We are currently on our way to the emergency vet, as this has become worse and more infected the last few days. They failed to notify us of any wounds or change in behavior, and if there was some sort of altercation with another dog and a puncture wound - they failed to tell us all together. It's so unfortunate that it has come to having to take further steps and get him to the vet for this. When we just spoke on the phone, we were told the manager was not around. She asked us "No one told you?" but didn't elaborate on this. Hopefully the vet can fix this quickly, but this is such a hazard and so dangerous to trust someone to your pet who doesn't even notice the tiniest changes in behavior. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to take the risk of a place not really knowing what you're getting, or who is actually doing what they're paid to. Horrifying.

Another longtime customer lost. Due a stupid error on my…read morepart, (I mistakenly blocked their number) I did not receive their pick up calls (reportedly 2) nor text messages (reportedly 2). When I called to check on my dog, 2 hours after they said he was ready, I was met with a very unprofessional lady on the phone who rudely scolded me for not responding to their calls. At first I could not understand how this could be but soon discovered that I had somehow managed to block their number by mistake. When I arrived I told the person who brought my dog out to me what I had done and I apologized for my dumb mistake. When this person took my card he informed me that my bill was going to be 15$ higher than usual and when I questioned this he responded with a remark about their rent going up and passing the cost onto me. Needless to say, there was no tip for this genius. This was was the most insulting thing a person could say considering it was more likely some sort of penalty fee for picking up my dog late. Furthermore, they do not post their prices on Facebook or their website so they can abuse people at their whim. No more business or referrals from me. I think it's time for Miss Crankypants to retire.

First, the positive. The staff at TDR are extremely nice and really seem to truly love animal. So…read morethere's that. Now, the negative. Their prices are incredibly overpriced. Our boarding facility in California: 1. Charges $30 less per day. This is Oklahoma, not California. The prices should be priced accordingly. 2. Has a dedicated play area for each kennel which is considered an indoor/outdoor run. This is open 24/7. 3. The kennel's owner or staff are on the property 24/7. Our issues with TDR is if they really cared about their tenants, they would have staff on duty 24/7 for emergencies. If something happens after 6pm, your pet is screwed. They won't be checked on until 6 the next morning. That is not acceptable in our book. Another issue is our dogs can't hold their urine for 12+ hours and they urinated on their beds. That NEVER happened at our kennel in California. Now, we have to replace 2 expensive dog beds and to top it off, a dog chewed off the corner of their feed container. Our dogs are trained and wouldn't do that. Needless to say, TDR is off of our preferred list of boarding facilities. A sad lesson learned on our part.

DOUBLE-COAT OWNERS BEWARE…read more This shop hires dog washers, not groomers. They are great at giving baths, and they are nice people, but being nice doesn't mean you're good at what you do. My parents have owned pomeranians for years and have been going to these people for a long time. Never once have I seen one of those poms with severe matting, and yet, these poor dogs come back shaved to the skin. If a dog's fur is matted, as a groomer, you take the time and make sure it's taken care of. If the coat is severely matted, you shave the coat. If the coat is difficult to untangle, you have a difficult job to do. You don't take short cuts and shave a dog, to possibly ruin the way their fur grows for the rest of their lives. I swear this salon doesn't know how to give a scissor cut to save their lives, and the way they shave dog's with hardly any matting goes to show the laziness and lack of care they have for the pets that we pay to have groomed. I'm surprised that I'm just leaving a Google review and not coming to have a discussion in person. If it were possible, I'd sue if the dogs fur didn't grow back the same. (I'd include pictures if my phone was allowing, but it makes me mad every time I look at them. My youngest niece was in tears when she saw the dogs.) Services

I cannot express this enough: Dogville is the best place I could ever hope to send my pup…read more I'll be honest, I have a horrible habit of trying a new place once, and writing a review immediately after. And now I must admit, I have been waiting on this review for far too long. We found Dogville about 6 months ago when we were looking for a possible boarding facility for our then 7 month old border collie/terrier mix. She is extremely energetic, and love people/dogs, but has horrible separation anxiety when we have to leave her. We were hoping for two things: a safe, responsible boarding facility where she would feel welcomed and loved, not trapped, and a daycare to help get her some exercise during a long work week for us. We have easily found both here, and I cannot even begin to imagine sending her anywhere else. After only 2 times of bringing her in, the staff members knew her on site and were excited to welcome her in. They gave us assurances her first several times in regarding how she was doing, and even continue to check in with us at pick up or they have a spare moment. We have run into staff members at community events, and my pup treats them like any other member of the family. She rushes to get in the door, and isn't even nervous to leave us anymore. The staff members are so kind, and attentive, both to owners and animals, and do an absolutely amazing job making sure everyone is safe and cares for appropriately. We now take her to daycare at least once a week, and always look forward to stories about her playtime. They were even able to dress her up and take birthday pictures of her for us because we unfortunately had to be out of town the day it happened this year (I'll attach those here). They have such cute opportunities and features, keep the facility clean, and above all else, truly care about the dogs. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I can, and will continue to do so.
