She listened to our concerns and even watched a small video we took of our dog. She was concerned and recommended we get an X-ray if we wanted. She was not pushy. She just said we need peace of mind that it's not something else. She was right. Our little guy had bladder stones and one stuck in his urethrae. She called in the surgeon, Dr. Don Schmidt. He rearranged his schedule and got our boy straight in for surgery. We didn't have to take him someplace else or wait another day. That was so nice. He had his appointment at 2pm then surgery shortly afterwards and we had him in our arms by 6:30. I'm so impressed with them. Also, we asked for a refill from a previous vet on some anxiety medicine for him. Dr. Baker was like, no problem. She told us to order it through Chewy since they didn't have it in stock and we needed it quickly for the fireworks coming in a few days. She said she would take care of it on her end and give authorization to Chewy when they called. The only thing I was kind of disappointed about was the tension at the front desk when we checked out. There could have been better customer service there. But overall we were happy with the service and the amount of care from the vets. Update: When we got home a few hours later, our dog was wincing in pain. We gave him some of the meds the doctor gave us but he still winced terribly. We had to take him to the ER and leave him overnight to get a slow drip of pain meds. Update -2 weeks later- Midnight is doing so well. He seems like he has gotten two years knocked off his age. He's getting around like a spring chicken. We went back to get stitches out and the staff was excellent. The front desk staff took time to talk to me about my dogs, and Dr. Baker met with me and discussed what we need to do for Midnight going forward. She wrote it all down for me so I could look over my options. I am very pleased and will return.

Not a good sign. Then I began feeling as if they were pushing treatments and vaccines my dogs didn't need. My final straw came when I kept telling them that my girl had a UTI. They didn't test her, but kept pushing other treatments. She got worse, and when I finally insisted on an ultrasound I learned that 1. She not only had a severe UTI, but also a very large bladder stone and infection. (They also charged me $10 to shave a 2" section of hair over her vaginal area on the 3rd visit. I could have done that!). All told, we ended up spending an enormous amount of money and time on a surgery we may have been able to prevent. On top of this, I have another dog with hypothyroidism. His meds ran anywhere from $28 to $38 dollars per month. I've switched vets. The new vet gave me a prescription for his meds. IT WAS LESS THAN $5!!!! This vet is for the rich.

DOUBLE-COAT OWNERS BEWARE…read more This shop hires dog washers, not groomers. They are great at giving baths, and they are nice people, but being nice doesn't mean you're good at what you do. My parents have owned pomeranians for years and have been going to these people for a long time. Never once have I seen one of those poms with severe matting, and yet, these poor dogs come back shaved to the skin. If a dog's fur is matted, as a groomer, you take the time and make sure it's taken care of. If the coat is severely matted, you shave the coat. If the coat is difficult to untangle, you have a difficult job to do. You don't take short cuts and shave a dog, to possibly ruin the way their fur grows for the rest of their lives. I swear this salon doesn't know how to give a scissor cut to save their lives, and the way they shave dog's with hardly any matting goes to show the laziness and lack of care they have for the pets that we pay to have groomed. I'm surprised that I'm just leaving a Google review and not coming to have a discussion in person. If it were possible, I'd sue if the dogs fur didn't grow back the same. (I'd include pictures if my phone was allowing, but it makes me mad every time I look at them. My youngest niece was in tears when she saw the dogs.) Services
