If you love your dog...DO NOT USE Bouse Fur House!!!! We started using them in 2022. Everything was okay until over the summer of 2023 when my dog stayed there for a week. We sent pre proportioned food and they failed to feed my dog 3 feedings that week and blamed it on she had refrigerated food and it was forgotten. We addressed the issue and gave them another chance this November. I picked up my dog on Saturday and 6 hours later she threw up at least 2 feedings of food along with a large rubber piece. I thought that was the end of it however the next day she was in so much pain I could barely pick her up to get her in the car to the vet. $2,000 in vet bills and exploratory surgery, her intestines were "telescoped" by the foreign object and all the vomitting and diarrhea. Were never informed by the Bouse that when the dogs go on the playground they are exposed to foreign toys. My dog is an Italian Mastiff and I only buy hard toys for her, nothing rubber or soft. I have checked with several local boarders and this is not common practice to allow foreign toys on a dog playground. Bouse won't help with vet bills and recommended we find a private sitter, however they would give us $600 in credit which is a slap in the face because they know I would never trust my dog in their care.

For the last year and a half we have driven 20 minutes, past several other dog boarding and daycare facilities, specifically to come here.

We thought our boy had a UTI. We went online and easily booked a same day appointment. When we got…read morethere Dr. Sharon Baker was so nice. She listened to our concerns and even watched a small video we took of our dog. She was concerned and recommended we get an X-ray if we wanted. She was not pushy. She just said we need peace of mind that it's not something else. She was right. Our little guy had bladder stones and one stuck in his urethrae. She called in the surgeon, Dr. Don Schmidt. He rearranged his schedule and got our boy straight in for surgery. We didn't have to take him someplace else or wait another day. That was so nice. He had his appointment at 2pm then surgery shortly afterwards and we had him in our arms by 6:30. I'm so impressed with them. Also, we asked for a refill from a previous vet on some anxiety medicine for him. Dr. Baker was like, no problem. She told us to order it through Chewy since they didn't have it in stock and we needed it quickly for the fireworks coming in a few days. She said she would take care of it on her end and give authorization to Chewy when they called. The only thing I was kind of disappointed about was the tension at the front desk when we checked out. There could have been better customer service there. But overall we were happy with the service and the amount of care from the vets. Update: When we got home a few hours later, our dog was wincing in pain. We gave him some of the meds the doctor gave us but he still winced terribly. We had to take him to the ER and leave him overnight to get a slow drip of pain meds. Update -2 weeks later- Midnight is doing so well. He seems like he has gotten two years knocked off his age. He's getting around like a spring chicken. We went back to get stitches out and the staff was excellent. The front desk staff took time to talk to me about my dogs, and Dr. Baker met with me and discussed what we need to do for Midnight going forward. She wrote it all down for me so I could look over my options. I am very pleased and will return.

Recently saw Dr Webb for my dog. First experience with her and she followed all my recommendations for testing. My dog ended up going to ER the next day and had to be admitted. No one from Good shepherd followed up with me the following week, even though the ER had sent them the hospitalization summary. On Tuesday, I called to tell the front desk my dog had not eaten anything g since at least Sunday, Requesting a vet call me to discuss options. She acted like I had asked her how to fly a plane--totally lost. I called again and spoke with someone at the front desk. This is now 4 days since my dog has not eaten and asked for a vet to call. This is now Thursday and not call from anyone! Very, very disappointing.

I cannot express this enough: Dogville is the best place I could ever hope to send my pup…read more I'll be honest, I have a horrible habit of trying a new place once, and writing a review immediately after. And now I must admit, I have been waiting on this review for far too long. We found Dogville about 6 months ago when we were looking for a possible boarding facility for our then 7 month old border collie/terrier mix. She is extremely energetic, and love people/dogs, but has horrible separation anxiety when we have to leave her. We were hoping for two things: a safe, responsible boarding facility where she would feel welcomed and loved, not trapped, and a daycare to help get her some exercise during a long work week for us. We have easily found both here, and I cannot even begin to imagine sending her anywhere else. After only 2 times of bringing her in, the staff members knew her on site and were excited to welcome her in. They gave us assurances her first several times in regarding how she was doing, and even continue to check in with us at pick up or they have a spare moment. We have run into staff members at community events, and my pup treats them like any other member of the family. She rushes to get in the door, and isn't even nervous to leave us anymore. The staff members are so kind, and attentive, both to owners and animals, and do an absolutely amazing job making sure everyone is safe and cares for appropriately. We now take her to daycare at least once a week, and always look forward to stories about her playtime. They were even able to dress her up and take birthday pictures of her for us because we unfortunately had to be out of town the day it happened this year (I'll attach those here). They have such cute opportunities and features, keep the facility clean, and above all else, truly care about the dogs. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I can, and will continue to do so.

When we picked him up I noticed him sad, we assumed it was because of the change, but as the day passed he continued to be sad, he did not want to walk or play, we took him to the veterinary emergency and the doctor did not report that by cutting his hair they hurt his private male parts to the point of causing him an inflammation, sharp pain and to the point of almost bleeding. The people who work here should be more careful. Today I spoke with the manager and informed her of what happened and very politely and respectfully she apologized, she told me that this was unacceptable and that she would take care of the costs. Thank you very much Stephanie for your prompt response, but I will not use her services again. I only ask you to be more careful with our babies. Today I went to speak with Stephanie again about paying the vet costs, she refused to attend to me and sent someone else, a person who leaves a lot to say, was rude and questioned all the time if it was true that I took my baby. to the veterinarian and that if I was sure that he had been injured in his store, that it was true that I had paid for the veterinarian, it seems disrespectful to me, additionally I could see what the store is like in the back and I have to say that it is HORRIBLE, it is not a pleasant place to see and much less to have our babies, really TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER ATTENTION
