The staff is super friendly, helpful and informative. They take great care of my Yorkie Lilah, any concerns or questions my wife and I had were and are always answered. Any fears we had going in about putting Lilah in daycare were nullified as they have everything you can possibly think of to make sure your dog is healthy and happy! They also are very attentive in the way they monitor the pets, also being open 7 days a week is definitely a plus since I work two jobs and sometimes my days off rotate. My dog was picked up a few days ago after a week with them. When I arrived home, he had an ankle wound he was licking - and we were never notified of this happening. We are currently on our way to the emergency vet, as this has become worse and more infected the last few days. They failed to notify us of any wounds or change in behavior, and if there was some sort of altercation with another dog and a puncture wound - they failed to tell us all together. It's so unfortunate that it has come to having to take further steps and get him to the vet for this. When we just spoke on the phone, we were told the manager was not around. She asked us "No one told you?" but didn't elaborate on this. Hopefully the vet can fix this quickly, but this is such a hazard and so dangerous to trust someone to your pet who doesn't even notice the tiniest changes in behavior. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to take the risk of a place not really knowing what you're getting, or who is actually doing what they're paid to. Horrifying. read more

We left our 3 small dogs for 8 days. When we picked them up we knew immediately that something was "off". None of them were excited & they seemed lethargic. One had a runny, matted eye and all three have a cough & are sneezing. All 3 are vaccinated. Plus, a new, blanket I had sent with them was lost. So on top of hundreds of dollars for the fee, we will now have a triple vet bill. I do not recommend this facility. read more

Do NOT recommend. My dog is up to date on all vaccines and contracted a severe eye infection here. Which resulted in a high vet bill on top of the extremely high price of boarding. Just seems very unreasonable considering the fact they don't even provide food or treats during your pets stay. Also very disorganized staff. Bad experience. Just want to warn future pet owners who care about their pets health and safety. Please do not take your pets here if you care about their well being. On top of this they refused to reimburse me and honestly their email response was a joke. I am very upset with myself for not seeing these other reviews. Please read them all. I absolutely LOVE Bouse Fur House. I have been taking my dog there over a year and I have never once picked her up without a huge smile on her face. Everyone from the owner to the staff are incredibly friendly and I know they take excellent care of my fur baby. If you haven't tried Bouse Fur House out you are missing out. If you love your dog...DO NOT USE Bouse Fur House!!!! We started using them in 2022. Everything was okay until over the summer of 2023 when my dog stayed there for a week. We sent pre proportioned food and they failed to feed my dog 3 feedings that week and blamed it on she had refrigerated food and it was forgotten. We addressed the issue and gave them another chance this November. I picked up my dog on Saturday and 6 hours later she threw up at least 2 feedings of food along with a large rubber piece. I thought that was the end of it however the next day she was in so much pain I could barely pick her up to get her in the car to the vet. $2,000 in vet bills and exploratory surgery, her intestines were "telescoped" by the foreign object and all the vomitting and diarrhea. Were never informed by the Bouse that when the dogs go on the playground they are exposed to foreign toys. My dog is an Italian Mastiff and I only buy hard toys for her, nothing rubber or soft. I have checked with several local boarders and this is not common practice to allow foreign toys on a dog playground. Bouse won't help with vet bills and recommended we find a private sitter, however they would give us $600 in credit which is a slap in the face because they know I would never trust my dog in their care. read more

I brought my German shepherd here when I moved to broken arrow and the first visit was good, after that it got worse. They sent her home from "dog day care" covered in dry mud from head to toe one Friday. The employees laughed and told my husband she MAY need a bath when she gets home. Which we didn't find funny. So I emailed the owner and never got a reply, unprofessional. After my complaint I brought her back for dog day care because we'd spent $300 on a package. And the times I'd take her she'd come home throwing up for 24-48 hours She's throwing up chunks of stuff that appears to be pork skin, which isn't an item we keep in our home, not to mention Luna doesn't eat anything unless it's given to her so I'm left to think they did it purposely. Also, Once I was told they leave the dogs outside all day unsupervised so dog day care is actually just paying to let your pet be left outside for 8 hours in the heat. Good thing dogs can't talk because this place would be out of business. I'm tempted to open my own doggy day care to put this one out of business. The employees clearly don't have a love for animals. I'll attach a photo of Lunas collar the day she came home looking like she was homeless. This place is unprofessional and most likely dirty inside just going off the nasty stuff my dog keeps throwing up. read more

I called previously and I told them she was in heat and I WANTED them separate. I was told about a price difference and I was fine with that. When I brought them in, I filled out information re the cleaning and nail trimming they had done. I proceeded to write down information re her going into heat. How can I be sure my dog pregnant on your watch? Well, lets start here. She had the puppies 63 day AFTER staying your facility. Now, since you're such a dog person, you should know that a female dog pregnancy lasts that long. Also, when I showed up on Sunday to pick my dogs up, i was told my dogs were found "stuck" when they showed up to work. Another point, my dogs at home are kept in separate kennels. I don't put a dog in heat with a male in the same kennel. That's just common sense, that your facility clearly doesn't have. To say you didn't call back a PAYING CUSTOMER because "due to the negligence on" my "part as a dog owner" is just insulting. You don't have right the tell me I am being negligent because I didn't have her fixed at 6 months of age. That's my choice, not yours. You as a business owner should have more respect and decency for your paying customers and actually speak with them. I NEVER ONCE GOT A CALL BACK FROM YOUR FACILITY. STOP LYING! I have two husky puppies. One is a boy, and he was 9 months old when he went here, and one is a girl, she was 6 months old when she went here. I dropped them off on Friday, 04/27 and picked them up Sunday, 04/29. A week before I was going out of town, my girl husky decided she was going to go into heat. I called Bouse's Fur House, was told it was fine and that my dogs could be kept in separate kennels. FAST FORWARD TO PICK UP DATE: When I picked my puppies up from here on Sunday, the girl at the front had this shocked look on her face and proceeded to tell me that when they got to work, they walked in and my dogs were stuck. THEY HAD PUT MY TWO PUPPIES IN THE SAME FREAKING KENNEL! . FAST FORWARD TO PRESENT DAY: My girl puppy is now only 8 months old and is pregnant with 6 to 7 puppies . I have called Bouse's Fur House MULTIPLE times and the manager will NOT call me or my husband back. I am out the money for their kennel stay, which was $100, out $200 to our vet, and any expenses that will occur when the puppies are here (shots, check ups, etc.) To say I am furious is an understatement. read more

I do not recommend this place. They are very unprofessional. We have 2 French bulldogs. We purchased dog day care credits last year. We had our dogs boarded a couple of times overnight in which they caught kennel cough both times they stayed. We asked if we can receive a refund on our dog day care package and voiced out some concerns we had from the last dog stay in which our dogs were not properly fed. We watched the cameras, spoke to the staff, and called the staff with no answer. My wife measured our dog's meals out and they returned home with all their food except 2 cups which tells us they only had one meal during their stay. They denied these concerns we had and gave us excuses while saying we cannot receive a refund and we may not return to the establishment. How are they going to keep our $200+ and not allow us to come back just because we voiced our concerns about our pets care to them? I recommend you save yourself the hassle and find a different kennel to take your pets to. read more

Coming from out of state we were looking for a similar boarding and daycare situation as we had and our dog was accustomed to, Bouse Fur House was that and the most affordable. For the last year and a half we have driven 20 minutes, past several other dog boarding and daycare facilities, specifically to come here. Our dog is known and liked amongst the staff, who we have come to find out, frequently go above and beyond for him. The staff members have nicknames for him and get the excited full body tail wag from him when he sees them. He's as excited going as coming. The staff have also helped in several last minute situations when bad weather or unexpected delays make it where we can't make it back as planned. read more
