Monroe Paula A DVM

Monroe Paula A DVM

East Tulsa

Dr Paula A Monroe DVM was all about blaming me, because my dog apparently got bitten while in care…read moreat Rivertrail Animal Hospital. My dog had been given a bath, when I picked him up, because the dogs played in mud. (where worms live?) I noticed a bump on his back, but didn't examine it carefully the next day. I called Rivertrail the next morning, and took my dog to his Vet then, to Rivertrail. Dr. Paula A Monroe,DVM, was very much on the defensive. I was told over and over again, that dogs nip. My dog is a jack russell, the bleeding that I washed off him, wasn't caused from a nip. And I saw 2 distinct puncture wounds. When I explained, that I was not even asking them to pay, and the wound was healing fine, Dr Paula A Monroe, DVM became very aggressive, demanding to know what it was I wanted. When I explained I didn't want anything, and tried to explain, they were aggressive about it, she just kept saying I just don't know what you want. Out of sheer frustration, I said , you know I am tired of being attacked about this, I haven't done anything , she got even more upset with me, and demanded that I leave. She accused me of cussing, because in exhaustion and frustration, I said I didn't need the shit. When I stopped at the desk on my way out to try to figure out what to do, she popped out from behind the counter and insisted that I leave and threatened to call the POLICE! I had never raised my voice, she did, and did from the time I got there. I only needed help with my Jack Russell. I needed him to be SAFE, and unfortunately, it seems they cannot assure that at Rivertrail Animal Hospital, as my dogs hide is VERY VERY tough, and he hadn't been chewing on himself AT ALL. He is with me 100% of the time and I would have known. The bleed out on this was dried blood and unfortunately no one saw it but me. Therefore, it didn't happen. I WOULD NEVER take my dog there again, and I would certainly NOT recommend anyone take their dog there. Dr Paula A Monroe, DVM was aggressive, offensive, condescending and unprofessional, the likes of which I have never observed in my life. That is my experience. I never once intimated that I wanted any amount of money, or anything except an assurance, I obviously needed a place to help. I sure didn't need this!

Dogville Daycare & Boarding

East Tulsa

I cannot express this enough: Dogville is the best place I could ever hope to send my pup…read more I'll be honest, I have a horrible habit of trying a new place once, and writing a review immediately after. And now I must admit, I have been waiting on this review for far too long. We found Dogville about 6 months ago when we were looking for a possible boarding facility for our then 7 month old border collie/terrier mix. She is extremely energetic, and love people/dogs, but has horrible separation anxiety when we have to leave her. We were hoping for two things: a safe, responsible boarding facility where she would feel welcomed and loved, not trapped, and a daycare to help get her some exercise during a long work week for us. We have easily found both here, and I cannot even begin to imagine sending her anywhere else. After only 2 times of bringing her in, the staff members knew her on site and were excited to welcome her in. They gave us assurances her first several times in regarding how she was doing, and even continue to check in with us at pick up or they have a spare moment. We have run into staff members at community events, and my pup treats them like any other member of the family. She rushes to get in the door, and isn't even nervous to leave us anymore. The staff members are so kind, and attentive, both to owners and animals, and do an absolutely amazing job making sure everyone is safe and cares for appropriately. We now take her to daycare at least once a week, and always look forward to stories about her playtime. They were even able to dress her up and take birthday pictures of her for us because we unfortunately had to be out of town the day it happened this year (I'll attach those here). They have such cute opportunities and features, keep the facility clean, and above all else, truly care about the dogs. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I can, and will continue to do so.

Dogville is the only place I board because they have staff on premise 24/7 and are beyond excellent…read morewith medically compromised and senior dogs.
