdicure tech we had abused my dog. She asked for my husband to step inside our home so she could try a different "technique". I was not home and hopped on our ring camera to see how the appointment was going. What I saw was terrifying and unacceptable. She had our dog pinned in the corner of our porch, with her foot on his leash to keep him down, while yanking on his paw to get at his nails. He then got the leash out from under her foot and was attempting to run from her while she chased him trying to grab at his paws. He had a very secure harness on but was thrashing so much that he got a paw out. While seeing him experience this anxiety and distress she did not let up and continued to chase and pull at his paws. We are lucky my dog was not hurt in this altercation. 3. This company will only operate over text or email. I had reached out to the owner, Sydnie, letting her know we were very upset and wanted to speak with her on the phone to explain the altercation. She refused several times to speak with us over the phone and told us to email her. Not only do I personally find it unprofessional to not speak with an upset customer on the phone, but it shows they do not care about their customers' experience. Overall, not only do I not recommend or support Pawdicure, but I will continue to shout into the void for anyone to listen: Never use Pawdicure if you want to risk your dog being abused/hurt. Pawdicure advertises in specializing with dogs who have anxiety, but will only abuse and give your dog more trauma/anxiety. Pawdicure did refund us our money for the appointment, but you cannot refund the trauma we experienced. read more

Had our first Pawdicure with ear cleaning with Kyanne. Our INDe is very hesitant about having her nails clipped. Kyanne and I was able to calm her enough for clipping. The website reflects trim and pad balm (trim not necessary but balm not applied at visit). Ear cleaning was extremely basic wiping of ears... I'll skip that if I try again. Biggest complaints? Kyanne convinced us to go with ther monthly plan which is $5 off. They scheduled the next visit which conflicts with our availability. Moved to next week and was advised it would be regular price. Crazy to market to gain business to quickly make one question your services and pricing. Cancelled and might try the clinic next time. read more

I love Pawdicure. They come to my home and take care of my dog so I don't have to! She's not much of a fussy dog when it comes to being groomed, but the convenience is oh so worth it. It almost feels like they remember to do her nails more than I do! I setup recurring appointments for her every 2 months and they come on by. I have experienced a couple of scheduling issues but I think it was during a time they were doing some upgrades to the website or scheduling platform, but it all worked out. I have also experienced their 'free promo' of a teeth and ear cleaning and it wasn't very thorough, so I won't be getting that add on. I love the nail techs that come, they love my dog. I tried to use this service for the first time. They messed up my appointment time (by an hour!) and got defensive when I called to fix it. My appointment was for 3:45. I received a text at 3:29 saying Sydnie wouldn't make it until after 4:15, and that I would receive a confirmation. I had told them the day before (when I was trying to fix their scheduling mess up) that I wasn't available that late in the day. At 4:14, when I hadn't heard from anyone, I tried calling and sending multiple texts to cancel my appointment. She showed up any way....at 4:22. That is 37 minutes past their 30 minute cushion. When I opened the door, and told her that I was displease and that I had tried to contact them, I got told that she left her phone in the car (reason why she didn't answer or get my texts, even though she was in her car at the time of the car) and that she doesn't appreciate how I talked to her ( I never even raised my voice). I tried to explain, that as a business owner for over 20 years, you have to respect your customer's time, she got defensive and hateful. I dismissed her and closed my door. I WILL NEVER use this company or recommend them to anyone. I would give less than a 1 star if I could. I wasn't going to leave a negative review, until my interaction with her on my front porch. UPDATE: As I am not permitted to respond directly to Pawdicure's response to my review, I will respond this way. 1) I have not only written record of what I posted in my review, but I have a video of my intraction with Sydnie on my front porch, as I have a Ring doorbell that captures everything. So, I have proof that what I am saying is accurate. 2) I NEVER yelled at Sydnie. Not once. I did try to joke with her, on the phone about tech not working like it should, to which she got offended because she thought I meant the grooming tech. I had to explain that I meant technology, as she blamed the technology (software) for having my appointment down as 4:45 instead of 3:45. I even welcomed her to the "owning your own business" club. I will tell you that I am deaf in one ear, and sometimes talk much louder than I intend. People assume I am yelling when I am not. I tried to explain this to Sydnie, on my front porch, but she wouldn't listen. So I apologize that she thought I was yelling. I wasn't. I wasn't even mad on the phone, just confused. 3) Sydnie was 7 minutes late for the 30 minutes past the appointment time. I called at 4:16 and 4:17. She did not answer. I left a message the second time. I sent a text at 4:14 saying I was no longer available. That text went unanswered. I sent 3 more at 4:18, also went unanswered. She showed up at my front porch at 4:22. I have video record of the time, as well as time stamped texts and the phone calls. read more
