I was so impressed with Jamie--she did a beautiful cut. She was also attentive to his ears, for which I am grateful--they had not been plucked well at my just-before-moving appointment and she took care of it with an extra walk-in quicky. Tragic. I would give a negative star if I could. Took my dog…read moreto them for more than a year, no problem. Then, after a routine 6-week grooming, I picked him up. I notice he had a small tuft of hair on his tail that looked odd, but I just figured he had nipped at an itch. I was not told of anything happening during his session and even called, once I notice it was bothering him, to see if maybe a new shampoo had been used that was causing irritation or other dogs were having reactions to something. I was assured nothing different had occurred during his grooming. I was never expecting what came next. Two days later his tail had become super irritated and was losing fur due to his chewing on it. A couple of more days of his not responding to anti-itch meds and a cone, and I went to my vet. She discovered his tail had a 'guillotine' cut at his base, where the tuft had been, and the blood vessels were severed, like something heavy had dropped/shut on it. His tail was dying. After daily treatment, meds, and artificial skin attempts he literally ate his tail. $1500 later and major trauma to my pet and my family, he is recovering now with a bobbed tail. Throughout this entire devastating experience, the groomers never admitted to the chance that something happened during the grooming and at one point suggested I might have shut his tail in my vehicle's door! Really?!! All I know is that he went in as usual: beautiful, happy, and healthy. He came out with a dying tail.

Plus, we did the anti-shedding treatment and I'm already amazed at how perfectly it's working. I was on the fence about trying it because the "furminator" treatment at PetSmart did not work for us at all. So glad we did the treatment here. Before booking, I was really concerned about the pickup time issues mentioned in previous reviews, but I just asked her if she would be able assure us of a no later than 6:00pm pickup time, since that was vital for us. She assured us she could and she absolutely delivered! Dropped off at 10:30am and picked up at 6:00pm. Perfectly groomed pup right on time. Cherry was also very nice, professional, and easy to communicate with. We couldn't be happier with the whole experience!

DOUBLE-COAT OWNERS BEWARE…read more This shop hires dog washers, not groomers. They are great at giving baths, and they are nice people, but being nice doesn't mean you're good at what you do. My parents have owned pomeranians for years and have been going to these people for a long time. Never once have I seen one of those poms with severe matting, and yet, these poor dogs come back shaved to the skin. If a dog's fur is matted, as a groomer, you take the time and make sure it's taken care of. If the coat is severely matted, you shave the coat. If the coat is difficult to untangle, you have a difficult job to do. You don't take short cuts and shave a dog, to possibly ruin the way their fur grows for the rest of their lives. I swear this salon doesn't know how to give a scissor cut to save their lives, and the way they shave dog's with hardly any matting goes to show the laziness and lack of care they have for the pets that we pay to have groomed. I'm surprised that I'm just leaving a Google review and not coming to have a discussion in person. If it were possible, I'd sue if the dogs fur didn't grow back the same. (I'd include pictures if my phone was allowing, but it makes me mad every time I look at them. My youngest niece was in tears when she saw the dogs.) Services
