Until today, I have always been satisfied with SDW. I have been a customer for several years. SDW has posted hours of 10:00 to 6:00 on Sunday. I walked in at 5:11 this evening hoping to wash my dog. The employee made eye contact with me immediately from the back room. I stood at the counter waiting for 5 minutes. This wasn't a problem for me until the employee told me that I was too late for a wash. That they stop taking self wash customers at 5:15. It was 5:16 by their clock on the wall. The employee stood in the back until it was after time and turned me away. I was very unsatisfied and very surprised by the poor 'customer service'. There are multiple self serve dog wash businesses in the area. I will start using one of the businesses that I typically pass on the way to SDW. read more

$160 to wash/deshed 2 dogs. They couldn't dry one of the dogs & she looks terrible & the other dog still has tons of loose hair. TERRIBLE place to go for dog grooming or any dog services. Their services here are SLOPPY as described. 0 STARS!!! Staff is rude & can't do their job. Everyone needs to be fired & hire professionals if you want to charge $160 for a dog bath. read more

Broken Arrow OK (NOT SanFrancisco) Have used them for a long time as the raised 'tubs' are helpful; but today was last time. The facility needs some TLC. Additionally, having my dogs nailed filed the person doing it pulled her leg back, my dog whimpered and I spoke up; then my dog let a low growl. The person doing the filing was not friendly (no smile, did not address dog by name, or speak softly to her) . I have never had concerns before, but I can take her elsewhere for nail trim and will go back to bathing at home. read more

2nd stall. The water never got warm. The dryer was also blowing ice cold. There was a basket of dirty, wet towels on the floor, but no clean, dry ones anywhere. If I had known the water AND dryer were going to be cold, I never would have started the process. read more

Dropped in to give Ruff a quick bath. This was my first time to this establishment. No greeting or even how can I help you today when I walked into the shop. The overall feeling I had was it was kind of inconvenience for them. Then was charged $22 for the wash that I performed. Little over priced but I know there is overhead costs and my fault for not asking ahead of time. When paying a tip was expected. Really? Then the employee charged me twice on my card... Oh my goodness... It took quite sometime for the employee to call someone and try to remedy the error. I confirmed it was corrected on my credit card so kudos for making that happen. Now I found a Dog Wash located on 81st and 145th which is at a Car Wash. The facilities has a nice ramp for dogs to walk up into the large tub. You get shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer and it is $8. The bonus here is "I get a clean dog and a clean car." read more

GO READ MY GOOGLE REVIEW AS WELL! On the BA location. Owner Eric Brown-Odell is nothing more then a terrible business owner and person. We had issues with our grooming services on Aug 5th. My wife contacted Eric through the SDW email she was provided on Aug 6. He replied a few times with no solutions and being passive aggressive towards my wife. After my wife requested a direct number so we can discuss the issue he quit responding. I then sent an email on Aug 8th with my number so he could call me. To which he never replied. Only reply we have received since then was his reply to my google review. His reply is nothing but a fabricated lie and he's trying to slander our names. DO NOT give this "man" your business. Based on many other google reviews I read after our problems, this definitely isn't the first time and probably won't be the last time that he treats people this way when they have a complaint about their services. Mike was out groomer and he did not groom out dogs the way we requested. We asked for a trim and clean up and to Mike and Eric that means it's okay to buzz our Aussie shepherd/poodle mix with a 1.5 guard. I have all the emails to prove him wrong I'm his allegations against us. I also have an anonymous inside source that this isn't the first time Mike messed up and Eric treated customers this way. He also messed up our other aussie shepherd mix by buzzing the top of her back short and giving an all around uneven cut. Before and after pics of my Aussie shepherd poodle mix. Back shot of my Aussie shepherd mix and our email exchange. read more

My 85-lb Great Dane, GSD, Norwegian Wolf Hound, and who knows what else mixed breed has very fine wavy, fringed fur. It mats easily and I like to keep him groomed. Do you know how hard it is to find a good groomer who takes large dogs? Very! Jac, our groomer, did a great job getting my baby boy groomed. He smells wonderful but not heavily perfumed. The only problem I had was that my husband did not tell her to trim his muzzle short, and I couldn't leave a message for her. We have used the self-service dog bathing stations several times with different dogs, and everything was clean, and the attendant attentive to our needs for more towels or whatever we needed. read more

Do not take your dog to Sloppy Dog Wash and use their grooming services unless you want to be overcharged for the service and your dog to look like a lion. The owner, Eric Brown, while quick to respond to my email stating my dissatisfaction, is passive-aggressive and rude. He fired me after I told him twice I would not be back to SDW. He was nice and provided me with store credit for which I will never use. I would leave no stars but I didn't have that option. read more

I love the groomer that does my dog. Her name is Laura and she does everything she can do to please me and make my doggy look great!! Sloppy Dogs was recommended to me when I first moved to Tulsa and they were right about the service there. read more

Will NEVER bring my dog here again! It was my first visit and the younger woman at the front who was kind enough checked me in, asked me if I'd been there before.. I answered no. Then told her my dog was recently washed but he specifically needs his anal glands done. She asked if that was all I needed, I said yes but since it's messy I would also need a wash. She told me she would make a note since it's not something they do unless asked to do so. Happy I had asked I left my dog to get washed. 4 hours later I come to get my pup and ask if they were able to clean out his anal glands. The guy helping me said they don't do that service. Then got the (manager?) who told me they only have groomers do that and that my dog wasn't seen by a groomer. I insisted the lady who checked me in had marked it down for it to be done and assured me it would be. They went to talk to her and came back to tell me "it was busy this morning and she doesn't remember, if she was my assistant she would haven't told you that... but she's not." Bottom line is if you want a random person to wash your dog for the cost of a groomer wash ... then by all means please bring your dog here, my dog is very clean. If you are expecting a professional to wash your dog and you want any other services besides soap then go somewhere else! read more

Nope!! Wrong place to wash any dog. The first 4 times I washed here was great. But, the slide downhill was quick. Expect to bath your dog in a nasty environment full of the last hair and worse. Also, their closing time IS NOT their closing time. Please do NOT drive across town (like I have done) expecting to get in 50 minutes before closing. Nope! There are no start times within 1 hour of closing. read more

Clean establishment. You can wash your dog yourself or drop off for a grooming appointment. This location is so much better than the Peoria location. Sarah groomed our dog and she did a perfect job. It wasn't easy either because my dog is a anxious 100 pound St Pyrenees. Staff is always welcoming, kind & professional. We'll definitely be back and requesting Sarah. read more

I brought my two shelties in today for a bath and, I thought, blow dry. The people were very sweet, but it took longer than expected and they were still wet when I picked them up. I had to come home and finish blow drying them and they actually looked better before they went in then after. Again, very sweet people, but I do not feel I got my money's worth. read more

Sloppy dog wash is my absolute go to for getting my little shih tzu groomed. They're always so sweet and I always have a request for how she's cut that they always accommodate. I've used multiple stylists and they're all wonderful. I highly recommend this place. I've been to multiple groomers and they're the best in my opinion. Daisy has never been nicked once after years and they always make her look so adorable. Super happy with this place!! read more

Nothing like the amenities of Sloppy Dog Wash to clean an 80-pound Labrador!! The store front has retail shop set up for grooming supplies, dog toys and treats. They offer self-service bathing as well as professional grooming services for your dog. The prices vary based on what you want. We opted for the basic Sloppy Dog wash and received a free shampoo upgrade using my Yelp check-in. My dog had ease getting in the tub and the attendant was very thorough to explain all the functions. The products were great and left my beloved fur baby smelling fantabulous! Only thing that kept me from the 5th start was the price. I felt it was pretty expensive for the self-service side. There are a couple of other self-service dog wash places in town for about half the price. read more

We just picked up our 3 pound princess at this facility and they did a horrible job. It look like a $50 haircut, with no wash. Her face and feet were still dirty.Last few times we had been there Sarah had groomed our dog and done an excellent job. They said she had quit working there, we won't go back there will find someplace else, that pays a little more attention to detail. read more

Attendant was friendly with me but did not talk to my dog. She kept leaving my dog tried up to the tub to answer the phone and wait on customers. She would go back to him again no speaking to him just picking up where she left off. When it came time to dry him she pointed the dryer nozzle at him then turned it on. She did not prepare him for the sound or anything. Not one did she talk to him. I have used them in the past with two of my other dogs but I won't be back again! This new person is NOT good with dog! read more

This is a great place and Susan teague is a awesome worker and great with customers!!!!

Took my dog in to get trimmed, bathed and the normal things. She is a golden retriever mix. Told them I wanted her hair trimmed about an inch as she does not handle the heat well. Told them I did not want her shaved. Picked her up and she did not even look like my dog. What hair that is left is maybe 1/2 inch long or shorter. The groomer argued with me when I told her I was not happy and told me that was what I wanted. This is not the first time I have had a problem with a groomer at this place. It will be the last time. Nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. If you want a groomer to listen to what you want done, do not go here. read more

I take my daughter...err....dog to Sloppy Dog every month to get her nails clipped and sanded down to get the edges off. They know me when I come in, always greet me right away and can get us taken care of right away. She gets a treat ( as spoiled as she is I usually buy her a toy too ) and she is always happy to go in. I am SO happy to have them only 1 mile from my house and I highly recommend Sloppy Dog! read more

I have poodles and have always had a decent groom. The last time I brought my babies in someone else groomed my dogs. When I got home I saw that they didn't look like they'd been brushes, their hair was all uneven and their topknots were gone. They didn't even smell like they'd been washed. I had to take them to another groomer and have their hair evened up. Terrible groom. If you have poodles I'd recommend somewhere else to clip them. read more

Clean facility, friendly staff. It's a convenient alternative because I like to give my Golden Retriever a bath when she doesn't need a full grooming. I usually bring my own shampoo & conditioner but they have everything you need on hand there and included in the price of a self wash. My 75+ pound dog may not enjoy getting a bath but Sloppy Dog Wash sure makes the process easier on me! read more

Went here today based on recommendation of ladies at the dog park. I took my 2 huge labradors at the same time and was worried it would be frowned upon since I can't realistically control them both if I'm giving one a bath. The employee working couldn't have been friendlier. She set me up in a booth where I could let one loose on the floor while i was washing the other one. At first I thought the self-serve pricing was a little expensive, but honestly, I think it was a good value. I spent $30 total on the basic self-serve wash for 2 big, hairy dogs. They were more than generous with shampoo, conditioner, and towels. I left the booth and tub a mess from all their hair and when I apologized to the girl, she was super nice and basically said that's what it's there for. (And she's right- this is why I don't wash them at home). Also, the cost of the self-serve isn't limited in time so you could spend an hour washing and fully drying your dog if that's what it took. If I hadn't had 2 at once, I would have spent more time with the fantastic blow dryer. Considering it normally costs me $35 per dog to get them bathed at the vet (or here if you choose full service I think), I'm a happy customer and will be back. read more

Waited 2 1/2 weeks to get our dog in and at the time that I made the appointment, I explained that she needed a grooming asap and if there were cancellations, to call me and I would bring her in immediately. Have been using this service for many years and although we had problems with them, it was convenient to our home. The day before our appointment, they called and wanted us to wait another week and a 1/2. Our dog was getting so matted and needed grooming and I said that I didn't think it was fair to have to wait longer especially when I had said in the beginning that we were needing grooming asap. They said that we could go ahead and bring her in. Went in for our appointment and about 1 1/2 later, I get a call from the owner, who told me that since I had so many complaints with their service, that I needed to come get my dog and not come there any more. I thought she had confused me with someone else but she claimed not. Went to pick up our dog (who was not groomed) and the owner was there and her employees all acted weird, scuttling around and watching me talk to the owner. I told her that I didn't understand why this was happening and the only other time I had said anything was when they sent my dog home bleeding from a cut nail/paw and asked how to stop the bleeding. That time, I didn't notice until I got home and saw all the blood on us from holding the dog but I didn't make a big deal out of it. I have never been banned from anywhere before and can't understand their behaviors but have told many people about the problem. Vet was shocked this would happen and advised to go to Petsmart, got in within 24 hours (could have done it same day but by time I was told, it was too late to get in). Petsmart did an awesome job. I was also recommended to try Wags & Wiggles or Bouse Fur House and I was told that I wasn't the only one that had problems with Sloppy Dog. read more

This is a wonderful, safe place to wash your dogs. I have an animal rescue, and need to wash a lot of dogs. This facility provides a self-wash area with a latched door (boundaries!), a safe way to secure the animal you are washing, apron (to stay dry), shampoo, towels, and a cool-air dryer. The staff are very helpful if you need it, and will help you hold an animal if you need to clip it's nails. I have been using this facility frequently for over a year, and it is consistently clean, friendly and helpful. I appreciate being able to wash my rescues myself because it saves a lot of money for grooming that I can spend on spay/neuter and other medical issues. Their hours are convenient for me, and their rates are very economical. Thanks, Sloppy Dog Wash! read more

I took my two Golden doodles here with my kids to wash them this past Sunday, hearing from a co-worker about the place I figured I would stop breaking my back in a bathtub and give it a try. Pretty much from the beginning of walking in we didn't have a good experience. We walked in and there was a lady off in one of the stalls blowing drying a white Husky. We kind of stood at the counter, never having been there before we weren't too sure on what to do. She finally turned off the dryer. Took my name and said ok you can go in this one. (right next to her stall) So she kind of briefly goes over the items and walks off. We start washing our first dog. Within a few minutes white dog hair is flying over into our area. And it wasn't a little bit. Like white clouds of dog hair. So I told my daughter hey ask her if we can move so we don't get dog hair all over us ( my golden doodles don't shed) she tells me that its normal with all large breeds but that she guesses we could go to the end of the room. At this point my dog is soaked, so I just wanted to hurry and get her wash finished. So I hurried and washed her. Asked the lady again how I would get her down there. Not wanting to get the floors wet. She replies the same way you brought them in and goes on drying the Husky. At this point I'm like why has she not said sorry, or being a little less bothered that I don't want dog hair all over us. I wish I had taken a picture, our dark brown towels were covered with hair. my kids had fur in their hair. It was ridiculous. The lady never apologized. After getting thru. We waited a few minutes for her to get to the counter, paid and left. I started thinking. she charged me $36. The website says $18 for the first dog, $15 for additional in the same stall. I called her, she said no its $20 and $16. Didn't say oh sorry for the mistake on our part for not updating site. So my complaints would be with all that being said, That lady needs to learn some customer care and be a little more mindful of what she's saying and doing. She gave no options as to like the website there a few different packages. The actually bathing station is useful but they don't provide much shampoo and conditioner so if your dog is really furry like mine, you might bring or purchase your own. The blow dryer is an actual compressor so it blows nothing but cold air. My girl dog shivered for a while till I was able to get majority of her hair dry. I wish I had caught the girls name I dealt with on Saturday, since she was really the problem. But she reflects the company since she works there. So I guess onto using my tub till the weather clears up and they can start going to the groomers again, I would not recommend this place based on their customer service. When you're dealing with people, dogs and children its a good idea to be friendly and helpful. She was not. read more

I've been using Sloppy Dog Wash for about five years and they are always very professional and I have always been pleased with their work. All I can say is that it sounds like a very unique experience Tiffin must've had and I'm sure the owner feels terrible about it. I don't believe that's is the norm at Sloppy Dog, at least that hasn't been my experience in the past five years. I love this place! read more

I have two big hairy dogs and we have used the drop off and the self serve and like both. Either way, I don't have to clean up, which is a good thing. The store has lots of treats and especially a brand of chew toys that my dogs really like. The drop off goes really smoothly and I can usually come and claim them in less than 2 hours. The dogs pratically drag me in the door when we drive up, so even though they are getting a bath they don't seem to mind. read more

I've taken rescue dogs here to be washed, they helped wash, showed me how to operate everything were friendly and helpful. As for nails bleeding - even at a vet this can occur. For winter this is a great place to bathe your dog. As for employees, all you have to do is asked for those who are experienced...the novices will make errors but hey no one is perfect. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE for grooming!!! We had a 10 am appointment (when they open) at the Broken Arrow location and then to find out that another dog was scheduled at the same time. (They have only one groomer) Almost 4 HOURS later, we got a call that my dog had jumped off of the groomer's table and escaped outside through the main door. He was NOT secured while the groomer was putting on his leash, which in itself is neglect and irresponsibility. It's not the first time that my dog tried to get out of the door, when we used their self serve wash, and he was on a leash. If my 63 lb. dog can get out of a door, don't you think that they need better security??? I am very thankful that he wasn't hit by a car, but was caught by a member of an awesome rescue group who "happened" to be in the parking lot. HOWEVER...he had damage to his paw pads and was extremely traumatized. The groomer didn't charge us for the grooming, but she refused to pay the vet bill after a necessary visit. I hope that no one else goes through this because their pet could go through worse and I know the owner doesn't want to be sued. read more
